THE COIN

The ground beneath you is unstable, threatening to collapse beneath you, but you have NO fear because you know that it NEEDS to for you to rise to the NEXT level of your life. Your eyes are OPEN to see the outstretched hands above you, knowing now that there ARE those who care and WANT to see you move FORWARD in your life, who want to walk WITH you through life, not because they want something from you, but because they SEE you and “get it”. They get WHO you are and understand where you have been, knowing where you are GOING, desiring to be a part of the NEW life that God is opening up and creating for you to step into.

You need no one to tell you what you want, because you suddenly REALIZED it, waking one morning to find that everything had CHANGED, that little voice in your soul whispering truths you had until now tried to deny to yourself, thinking that if you ignored them, they would go away and be less real, but now, knowing that they are NOT, nor wanting them to disappear, READY to allow them opportunity to GROW and FLOURISH in your life, the one you are stepping INTO.

You know now that you are NOT alone. You know now your HEART. You know now what you SEEK in your future. You know now that you are READY. This is YOUR time, to take a chance on something you would never have risked for before, to give yourself more room to GROW and OPEN your soul to the wonders He has waiting for you. There is no better time than NOW. LISTEN to that inner voice, ACCEPT and reach for those outstretched hands, and LET yourself live life the way you were always INTENDED to.

Your life is NOT yet over. There is STILL air in your lungs, even if sometimes they feel like someone has crushed them beneath the weight of the world. There is still hope in your heart, even if sometimes it feels as if you’re clinging to it by the MEREST of slivers. There is still faith in your soul, even if sometimes you wonder why and ask yourself what you are holding on FOR.

There is still LIFE in your life, even if sometimes you cannot see the way or know what the next step to take is. There are multitudes of POSSIBILITIES swirling around you, just waiting for you to open your eyes to see them for what they are; to see them standing there in front of you wanting you to see them, as you want yourself to be seen.

There IS love out there for you. It might have had folded arms and guarded smiles, but it IS there; as cautious as you because it has been hurt over and over, scars it wears proudly because it still has the courage to believe that it WAS meant for this life, beauty that only another soul who sings the SAME tune can see and appreciate.

Life is FULL of infinite possibilities. Endless opportunities call YOUR name. You could walk in ANY of myriad directions. You could traverse far MORE than one ocean. YOU could live a life of untold wonder and unimagined joy. You just have to SEE it. You have to realize it and understand that it IS there for you. You have to be OPEN to it. You have to step INTO it.

Taking that FIRST step is always the hardest. Walking AWAY from what you know for what you don’t is always apprehensive. Opening up your heart and soul again for something new is always a RISK. But all the risk in the world is WORTH it, because without it, you would never truly know what it is like to be blessed, to live happiness, to experience peace, to grow and evolve, and to REALLY live.

Christmas is already well into back home, but barely just crept into right here. Whether there or here, with loved ones or in solitude, the spirit and significance of Christmas glows just as much as the smile thoughts of those loves cannot help but bring irrespective of presence, and light up energy like the brilliant golds or glistening blues of Christmas lights, beautiful in both summer and winter. Despite experiencing extremes in emotions with events since last Christmas past, being here in this moment, today, still breathing and fighting, means choosing to keep my heart and soul open, allowing such experience to create even more change and embracing new softness that now can be recognized more truly as strength. Taking it day by day, sometimes survived barely by that smile tucked away, even before this Christmas begins leaking sunrise into the world here, I choose to consciously continue allowing love, much like the sun during the day, to grow in strength and power of warmth and light. My wish and hope for all, even as day turns to night and leaves this Christmas behind, is that not only today but every one moving forward, will stay alight with the glow in the spirit of Christmas.

The highs, then lows, before the depths, the falling... seemingly endless falling... through the darkness, a vortex of black, not knowing when it will stop, or even if there is a bottom to be reached... a recurring dream since childhood, where you are just falling and falling and falling, through time and the black... BUT... It is just a dream, even as it is not a dream, and all dreams eventually come to an end, when we open our eyes, when we awaken... when we still ourselves enough to come back to our soul to see the blur between dream and nightmare and know both are the same, just different perspective of energy and vision... AND... we know that we can fall up too, maybe not as fast as we fall down, but we can, and we do... and we will rise past everything that we have seen or known as we fell, to a place beyond the point where we fell from... SO... keep going, my friend, dark to night, until night becomes day, that day turns to light... for the strength of your heart to hold onto hope, no matter the circumstances, is a light on its own, and you never know what difference it might make to who or where in your dark... keep a hold on your heart, for your soul, for its power.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

THERE IS ALWAYS A SMILE

You might wake to sunshine or rain. Your first thought might be one of joy or despair. Your heart might be light or crushed. No matter how you wake, it’s the start of a brand NEW day.

Another day is another chance: To make the changes in your life that you want to see happen and bring about, to look for the light in the darkness and the hope in the torment, to KEEP going even if you feel like you cannot or do not want to, to find a SMILE and to give ANOTHER that blessing.

No matter how you wake, there is ALWAYS something out there to smile about. Always someone who can make you smile simply by thinking about them. Something that can happen to you that will make your smile grow wider and bigger. Something that can amaze you so much the memory of that smile imprints on your heart forever.

No matter how you wake, the thoughts in your head, what is going on in your life, remember that there is ALWAYS going to be a smile tucked away, even if you think not. You just have to shake your head, close your eyes and reopen them to look at the world in a different light, from a new perspective, see the beauty and let it touch your soul, having faith in the hope that your dreams are on their way to becoming tangible.

FRESH START

There is hope at the start of every dawn. Light spreading its way through the world and your heart. Faith infused in your soul believing in the future. Gratitude overflowing from that deep and secret place inside so far down no one else can see it. For what you have been given. A new day. Another chance. A fresh start.


Be thankful that He deemed you worthy of such a gift. That He is not the only one who has forgiven your transgressions. Waste not every opportunity that comes your way to show how much you care. To show how much you love. To leave no room for doubt of your devotion.


Let the hope that rises with the sun stay with you far after the sun has set. Let it linger in the depths of your soul. Let it surprise you with its joy. Let the quiet comfort it affords breathe calmness in your spirit. Let it help your mind relax. Let it keep the light of life alive inside.


After the darkness of a night without stars comes the most beautiful of dawns. Turn your face to the sun and let its warmth seep through your being. Soak up the beauty of its aura. Capture the promise of its magnificence. Remember always the joy it gives to your heart and never let it go.


Use the new day that you have been given. To do all that you can. Leave nothing on the table. Give it everything you’ve got. Be thankful for everything He has blessed you with. Be thankful for everything He has given back that was taken away. Be thankful that you took the risk and flew. Now fly higher than you ever have before!

LIGHT AND DARKNESS

The most brilliant lights shine in the deepest darkness. The greatest illumination occurs in the complete absence of light. The brightest stars would not be seen if not for the darkness they are surrounded by.


In the same manner, PEOPLE cannot shine without the darkness they experience. They cannot grow without the pain suffered. They cannot know true happiness without knowing the deepest despair. They cannot fully appreciate life in all its beauty and glory without having fallen so far that they know the ugliness and depravity that balances this world.


The greatest people that you know have been through the most in life. You might not always know it, but those with discernment will sense it in their soul. The most beautiful people have the kindest hearts, even if they seem untouchable and distant. The kindest hearts come from having experienced the deepest heartache and never wanting another to suffer through the same or similar experience. Those experiences create in one an understanding, instill empathy for the lost, and allow one to grow into more than they are.


The greatest people that you know have overcome the most adversity. They have faced unspoken tragedy. They have dealt with destruction on a level they would never wish you to know personally. They are great because they have known all that and are still here. They have been broken and yet remain intact. They have been destroyed so much that they have been brought to their knees and yet they stand before you. They stand before you, because in those times, they grew in strength and courage and passion and never failed to hold tight to faith and hope and belief, even if for a time they might have felt like there was nothing left to cling to.


The most brilliant lights shine in the deepest darkness. The brightest stars are only so bright BECAUSE of the darkness.

BE THE MESSAGE


You know what it feels like. You’ve been there. You might be there NOW. You know the pain that resides deep down in the souls of the lost and brokenhearted. It’s not enough to JUST know. It’s not enough to care. You have to SHOW that you care, that you UNDERSTAND. You have to be real enough that you ARE the example others can look towards, the strength that they could hold onto, a glimmer of hope that everything will work itself out and be all right. Even if everything is NOT ok for you, you can do this for them because you still have HOPE and faith in something far bigger and greater than yourself and your circumstances.


No one might know what is going on with you. All they see is a smile and positivity, the words of encouragement to others, the empathy radiating from your soul when you are confided in with others’ fears and secrets. Even if they knew what you were going through, you cannot stand there and simply tell them what to do or to have faith that it’ll be ok. You have to TRULY believe it too yourself, not just for them, but for YOU.


You have to be MORE than a message. You have to be a living, breathing EXAMPLE. You have to show through your own ACTIONS that no matter what, giving up is NEVER an option, that what is happening now can only make you STRONGER. You have to show that even if it breaks you for a time, destroys you so completely you feel like there is nothing left to recognize in the aftermath, the world CONTINUES. YOU continue.


Life goes on. And you have to BE there, pushing forward and striving higher than ever before. You have to show that your circumstances do NOT define you, even if they help SHAPE you and the path your future might follow. You have to show them that pain is just a TOOL used to see what you are MADE of, to make you truly realize what is IMPORTANT to you, that which is precious and IRREPLACEABLE, and give you the burning courage to fight FOR it with everything you have. If you want to make a DIFFERENCE, YOU have to be the MESSAGE.

BEST DAYS

You may have had some AMAZING days in the past – days that will always be memories that you look back on with a smile in your soul. You may have had some UNFORGETTABLE days in the past – days that will forever be imprinted so deep on your heart that you will remember even at the most random of times. You may have had some BEAUTIFUL days in your past – days that made you feel so full of love and hope and joy that when you reminisce you can almost taste those feelings all over again.

But . . . The BEST days of your life are yet to COME!

There WILL be MORE amazing and unforgettable and beautiful days in your life . . . In your FUTURE. Those days are going to be even MORE wonderful than the ones you have ALREADY had. Not because they have yet to be, but because they hold PROMISE of the future, of what that future IS and will be. They give you something to look FORWARD to, even as you live in the NOW and allow yourself to be fully present in the experience of TODAY.

I walk in blood

night as black

wings folded above my head
to frame the moon
as she rises red.
Crimson stain
seep through my heart

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

TODAY

The world is alive with vibrancy. It beats with life and hums with joy. There is delight to be found everywhere. You need to OPEN your heart and KEEP it open; hold onto the love you have seen, the beauty discovered, the truth revealed, and realize that it is not just for a moment or an hour or a day, but a LIFETIME. It exists for an eternity, however long for you that may be. It exists for you and you must never stop believing that. You must never stop hoping. You must never stop dreaming. You must always remember.

And as you do, remember that YOU are one of those things of beauty, of wonder, of value, of delight, and not just for a moment, but ALWAYS. You always were and always will be, whether your eyes “see” it or not. You are worthy of love and life and everything you have ever wished or hoped for. You are wonderful, a beautiful mess of humanity deserving of love and life and acceptance, and YOU need to be the one to START the process – it must first come from withIN for you to truly fully embrace it and allow it.  You yourself need to “take” it, because you know now and you cannot UNknow it once realized.

You have to take it and understand it. Dissect it if you must, but take it and nurture it and watch it grow, the bloom of self-love, so that you never stop feeling alive, the way you never want to stop feeling alive; your smile real, your eyes sparkle, you the light instead of the night to those around you; the joy that infuses your world with melody; infectious exuberance. You must be the core, the seed that from it all springs.

He has planted you and waited patiently for you to stir beneath the earth. Now that you have stirred, the first shoots of green appeared, you can only CONTINUE to grow and spread and reach and touch the world around you. That seed must grow and bloom and push towards the surface and break it and BLOSSOM...

FIGHT WITH FAITH

Yes, there are some times when life knocks you down. But a true warrior, a born fighter, will CONTINUE fighting, even if it might not seem like it. Getting knocked down is a given, and staying down for a time can be forgiven, but getting back UP is ALWAYS the ONLY “option”. Whatever happens, the highs and lows, NEVER stop fighting, because there is MORE to life than this; there is more than can be SEEN and EVERYTHING is significant, revealed when you are “ready”.

Life is MORE than a “fight”. It is a test, a trial, a race, an “endurance”. There is no true “finish”, for this life will lead onto the next, but it IS a “race” full of obstacles that will challenge even the hardest contender. The “end” should not even be in our mind, for it will come to each in their own time, and it is the WAY the “race” is run that is important.

You need more than willpower and strength to fight, to go on when the odds seemed stacked against you, when hope might seem like the merest glimmer. More than power and might or skill and instinct. You need FAITH, for the belief in something BIGGER than yourself and a PURPOSE for living can carry you through the most struggling times. No matter what happens, how many hits you take, how many times you fall, how much damage you sustain, believe that it is WORTH it and KEEP FIGHTING IN FAITH!

MIRACLES

There are people in your life whom you will never forget, whether you live another hour or day or year or lifetime, and whether they are in your life or you have “let them go” for whatever reason was necessary. Yet even if the latter, though you may have “given them up to God” and “made your peace” with their time in your life, your heart can and often will still hold onto them as precious gifts and blessings you were given the joy of having for however short or long a term, your soul never giving up on them, even if their time has “passed”.

Sometimes those we thought “gone” from our lives can “return” or be “rediscovered”, the love we will always have for them smiling. No one is ever truly “lost” to or from us, choices either we or they make determining their absence or presence in our lives.

Miracles are not reserved only for the “worthy” or certain people, but everyone, and everyone is deserving of them in their lives. Whether you might have given up hope or tried to move on from the touching of another soul against your own, nothing in your past or present will hold you back from the possibility of a miracle now or in the future. And even if we have “released” another soul from ours for our own wellbeing and healing, one day the miracle might come to pass that rekindling relationship with that soul is part of our journey and ongoing growth.

Even if you “let go”, if someone touches you so deeply and inspires change in your life, never “give up” on them, for not all souls “develop” at the same rate and in the same scope, and in due time, what may not have been “ready” for you, or them, might one day “come into its own”.

THE BEST DREAMS

Dreaming when we are asleep can be wonderful, but the BEST dreams happen when we are AWAKE, for when we are awake we are truly AWARE. We can fully APPRECIATE the magic of the moment and know that it is REAL, not just something in our subconscious we desire.

The best dreams are not the ones we “sleep” but the ones we LIVE. They are in the choices we make each day, the chances we take, the risks we open our souls for because we want to believe in something, faith and hope that there is MORE out there than what we “see”, knowing that BETTER days are coming because our actions today are CREATING them. WE are creating the reality we will live in, the dreams that will become our future, even as they might be real in our NOW.

The best dreams are the ones that we do NOT let slumber, but seek to let see light of the morning sun rising gloriously upon, the ones that we smile in in REAL life. Life itself is a “dream”, a “story”, a “fairy-tale written by God’s hands”, and “happily ever after” DOES exist, but only because we CHOOSE to make them HAPPEN. They say the most “dangerous” people are those who dream when awake, for those are the ones that CREATE their dreams, while the “sleeping dreamers” are satisfied with keeping theirs “fiction”.

Why NOT make your dreams your REALITY? NOTHING is impossible after all; especially when the dreams placed on your heart have rested insistently on your SOUL, consuming you slowly for what seems like a lifetime. Decide TODAY – are you a DOER or just a “wannabe” dreamer? Do you have what it TAKES to RISK it all now for what you want in your FUTURE? Do you DARE stop saying “I wish” and start ACTING?

Remember, the BEST dreams are the ones we choose to LIVE and when we live the life we love, we love the life we live!

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

THE FUTURE

We don’t know what the future holds. We cannot predict it. But - we CAN HOPE for it. We CAN TRUST in His promises and have Faith that He knows what He’s doing, the way He’s moulding our circumstances - turning negatives into positives, fears into dreams, failures into opportunities - so that we can have nothing but the BEST. He ALWAYS has something WAITING for us, even if WE make the choices that might eventually take us AWAY from those things. After all, we DO have FREE WILL, the power of CHOICE, and what we do is not always in line with what He would want us to do. But, it IS our life, and we HAVE that grace.

We do not have dreams in our hearts for NO reason, so if you have one that CONSUMES you, then know that it is there for a PURPOSE. You might not know what for - and if you do, then more power to you - but when you DO, then nothing but good things can eventuate from its fruition, no matter how hard the journey there might be.

Even if we have a dream in our heart, it is not meant to STAY there. It is meant to be SHARED. You’re NOT alone on your journey to bringing it about. And if you have a dream, YOU cannot wait for Him to just “do it” for you - YOU must get out there and DO it yourself. YOU need to build the foundation, start the framework of your masterpiece, find the tools to help you, the people who will build with you, make the final decisions on anything important. He might place a dream there, or it might be OUR dream, born from the passion He instilled in us, but it is up to US to ultimately DO something about it.

I don’t know what my future holds. But I know what I WANT it to hold. I know what my heart HOPES for it to hold. And I know what I must do to get there. The journey is not going to be easy by any means, but it is one that I am WILLING to take, obstacles I will run THROUGH, chase away any shadows of doubt with the light of belief. Whatever happens, I know that He is looking out for me, that if my dreams are in line with HIS dreams for me, then there is an incredibly amazing and wonderful future ahead of me, beautiful and BLESSED and well WORTH waiting for.

SOUL LONGINGS

Your soul longs to SHARE the world with someone, whether you are conscious of it or not. It longs to experience the wonders and delights of being ALIVE with a soul that desires similar – if not the same – to its own. It longs to walk up the mountain of life with their twin soul, a COMPANION, knowing it is not alone in the vastness of the universe. It longs for someone – or something – that will ACTIVATE the passion inside it and bring OUT the sparkle, make its light shine BRIGHTER, increasing the depth and breadth of it, filling it to OVERFLOWING so that it can share that passion and light with others.

Your soul longs to SHARE adventures with someone. It longs to laugh and love as it lives WITH a soul that makes it smile – sometimes for simply no reason other than it is there – and remember how GOOD life is. It longs to bring JOY to the life of their twin soul, HAPPINESS so complete that both souls might wonder how they had been alive all the time without the other. It longs for someone – the right one – that they can help GROW, a MUTUAL respect and understanding, sharing the same dream and vision, moving TOGETHER towards a future that holds more than they could possibly imagine.

Your soul LONGS to share itself with another. A soul that ACCEPTS it where it is at now, non-judgemental about its past, hopeful about its future, and WITH it in the present, realizing just what it has been through, understanding where it wants to be, and how it is a BLESSING now. When your soul discovers that other soul, it understands in its depth that everything is RECIPROCAL and strives to bring out the BETTER part of its twin, giving what it can with love and desire, accepting with a smile the gestures of comfort and care, knowing that God always gives gifts with a purpose, and that it is where it is right now because it is MEANT to be.
