MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

WATER & FIRE

Water and fire are both powerful elements. Some might say they are “opposites”; whereas others could argue that they both exist as “complements”, since water can kill fire, but fire can also heat water so much that it evaporates, or even, when frozen, become free flowing.

Both water and fire have fluid motion. In their “natural elements” they move seamlessly, easily, water spreading as far as oceans can reach and further, fire dancing to its own heart and beat with little thought to how it travels or is perceived.

We should be both. Carry elements of both “character” in our soul: Desiring to be able to touch as many and as much as possible, to create and inspire as much change and difference as possible; conscious and unconscious thought becoming awareness in the lives of those around us, as it is in self.

Two “beings” inside a single soul; two “faces”; two sides; both every much a part of that soul as the other, although not always perceived the same or by everyone observing such soul. Smooth and as easy as water gliding through life or as ferocious and fiery as fire burning defiantly.

Both water and fire, both graceful in their own different way, beautiful in the way that each can only be, existing not because they have been given permission, but because they “are”. Cold and hot they “live” and change, “evolving” depending on their environment, but always staying true to their essential nature.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BURN BABY BURN

Burn for everything you’ve ever loved. Burn for the passion that beats within you that cannot be extinguished. Burn for the purpose that few can or will ever understand you live for. Burn for the reasons that make sense sometimes only to you and cause you to feel alive. Burn for the sheer enjoyment of having been through everything you have and come out the other side of the fire fiercer and stronger and more powerful than ever before. Burn for His glory and let the world see the light of your flames and be inspired by your story. Burn because there is nothing greater than being an example of the living light that can motivate others into sparking their own flames alight and igniting a wildfire charged with positive change and passion. Burn with everything you are. Burn because there is no other way to live than ON FIRE!

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

LIVE YOU

There are infinite possibilities inside you, endless potential that even you might not be aware of. You are an incredible masterpiece, with your own melody and vibrations, a composition no one can ever successfully imitate or copy. There is greatness within and surrounding you and you just need to let yourself BE and LIVE it, no matter the present, because the present is in a constant state of flux and you with it. When you just do YOU and focus on doing what you do best, knowing or not the next step of the journey, your action in faith is the catalyst that sets in motion the process that will bring you to the intended vision. You are part of a vision, an irreplaceable part, one that may not always be seen or recognized, which is ok, because you dance to your own tune and have a rhythm unlike any other, and it is only BECAUSE of your confidence in such knowledge that enables you to be. Believe in the process, trust in the vision, and continue to do what you feel in your soul and know in your heart to be your truth, for everything matters, action and reaction.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

MOVE FORWARD

Moving forward is a CHOICE. You can say, “But I’m not sure what to do” or “I don’t know if it’s the right thing”, but at the end of the day there is always going to be some uncertainty and trepidation about stepping out of your comfort zone and entering an area that might be alien to you. Sometimes it takes time to set things in motion and plan, but once you know you SHOULD, you need to move forward as soon as possible, for your own wellbeing.

You do not have to know everything about everything in your “new” circumstances. Sometimes there is going to be a lot of unknown until you actually take that first step of faith, the “trigger” that propels revealed “knowledge”. Not everything is always going to be completely 100% “this is what is going to happen and this is how it will be” though and that’s ok. You do not have to have it all planned in order to move forward.

You know when it’s time. Your SOUL does. You have known for quite a while. And sometimes you wait a while before acting because you are unsure and don’t want to be “impulsive”, having “security” before moving forward. But the truth is that there is never truly ever going to be “security” in anything and therein lies the beauty of it all. Life is a journey, an experience, a “great unknown” and you will never find out if you do not take the risk.

LISTEN to your soul, those whisperings that linger and never cease. Sometimes those persistent and insistent murmurings are the gentle nudge of God, wanting you to leave where you are because there is nothing left for you there or something “better” for you elsewhere. What and where and when may yet not be completely clear, but the longings in your soul and the tugs at your heart are not without reason or purpose.

Some things you cannot plan. Some things you can only know and experience by DOING. Sometimes the greatest and most memorable moments in life are the ones that catch you unaware and might never be able to be if you do not take that first step FORWARD when you feel instinct move you. Have faith that there lies ahead for you great and wonderful things. Trust your instinct and Him and know that you do NOT have to have it all figured out to move forward and on with your life.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BE STRONGER

There is strength and then there is STRENGTH. One is seen and one is DONE. True strength is not always seen but exists despite anonymity, persevering because the one who bears it KNOWS and that is all that truly matters.

There are days when you wake and wonder what and why. There are moments and events and circumstances where understanding eludes you. Regardless, “strength” keeps going, keeps moving forward, no matter the pace, because it trusts in something bigger than can be seen.

Every day holds potential for GROWTH. Everything is “designed” to make us stronger and better equipped to “deal” with whatever may come. Accept that, embrace it, and just keep on doing “you” the way it is “right” in your soul.

True strength needs no recognition, even as it empowers and inspires, albeit not always even knowing it. Regardless of anything external, know yourself and be at peace with it, letting your life be your “example” and your actions be your “words”.

YOU ARE YOU

There are so many people willing to tell you who they think you should be and what they think you should do. IGNORE them. The ONLY person you should be listening to when it comes to who to be is YOU. YOU are the one who lives with your SOUL. YOU are the one who has to live YOUR life. YOU are the one who has to like who YOU are. Because YOU are the one who has to live with you ALL the time and be ABLE to.

In this day and age, being “different” is either sin or celebrated, hated or adored, as “fads” come and go and society changes on a whim. Regardless, who you ARE is NOT a “fad”, and unlike fashion, which “trends”, with often only the “highest” in society showcasing it, YOU are ALWAYS “in style” and NO one else will EVER be able to “be” you, no matter how hard they might try to, once they see you and realize just HOW special and precious your “one-of-a-kind” is.

You are “YOU”. Simply “YOU”. There is no other “label”; no way to describe you aside, because there are no words that can explain the depths and facets of the ever evolving creature that you are. One can only understand once they have known you, a privilege rare few have ever truly been allowed, but that more in the future will be given the chance to, albeit an opportunity still only “offered” a special select, because, even though the world now knows “of” you, you are careful whom you “share” yourself with.

The world will call you many things. Crazy. Mad. Genius. Dreamer. Weird. Strange. Different. You should be FLATTERED. You stand OUT. Everything the world “calls” you because you are YOU is what makes you IRREPLACEABLE. Everything about you, from your flaws to your quirks to your mind to your heart and soul, is BEAUTIFUL. And it is the greatest PRIVILEGE in the world to “simply be you”; as you are, without requiring explanation. Accept it. Embrace it. Love it. Be it. Be YOU.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

LOOK FORWARD

“Change is good.” So said someone dear to me today. And they are 100% right. Change IS good. And it IS time for change.

Time to change not just the way we look, but HOW we look and WHY. Time to change the mindsets that “guide” and “drive” us. Time to change the angle of perception we have on and in the world. Time to change the very nature and core of our health and wellbeing.

Change is not always instant and my mindsets have been challenged as I’ve asked myself some hard questions over the last few weeks. Everything though, ultimately comes together, to create something that sometimes seems “overnight”.

The wonderings, pondering, musings, have all allowed the door to the past to be completely shut, all the locks changed and the keys thrown over cliffs no one would dare venture over to get. And that’s the way it SHOULD be. Because life is all about living it FORWARD.

There is so much to look forward TO. Mind refreshed and being renewed. Eyes “turning” and being refocused. Soul quieter and being restored. Prepared and making changes, moving life FORWARD.

KEEP GOING

No matter what is going on in your life right now, the emotions coursing through you, the feelings surprising and confusing you, the people in and out, the overall kaleidoscope of everything, KEEP GOING. Remember, it’s ok to break down or have your moments, but you HAVE to pick yourself up and put it back together, because there is NO other option. It’s human to “fall” and “break”, experience highs and lows, but it’s WARRIOR to KEEP GOING, building strength and character in determination and action in moving forward even when we are not quite sure where we are heading.

ENERGIES

Our “circle” is so very important, for those we choose to allow close and call “friends” are those whom will affect us the most, for we “choose” those who not inspire us, but accept us for who we are and encourage growth of our complete being, those souls who “call” to our own and echo the desire and passion we have for life. The “spark” of the company of such souls is palpable and the energy is contagious to everyone in the immediate vicinity. You have the power to change the “vibe” of an environment and those in it have the ability, if you allow it, to change your mood and the way you feel in such a place at that time.

Those friends so dear enough we call “family” and the contact we maintain on a habitually regular basis should be with those who are only going to push you higher and further than even you might be able to imagine, who will challenge your mindsets and thinking in ways that deepen your involvement with life and way of living, and bring out the passion inside. It is said that “you become like the people you spend the most time with”, so make sure you “choose” wisely, but also ensure that in the doing YOU are one of those souls YOU would want to spend time with. Be the example you would want to “look up to”, the difference you want to “see”, and the energy that can “set souls on fire”!

DREAM IMAGINE CREATE

Dream at every age and in every aspect of life. Let your imagination run rampant and colourful without reservation. Pour your soul into your life and create fantasies in your reality. Always share the mad genius that dwells inside your mind. When you give yourself permission to just be YOU and infuse your heart into everything you do, wherever you go, with whomever you are with, you inspire simply by the passion of your soul and the energy that it radiates.

What would life be without that passion? Passion to dream and imagine, create and share that which is most precious and dear to us. Passion inspires the soul to live, to want to live and can give reason to go on when one might want to stop. Passion reminds us WHY the freedom and beauty of life and love can be worth the effort such desires place in us. Passion evokes emotion, longing to express and feel safe wherever it is placed or found.

One cannot dream withOUT passion. There is no creativity without excitement and desire to make a change in the world, a difference even to a single soul. There is nothing less than bold where passion is concerned and nothing less than bold will be the vibrant energy that captivates to inspire, for it will be felt before it is seen, and when it is seen, it can change everything. So let your imagination run wild, the way you ran as a child along the beach and know that you are as endless as the universe.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

INNER SPARKLE

NEVER give someone the opportunity to dull the light that glows inside you. Surround yourself with those who will only fan the flames of the fire that burns and make the soul inside sparkle BRIGHTER than ever. Because when you sparkle, those AROUND you begin to sparkle too. Your energy is CATCHING and can spread faster than imaginable.

It’s time to UNLEASH the potential in the world around you. But first the change must start with YOU. BE the example you wish to see. Be the DIFFERENCE you want to make. SET the standard for yourself and those you desire around you. Be the “trigger” that turns the glimmers in others into lights that shine in the deepest dark.

COMMITTED

EVERYthing you do counts for SOMEthing: A step forward or a step back; a smile or a frown; laughter or tears; progress or regression. EVERYthing you do should be to make you BETTER; constant desire to IMPROVE as an individual and in every facet of your life. For when YOU improve you unwittingly help OTHERS do the same.

What do you DREAM of? What do you THINK of? What ACTIONS are you making?

When you know what DRIVES you the DECISIONS you make become easy. For when you know what you want and you are COMMITTED to it 120% you do everything you can to make sure it HAPPENS. You operate at 212 degrees with EVERYthing you do.

"LISTEN"

You cannot help BUT know when you're with kindred spirits and free souls. For your OWN soul feels freedom and revels in the joy. It LIVES life breathing happiness and spreading light as it glows from the inside out.

THOSE are the people your life wants and needs to "walk with". When you’re together the world has no choice but to sit up and take NOTICE because there is a “magic” that happens in those moments. LISTEN to your instinct for it will always “lead” you true.
