THE COIN

The ground beneath you is unstable, threatening to collapse beneath you, but you have NO fear because you know that it NEEDS to for you to rise to the NEXT level of your life. Your eyes are OPEN to see the outstretched hands above you, knowing now that there ARE those who care and WANT to see you move FORWARD in your life, who want to walk WITH you through life, not because they want something from you, but because they SEE you and “get it”. They get WHO you are and understand where you have been, knowing where you are GOING, desiring to be a part of the NEW life that God is opening up and creating for you to step into.

You need no one to tell you what you want, because you suddenly REALIZED it, waking one morning to find that everything had CHANGED, that little voice in your soul whispering truths you had until now tried to deny to yourself, thinking that if you ignored them, they would go away and be less real, but now, knowing that they are NOT, nor wanting them to disappear, READY to allow them opportunity to GROW and FLOURISH in your life, the one you are stepping INTO.

You know now that you are NOT alone. You know now your HEART. You know now what you SEEK in your future. You know now that you are READY. This is YOUR time, to take a chance on something you would never have risked for before, to give yourself more room to GROW and OPEN your soul to the wonders He has waiting for you. There is no better time than NOW. LISTEN to that inner voice, ACCEPT and reach for those outstretched hands, and LET yourself live life the way you were always INTENDED to.

There’s a world within a world and that world is you. And within that world are many more: dreams, each one a different path, alternate reality to this world, even as they are not. For while we dream and some are meant to be nothing more, there ARE some that sit so strongly on our soul to simply be "just dreams" - things we have carried within us from our very first lifetime, ever since we can remember in this one.


We may have let them slip and sink into the swirling kaleidoscope of our (sub)consciousness, but they have never been far from the surface, rising always when we seek out soul for our true heart’s desire(s). It could be that you were afraid to “let” yourself have that dream, of what it would mean, how it would be, if you actually HAD everything you truly desired, but now you can acknowledge that "fear" and see it for what it is, realizing that while you wanted it, you may have not been "ready for it" before.


But you are NOW (and you ARE going to make it happen, bring that dream out of your inner world into the physical one). It has been a long road to this place, but that one dream – the one that would mean more than anything else in the world, that ever has or could be, if it “came true” - you KNOW is also your true purpose; your gift, your “calling”. You know it because when you let it "slip", feeling unable to give voice to your soul, how much darker is the darkness [even if the darkness assists in "birthing" that voice]. But it has all come to this, everything felt over the last six months finding clarity each time you assert this dream, and you know you cannot “wait” any longer.


Life has often felt like I am dreaming, even though I know I am awake. The adult in me knows that life is not a dream we are living, but the child in me refuses to accept that our life cannot be a dream lived. Dreams and reality infuse this world and nothing is impossible when worlds exist within worlds, and more than we can fathom in those worlds we do NOT see.


Life CAN be a dream – YOUR dream – if you truly want it to be. I have to BELIEVE.

THE FUTURE


We don’t know what the future holds. We cannot predict it. But - we CAN HOPE for it. We CAN TRUST in His promises and have Faith that He knows what He’s doing, the way He’s moulding our circumstances - turning negatives into positives, fears into dreams, failures into opportunities - so that we can have nothing but the BEST. He ALWAYS has something WAITING for us, even if WE make the choices that might eventually take us AWAY from those things. After all, we DO have FREE WILL, the power of CHOICE, and what we do is not always in line with what He would want us to do. But, it IS our life, and we HAVE that grace.


We do not have dreams in our hearts for NO reason, so if you have one that CONSUMES you, then know that it is there for a PURPOSE. You might not know what for - and if you do, then more power to you - but when you DO, then nothing but good things can eventuate from its fruition, no matter how hard the journey there might be.


Even if we have a dream in our heart, it is not meant to STAY there. It is meant to be SHARED. You’re NOT alone on your journey to bringing it about. And if you have a dream, YOU cannot wait for Him to just “do it” for you - YOU must get out there and DO it yourself. YOU need to build the foundation, start the framework of your masterpiece, find the tools to help you, the people who will build with you, make the final decisions on anything important. He might place a dream there, or it might be OUR dream, born from the passion He instilled in us, but it is up to US to ultimately DO something about it.


I don’t know what my future holds. But I know what I WANT it to hold. I know what my heart HOPES for it to hold. And I know what I must do to get there. The journey is not going to be easy by any means, but it is one that I am WILLING to take, obstacles I will run THROUGH, chase away any shadows of doubt with the light of belief. Whatever happens, I know that He is looking out for me, that if my dreams are in line with HIS dreams for me, then there is an incredibly amazing and wonderful future ahead of me, beautiful and BLESSED and well WORTH waiting for.

JUST BE HAPPY


JUST BE HAPPY. It can be a “hard” thing to ask sometimes. Especially of those who seek it. Yet only when we understand that happiness is something that cannot be sourced OUTside of ourselves and that it can only occur when we allow ourselves to be completely IN the present, can we truly BE happy.


The world can be falling apart. The most terrible and traumatic things can be happening. The circumstances we find ourselves in can seem out of control and beyond our own. The events occurring can be testing and questioning everything we ever believed in and thought we knew. Yet through it all we CAN be happy.


“Happy” is not just for when life is “perfect” and wonderful and full of love and light. It is not just for when things seem to be working in our favour and we are blessed beyond imagining. It is not just for when we find ourselves smiled upon and sought out for recognition of achievement. It is not just for when we think life could not be any better.


Being happy is not reserved for the “good” times only and one CAN find and be happy during the “bad” as well. Being happy is about being fully aware of who YOU are and ACCEPTING that you are at whatever point you are in your life. It is believing whatever is within your control you CAN change and trusting in Him for the rest. It is knowing that you are NEVER alone even if it might seem like it. It is being completely in the PRESENT and giving yourself permission to take joy in the moment of even the simplest things.


Being happy is not conditional. It does not require everything to be “just right”. It does not have to wait for everything to “fall into place”. It can be whenever and wherever. YOU can be happy at ANY moment. It is a choice like any other. A simple shift in mindset.


You “need” nothing to be happy. You just need YOU. HERE. NOW. Do it for YOU. JUST BE HAPPY.

There is a new lifetime dawning. Always. One page after another of blankness waiting to be written. Waiting for you. Your future. It matters not what has gone before. What has been is past. Let the cobwebs go; brush them off. Look out the window at the vast expanse open to you. Everything is available. You can leave this dusty prison. Step outside the shadows into the light. Live in colour instead of black and white. Dream and believe again. Leave your hauntings behind. Buried; where they belong. Perhaps never forgotten, but at peace. That is how you begin writing new life into your story. Create a fresh future.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

TODAY

The world is alive with vibrancy. It beats with life and hums with joy. There is delight to be found everywhere. You need to OPEN your heart and KEEP it open; hold onto the love you have seen, the beauty discovered, the truth revealed, and realize that it is not just for a moment or an hour or a day, but a LIFETIME. It exists for an eternity, however long for you that may be. It exists for you and you must never stop believing that. You must never stop hoping. You must never stop dreaming. You must always remember.

And as you do, remember that YOU are one of those things of beauty, of wonder, of value, of delight, and not just for a moment, but ALWAYS. You always were and always will be, whether your eyes “see” it or not. You are worthy of love and life and everything you have ever wished or hoped for. You are wonderful, a beautiful mess of humanity deserving of love and life and acceptance, and YOU need to be the one to START the process – it must first come from withIN for you to truly fully embrace it and allow it.  You yourself need to “take” it, because you know now and you cannot UNknow it once realized.

You have to take it and understand it. Dissect it if you must, but take it and nurture it and watch it grow, the bloom of self-love, so that you never stop feeling alive, the way you never want to stop feeling alive; your smile real, your eyes sparkle, you the light instead of the night to those around you; the joy that infuses your world with melody; infectious exuberance. You must be the core, the seed that from it all springs.

He has planted you and waited patiently for you to stir beneath the earth. Now that you have stirred, the first shoots of green appeared, you can only CONTINUE to grow and spread and reach and touch the world around you. That seed must grow and bloom and push towards the surface and break it and BLOSSOM...

THE WORLD

The world is in the palm of your hands, yours for the taking, if you BELIEVE it. It is there, in all its magnificence and glory, with all the possibilities and potential, just waiting for you to grasp it. Waiting for you to decide the reality you want and take that first step towards making it, to chase the dreams in your heart like anything LESS than success is never an option.

And it’s not. Success is always the aim, “failure” ever only a learning curve, a stepping stone teaching you how not to do something. We can always learn, because there is never a point in our lives when we stop evolving, where we should cease striving for the stars that light our soul and keep us burning bright. The world, especially our OWN, is what we MAKE of it and we can choose the path we take.

What path do YOU want to take? What MESSAGE do you want your life to give? What will YOU choose to define you? Myriad questions swirling inside the mind, seeking answers and demanding ACTION, because only action creates momentum towards the world desired to manifest. Only action ultimately makes the intangible TANGIBLE.

The world can be built or destroyed in the palm of your hands. It can be as big or as small as you perceive. The impression you leave and difference you make can be as whimsy as a leaf in a storm or as indelible as a branded scar. Everything you dream, say, do, believe, all becomes a part of the world and the reality you find yourself living in, so make sure it is what you WANT.

ONCE UPON A TIME

Life is a MIRACLE. Life is a FAIRY-TALE. Life is a story that time tells and we CREATE through our decisions and actions. Life can be WHATEVER we want it to be if we are willing to believe that it CAN be. Life can be a dream come TRUE if we ALLOW it to manifest as our reality. Life can be everything we could ever want and so much MORE if we open our hearts and souls to the POSSIBILITY.

NEVER say “never”, for you never know when “never” can become a TRUTH right in front of you, lived by YOU in a life you might never have imagined for yourself. Life loves to SURPRISE you, so never give up hope and always have faith that it is so much MORE than what is SEEN, that endless potential and wonder lie in wait for you, for that moment when you least expect it.

ALWAYS dream. Always BELIEVE. Life IS a miracle and ANYthing can happen!

THE WARRIOR IN ME

There are many times this year when I have almost “given up”, said “fcuk it” and just disappeared into the world. Many times when I have wanted to throw everything away, hide from everyone and go where no one can ever find me. Many times when I have thought that what was coming at me was too much for my spirit to take after everything that had gone before. Many times when I have wondered if I walk alone and deserted in this world, faith the only thing to give me any comfort or knowing that it might turn out ok.

Something inside me was stronger than I thought. Something inside me didn’t want to disappear quite yet. Something inside me knew with a quiet confidence that I could handle whatever was happening. Something inside me accepted that even if I was destined to walk alone, I was strong enough and capable enough to do it.

I am still here. I am still FIGHTING. I am still giving it EVERYTHING I can. I still BELIEVE!

There are many things in this world that we do not or will not ever understand, but I have faith that no matter what happens, it can only force us to become BETTER than we are, to prepare us for what is to come, to make sure we are as strong as possible to prevail and succeed!

Remember that there is a Warrior in each of us. A Warrior who will NOT run, who ROARS at adversity, who revels in the challenges life throws at us, steadfast in the position they hold in the world.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BE A STAR

Have NO fear in being DIFFERENT. Have NO apologies for wanting what YOU want. Have NO qualms about walking ALONE from the rest of the world determined to be the same. Have NO hesitation in standing OUT.

To accomplish YOUR dreams, sometimes you HAVE to walk APART. Sometimes you have to go where no one else is WILLING to go. Sometimes you have to bear the criticism and condemnation from lack of understanding and judgement of those who are too scared to venture outside the bounds of comfort and possibility in their OWN lives. Sometimes you have to be the one who makes others BELIEVE.

To be a STAR, you have to do your OWN thing. You have to do what it TAKES when you are the only one who is willing. You have to hold onto your faith in your determination to see it through to the END. You have to be the LIGHT in the darkness of the world and let others see you for the miracle that you are.

A star is a MIRACLE. YOU are a miracle. Not everyone believes in miracles and YOU are the one who might CHANGE that perception. Be who you ARE and DO what you do and walk your OWN path.

Shine a light for OTHERS in the darkness and let them know that fear is NOTHING. Let them know what is POSSIBLE. Let them know that dreams are not JUST dreams and can become REALITY if they truly desire it. Be the one who makes that DIFFERENCE.

BY FAITH

By faith GREAT things can be done. For all great things start as a DREAM. And for a dream to manifest as reality it has to be BELIEVED that it can BE. It has to be believed BEFORE it can be seen. It has to be believed, and to be believed there has to be FAITH in the soul and heart and mind of the one holding the dream.

By faith MIRACLES are created. For all miracles are called thus because they are feats deemed “impossible”. Yet they happen. Daily. They happen because there are those who REFUSE to accept that nothing is NOT possible and strive to attain that which others dare not even reach for. They BELIEVE in something more powerful than simple action. They have FAITH.

By faith we LIVE. Life continues to hold HOPE and possibility, beauty and MAGIC. There are wonders waiting to be experienced, journeys waiting to be taken, love waiting to be found and treasured, precious moments waiting to become priceless memories. Everything is out there, seen AND unseen, held on faith that it exists for US.

By faith. We were. We are. We will be. Breath. Hope. Life. Everything. “The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” By faith we live and aim for our “perfection”, the culmination of purpose and passion as we become everything we desire and were always meant to BE.

TRUE FRIENDS

That's what true friends are for: When one falls, the other reaches down to help them up. When one struggles, the other encourages them on. When one has an off day, the other motivates them along. When one loses their smile, the other is there to lend theirs.

They share the journey of life together with its ups and downs, highs and lows, joy and sadness, happiness and pain, love and loss, always there for one another, no matter what. That's what true friends do.

True friends are rare and if you have them, hold them close to your heart, as precious as gems that take a lifetime to find, for that's what they are. They help bring out our inner light, the sparkle in our eyes, the hope in our heart, the faith when we can't find it on our own.

I would rather a few true friends than many "friends" whose value in my life is meaningless, because I know what I am to someone else and what I have when I have another as such in my life.

CHASE YOUR DREAMS

YOU HAVE DREAMS. You’ve always had dreams, some since forever and have never ever changed. Some you never had before, but were awakened within by the touch of another soul against your own, realized with a start, but then acknowledged and accepted and now held most precious of all.

The dreams you always had – these are what you have spent a lifetime working towards, so hold onto them, for they were not placed on your soul without purpose. CHASE THEM. Do one thing every day that will take you ONE STEP CLOSER to their achievement.

The dreams that were startled from slumber – these are the dreams that have sustained you in recent times, when you discovered that smile in your soul again. CHASE THEM. FIGHT FOR THEM with everything you have and DO NOT EVER give up on them.

You want your life to “close” without regrets. You don’t want to wonder “what if?” So chase your dreams - ALL of them. There is ALWAYS hope and if you still believe in your dreams, KEEP THEM ALIVE. LIVE your life TOWARDS your dreams until your life IS your dream.

BELIEVE

Believe in your soul that He only wants the BEST for you. Believe in your heart that dreams DO come true. Believe in your mind that you have only just BEGUN your journey to happiness. Believe with your eyes what a GIFT has been given you.

Believe and never stop believing that GOOD things DO happen. Miracles ARE real and they are EVERY day. He only wants to BLESS you with what you deserve. To TRANSFORM your soul so that you are ready to become the person you were intended to be. The person who will change the world where you are, little by little, piece by piece, touching the lives of those around you, to make what different you CAN.

Believe in your soul that you are destined for GREATNESS. Believe in your heart that you CAN achieve anything you want. Believe in your mind that such joy as you desire is NOT out of reach. Believe with your eyes that the one standing before you is REAL.

Believe in the DREAM you find yourself walking in. Life CAN be a fairy tale is you open yourself up to the possibility. ANYthing is possible for the one who believes with everything they are, giving all they have, willing to step out one more time on the glass ledge and risk that they hold most precious. For NOT to risk is to potentially miss out on the greatest blessing that He ever intended for you to have.

Believe. ONE simple word. So much FAITH. BELIEVE and NEVER stop!

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

WHAT YOU REALLY LOVE

Your HEART can be deceived. Your SOUL canNOT, for it is your TRUE core and the essence that senses the heart of a matter. If there is a “passion” in your heart that does NOT stem from your soul, then there is a likelihood of that passion being false. When you seek within yourself, work back to the “root” of a passion and find it lodged deep in the crevices of your SOUL THEN you can know that it is “true” for you.

When your passion is TRUE and you follow it with all that you are and have, you canNOT go “wrong”. Your INTUITION was designed like a “compass” to guide you in the “right” direction for your life, and that direction should be determined by your SOUL.

When the love you have for something is lodged so deep that to remove it would be to remove a part of yourself, do NOT hesitate in FOLLOWING it, chasing after it to see where it “leads”, traversing whatever journey your life sets out upon in its pursuit. When you follow your TRUE heart, the passion in your soul, that which you love without compare, you will not go astray, because that passion would NOT be if it was not MEANT to be.

2013 | Day 11: LEAP OF FAITH

LEAP OF FAITH

Life is like taking a leap of faith. You never know what the next step you take will bring, what is over the chasm you just leapt over. You have to trust that your instinct and He will lead you true, that you have support on the other side of whatever obstacles are in your way. You have to believe in yourself, in your ability to be able to chase your dreams as far as you can, and then follow the path wherever it may lead you. You have to have faith that the journey you are on is the right one, that you are heading in the right direction and if you are not, that there are people in your life who care about you enough to set you on the right course.

Life is beautiful. It is an endless world of potential and possibilities. It is dreams stretching far beyond your imagination and into the heavens. It is a place of wonder and miracles and being surprised every day by something new and amazing.

Life is just like taking a leap of faith. You take it because you believe. You take it because you have to, knowing that if you don’t, you’ll just stay in the same place, and life is not about staying in the same place, but about moving forward and on with your life, in the direction you are set, in the pursuit of becoming the best version of you that you can possibly be.

2012 | Day 354: PRETTY AMAZING

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

PRETTY AMAZING

OPEN your eyes to the world you live in. Open your HEART to the blessings you have been given. Allow the WONDER of everything to seep through your soul.

Think of the MIRACLE of life. Think of all the POSSIBILITIES that exist. Know that you are BEAUTIFUL in this world filled with ugly.

Believe that everything happens for a REASON. Believe that you CAN make a difference. Embrace the experiences that life has given you and the love you are surrounded by.

He knows your heart. He knows your mind. He knows infinitely more about you than you could possibly fathom.

When you open yourself to the fullness of everything, open your mind to the potential of anything, and open your soul to believe in the glory of Him and all you have and are, you will see that life truly is pretty AMAZING. REVEL in that knowledge, that feeling, the emotion evoked in the core of your being. Revel in it and LIVE it – an amazing life!
