STOP WARRING WITH YOURSELF

Life is but the passing glimpse of a history. It is a whisper on the winds of time. It is an echo in the halls of eternity. Every breath taken is insignificant to all that is immortal, even as every breath has significance.

Life is too short to spend it wasting time. It is too short to be at odds with yourself. It is too short to be conflicted in your soul. It is too short to be your own worst enemy, always battling yourself, punishing yourself for every tiny mistake, those thoughts you berate yourself with, the perpetual torture of belief that you are unworthy of what life has and is giving you.

You have to STOP this war on yourself. You have to stop thinking of yourself as nothing of value. You have to stop crumbling your dreams into dust because you might be the only one who believes in them. You have to stop the wounds you are leaving on your own heart.

You have to start seeing yourself the way those who LOVE you see you. You have to start seeing the potential in you, acknowledge what you have done, and see that the future holds so much room for growth and more. You have to start seeing the perfectly imperfect and beautiful being that God created to fulfill the purpose that He has charged you and you alone with.

Life is too short to spend it at war with the world, let alone yourself. It is too precious to be spent, even unconsciously, in the painful present of destroying the happiness hidden in the depths of your heart. You were meant for greater things than this, so open up your soul, unbind your heart, and free your mind from all you have inflicted on it, and start seeing and believing in the miracle that you are.

BECOME AN INSPIRATION

You are alive for a PURPOSE. Do NOT waste the precious breath you have been given on frivolous pursuits. Instead, let your life MEAN something. DO something with it. Devote yourself to the “service” of others, that you may INSPIRE in them a desire to be GREAT. HELP them to see the greatness hiding inside them, their POTENTIAL for ultimate success and the achievement of all their heart’s passions.

Live to INSPIRE others. Inspire them to become BETTER. Inspire them to want MORE out of life, to seek for DEEPER purpose, to discover what THEY are here for, and all that they are meant to be. Inspire them to PUSH the boundaries of what is “possible” and create dreams IN reality. Inspire them to more than they might have ever dreamed OF and in that, have them see that it is only just the BEGINNING.

Inspire those AROUND you. Inspire those you have NEVER met. Inspire those whose souls you connect with on a plane out of this dimension of time and space. The world is VAST, but we are all connected somehow in the tapestry of life, in ways we might never know of. Your stretch is further than YOU will ever fathom, and EVERYTHING you do impacts someone somewhere.

Live FOR something. Make your life FRUITFUL. Let the world SEE your passion. Let them FEEL it and know that it comes from a true heart of “wonder”. This life is not about you alone, but about the DIFFERENCE you make in the lives of OTHERS. Live to ensure that the difference YOU make has a POSITVE impact, seared on the souls of those you encounter, so that in turn, THEY live to inspire with their own “story”.

Might not seem like much, but so much more than one might comprehend. Took a lifetime to accept or want to see and be, but once embraced able to step into the potential power. Still a learning experience, but day by day discovering and becoming all I was created for and meant to be. A simple word, but encompassing a universe of meaning. A body perhaps to many, but even more significant the soul that resides inside to the enlightened souls in the world it lives in. A woman, but not just a woman. What you see is not always what is, but what you "vibe" will always be real.

BE STRONGER

There is strength and then there is STRENGTH. One is seen and one is DONE. True strength is not always seen but exists despite anonymity, persevering because the one who bears it KNOWS and that is all that truly matters.

There are days when you wake and wonder what and why. There are moments and events and circumstances where understanding eludes you. Regardless, “strength” keeps going, keeps moving forward, no matter the pace, because it trusts in something bigger than can be seen.

Every day holds potential for GROWTH. Everything is “designed” to make us stronger and better equipped to “deal” with whatever may come. Accept that, embrace it, and just keep on doing “you” the way it is “right” in your soul.

True strength needs no recognition, even as it empowers and inspires, albeit not always even knowing it. Regardless of anything external, know yourself and be at peace with it, letting your life be your “example” and your actions be your “words”.

The world opens on a NEW era! A new YEAR!  

A FRESH chapter begins. Your life story continues. Only now, what has passed has “created” a woman who knows NO limits and will accept NO excuses. She knows what she wants and she has NO fear in pursuing it or casting aside anything that does NOT have purpose. She has been “carved” from more than rock and ice, for there is now emotion and feeling free to roam in her soul, light and love reflected out from her heart, happiness in her being as she goes forth.

The darkness has PASSED and the path ahead is bright. She knows where she is going. She can SEE her dreams standing there for her to walk alongside. She smiles as she runs through the light with the true companions in her life, seeking to shine that light across every soul she touches, so that they too might be inspired and have hope and never forget that the brightest stars can only be where there has been the deepest dark.

Like the sun rising in the “new world”, you never know when she will come or what you might see as she rises, but you know that she WILL. With passion she will live her truth, because she knows who and what she IS, having come into FULL awareness of self, not content to let life pass her by, but LIVE it as madly and passionately and wildly as she can in all its potential and glory and wonder, every new experience forging new paths to wander.

Many people in this world are searching for something. Something that will make everything better, change the way things are; allow them to experience the “magic” of life. STOP searching, for there is “magic” all around you: In a smile, the eyes of another, a hug or warm embrace, the beating of heart, the bloom of a flower or blossom on a tree, the hint of life or the beginning of one, change, hope, love. There is magic if only you open your HEART and your eyes to SEE it.
 
However, while there is “magic” all around you, there is also no “magic” unless YOU create it. Those who WAIT for it will never find or experience the satisfaction of it, for while there is always POTENTIAL for “magic” to be, the same way that dreams do not come true unless YOU pursue them, “magic” does not happen unless you MAKE it happen.
 
So if you’re looking for “magic” today, STOP looking. See what is and start CREATING your OWN “magic” to ADD to the world!

ONCE UPON A TIME

Life is a MIRACLE. Life is a FAIRY-TALE. Life is a story that time tells and we CREATE through our decisions and actions. Life can be WHATEVER we want it to be if we are willing to believe that it CAN be. Life can be a dream come TRUE if we ALLOW it to manifest as our reality. Life can be everything we could ever want and so much MORE if we open our hearts and souls to the POSSIBILITY.

NEVER say “never”, for you never know when “never” can become a TRUTH right in front of you, lived by YOU in a life you might never have imagined for yourself. Life loves to SURPRISE you, so never give up hope and always have faith that it is so much MORE than what is SEEN, that endless potential and wonder lie in wait for you, for that moment when you least expect it.

ALWAYS dream. Always BELIEVE. Life IS a miracle and ANYthing can happen!

LIFE'S FLAMES

Life loves to test us. Sometimes it waits a lifetime to see what we are made of, desiring to surprise us suddenly to observe how we handle its disruption. Other times it seems intent on seeing how well we fare with what seems like setback after setback, to see if we’re truly what we say we are and to see what we can grow INTO.

Life can simmer or it can boil. It can allow your life to rest upon a single ember or it can immerse you in flames so hot you feel like you might burn up from the inside out. Either way, whether we survive the fire and how we come out reveals us to the world and sometimes to OURSELVES.

Life can create a monster or it can create a beast. The difference is that a monster knows no bounds to its fury and the havoc it wreaks based on the “injustice” it feels has been done to it, whereas a beast is a monster who realizes that every trial is a “lesson” and an experience with opportunity for great GROWTH.

Life can transform a monster into a beast. Once it quiets enough to understand and accept the challenges and struggles that face it. A monster of destruction can become a beast of growth, a far more powerful weapon because the difference it makes in the world creates an impact for the BETTER.

Life loves to bring chaos into being. Sometimes simply because it can, sitting back to watch what unfolds. Other times because there is a purpose, change to elicit the activation of the potential lying inside or the resurrection of the passion that might have almost died, so that we might become our BEST.

GO, LIVE LIFE

Life is short and it is oh so very PRECIOUS. EVERY moment counts and every second matters. Everything you DO has cause and effect. Everything you SAY lingers in a heart or mind or time. Everything you ARE can change the world AROUND you.

SEE the world for what it is and then WORK on making the one YOU live in the way you WANT it to be as much as you can effect and have “power”. As you strive to become the BEST you possibly can, encourage OTHERS to their potential alongside you, showing them that there is ALWAYS hope and NOTHING is “impossible”, that life is a dream to be imagined and made REAL.

LIVE life as you strive, ENJOYING the “moments” that will become memories, GRATEFUL for the blessing of those kindred souls who journey with you and have come to mean more than you ever might have thought. As you open your heart and let your soul SMILE allow yourself simply to “be”, EMBRACING all that you are and will become, INVITING the future and opportunity for GROWTH, inspiring movement and momentum of vision and promise.

EVERYthing has PURPOSE. Every “chance” is a gift given, a mystery to unravel, a wonder to behold, a blessing to be shared. Every NEW day is another day to unlock potential, change in ways that might have once been unfathomable, experience the amazing in the “normal”, make a DIFFERENCE as only YOU can. RECOGNIZE it and take control, even as you let Him “lead”, understanding that every day is His gift to you, your “second chance” to live a life of choices that will create positive example to INSPIRE courage and “risk” in others to LIVE their lives as COMPLETELY as possible as well.

I AM ENOUGH

The world will always entertain a thought process that seeks to enslave you, to try causing you to think that you need something or someone to “complete” you, wanting you to be reliant on others to survive, searching to capture souls to manipulate. But it is wrong, because you do NOT need anything or anyone else to be COMPLETE, and life strives to prove that by throwing obstacles in your way to get you to dig deep WITHIN YOURSELF, to bring forth the TRUE spirit of you.

Those who are not strong enough will not withstand the pressure, but those who are, even if they might never have thought it, will discover in such times their true STRENGTH and learn that they ARE ENOUGH. They will know that they are enough on their OWN, that they CAN stand alone and be ok, that standing alone IS ok, even if the world frowns upon it and seeks to take away their independence and freedom, to trap them in a cage it hopes they will settle in.

I AM ENOUGH on my own. I do NOT need anything or anyone else to complete me. I KNOW who and what I am and I am OK with that. I am COMFORTABLE in my own skin and need no one’s reassurance to stay that way. I am my OWN person, independent and free-spirited, always have been and always will be. I know what I want and will not accept anything LESS than I DESERVE. I CHOOSE to follow a path I cut for myself, whether the world “approves” or not, no matter how “alone” I may be on it.

That said I can WELCOME the presence of another, understanding that life seeks to create bonds between souls that will only STRENGTHEN who they are, both as individuals and together, bringing together like-minded souls who ADD a depth and richness to the other’s life that they cannot give themselves. This does not mean I am incomplete alone, only that I accept there ARE some things I can never give or experience by isolating myself.

I CAN now allow another into my world because I KNOW WHO I AM. Not everyone will be allowed in, rare few indeed, but those few will always be treasured for the INVALUABLE GIFTS they are, the BLESSINGS I realize He is bestowing on me. We may be able to be complete on our own, but we were not meant to WALK alone, and I know that now. I am enough on my own, but with another I can become so much MORE, as can they, desiring and seeking to unfold each soul to its full and complete potential.

BUILDING THE NEW

Change happens to all of us at some time or another. No one is immune from it. No one can outrun it. It affects each of us, in many different ways. One person’s change may not be like your own. That doesn’t matter. What matters is that there IS change.

So many of us spend our energies on the OLD, what we are leaving behind, “living in the past”. What is not realized is that when we do that we give what is past the POWER and “weaken” ourselves for the future. If you spend so long looking back, you do not give yourself to live in the NOW.

The best way to “deal” with change is to look FORWARD. Let the past go and step INTO the future. Focus all your time and effort on building the dream that is now before you, the future you hold in your mind, the one that might have seemed like a dream until now.

Focus on the NEW. That is the only real way you are going to have any “control”, the only true way for you to be able to lead the life you are meant to. The new is your POTENTIAL. REALIZE it and “throw away” any misconceptions you might have had about starting over.

Now is the time. Now is YOUR time. It might seem like there is “nothing” there, but there is EVERYTHING. You just have to OPEN your eyes to see it. See it and take a hold of it. Dream. Plan. Act. There is no time like the PRESENT to set in motion the events that will determine where you go from here.

SAY "YES" TO YOU

You have had something on your heart for a long time now. Something that should been done when you FIRST recognized it, but never was because you were too busy taking care of everyone else and their needs, ignoring your own in a misplaced sense of loyalty. But now that something is of PARAMOUNT importance to do, for such a deep-seated desire does not get laid on one’s heart for no reason, and it’s time to start thinking about your OWN health and happiness, to begin doing what will be BEST for you.

First, you must learn to be SELFISH. Hard for those who always put others before themselves, who have taken care of everyone else all their life and neglected themselves until they could no longer ignore the warning signals inside. Being selfish we all need to be sometimes, for if we do not take care of ourselves we are NOT going to be in any position to be of service to others. We also need to realize that when WE are healthy and happy, then we are better equipped to create POSITIVE impact in others’ lives.

You are at the point where you can no longer ignore that desire, when it MUST be taken care of before all else, not just because it should have been done, but because if it is NOT, you will never be able to live your life as completely as you were meant to. You WANT to become ALL you have the potential and power to be, and to do that this must be DONE. You have made the decision and now it is time to ACT on it, creating the reality that you have sought in your heart for a long time.

Realize that saying “no” to everyone else and their needs for a time is NOT bad, for not only must they learn to start taking care of themselves and not rely on draining you of everything you have and are to keep them satisfied, but you need to start thinking of YOU and YOUR best interests. Life changes and we change with it and that change should constantly be making us into something BETTER than we are. To become better, you have to know what you NEED to do to reach that next level and just DO it, no matter the cost.

There is ALWAYS going to be a cost to doing what must be done, but that is nothing compared to what will be if you do NOT move. Your life is your own, so start allowing it to be. Start allowing yourself to LIVE. Start allowing that glimpse of happiness to become a ray of hope that spreads throughout your being, into all corners of your soul and life. Start allowing that inner voice to say “YES” to yourself, accepting that you must in order for your life to truly move FORWARD.

LIFE

Life is a gift given to all. Not everyone might “deserve” it, but everyone is given the chance to take that blessing and turn it into something great. Life is a miracle and every moment you have breath in your body is a moment to be thankful for.

Gifts are opportunities. They may present as difficulties and obstacles, but the harder the challenge, the greater the opportunity to grow and develop, to “prove” that such a gift was not wasted and the one who received it has a diamond hidden inside the rough.

Life and the gifts it bestows are not always what we want or expect. Not being given what is desired can be the “best” thing one can receive, because what they ARE given can reveal far greater meaning; and sometimes being given the unexpected leads to far more than could ever be imagined and asked for.

Gifts are not given to be set aside. They are intended to be used and He who gives them gives accordingly, knowing what it will take to bring forth the potential hidden inside each one of us. You are unique and your gifts are unique, so treasure them and see the value that He sees.

Life is a miracle. YOU are a miracle. No matter where you have been or what you have been through, it has brought you to the place you now stand. It has given you what you need to become the blessing you are meant to be, so smile as you step into another day and another chance to live “greatness”.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

EVOLUTION

Those whom I have let know and walk beside me can see how I have changed, the evolution that has occurred, and know that it is not yet over. Those who do not know me can also see in the time that they have known of me that something has changed and can only watch as that change continues to unfold.

I remember the person I was. I know that person. I understand her. I have seen how far she has come, how she has changed and the difference the changes have made. I also know how she is the same, the aspects that have grown stronger, darker, harder and more resilient, even as they are nothing as they were yet are.

I know where the woman I am is now. I know how conflicted is her heart and how close to complete breaking was her soul. I know the chaos that flees through her mind, the darkness that sometimes overshadows the light. I also know that it is a place she cannot stay.

I see where the evolution of my being can take me. I know that nothing is always as it seems and that a huge part of my future lies in the decisions and actions I choose upon in the now. I know that there is more growth to come, but that it can only make me better than who I am today.

Far from where I once was, but still far from where I will ultimately be, I can only make the choice to walk forward with courage and positivity, knowing that I am not alone, my strength drawn from Him, my refuge in Him, and that there is nothing that will come at me I cannot face without fear.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

PAST AND FUTURE

Yes, you have a past – we all do, and whether it was not the most stellar, was completely memorable, or was noteworthy doesn’t make it any less real or special. Your past is where you have come FROM and does not indicate where you are GOING; it does not control who and what you BECOME – that is all on YOU. YOU determine your future; you determine what events you set in motion to eventuate or come to fruition at a later date – the ACCOUNTABILITY lies with YOU.

Your past tells the story of where you have BEEN, of the strength and power of your convictions and beliefs, highlighting the path that has moulded you to this point – for some it’s extreme; for others it is simply waking up to realize what life is truly about; for others it is about testing themselves and pushing boundaries. For you to be where you are right now, you should have a sense of PRIDE that you have OVERCOME your past, not allowing it to determine your POTENTIAL and SUCCESS.

There is power in the past – IF we let it, for it is what has gone before and not what is to be. There is power in the present – in the POTENTIAL for the future, in the hope and faith in our hearts. There is power in the future – in the PROMISE of what lies ahead, the DIFFERENCE we can make, and even the successful should not be complacent, for the journey is not yet over, the path ahead unknown, to be determined, what we MAKE of it.
