BEST DAYS

You may have had some AMAZING days in the past – days that will always be memories that you look back on with a smile in your soul. You may have had some UNFORGETTABLE days in the past – days that will forever be imprinted so deep on your heart that you will remember even at the most random of times. You may have had some BEAUTIFUL days in your past – days that made you feel so full of love and hope and joy that when you reminisce you can almost taste those feelings all over again.

But . . . The BEST days of your life are yet to COME!

There WILL be MORE amazing and unforgettable and beautiful days in your life . . . In your FUTURE. Those days are going to be even MORE wonderful than the ones you have ALREADY had. Not because they have yet to be, but because they hold PROMISE of the future, of what that future IS and will be. They give you something to look FORWARD to, even as you live in the NOW and allow yourself to be fully present in the experience of TODAY.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

PAST AND FUTURE

Yes, you have a past – we all do, and whether it was not the most stellar, was completely memorable, or was noteworthy doesn’t make it any less real or special. Your past is where you have come FROM and does not indicate where you are GOING; it does not control who and what you BECOME – that is all on YOU. YOU determine your future; you determine what events you set in motion to eventuate or come to fruition at a later date – the ACCOUNTABILITY lies with YOU.

Your past tells the story of where you have BEEN, of the strength and power of your convictions and beliefs, highlighting the path that has moulded you to this point – for some it’s extreme; for others it is simply waking up to realize what life is truly about; for others it is about testing themselves and pushing boundaries. For you to be where you are right now, you should have a sense of PRIDE that you have OVERCOME your past, not allowing it to determine your POTENTIAL and SUCCESS.

There is power in the past – IF we let it, for it is what has gone before and not what is to be. There is power in the present – in the POTENTIAL for the future, in the hope and faith in our hearts. There is power in the future – in the PROMISE of what lies ahead, the DIFFERENCE we can make, and even the successful should not be complacent, for the journey is not yet over, the path ahead unknown, to be determined, what we MAKE of it.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

THE FUTURE

We don’t know what the future holds. We cannot predict it. But - we CAN HOPE for it. We CAN TRUST in His promises and have Faith that He knows what He’s doing, the way He’s moulding our circumstances - turning negatives into positives, fears into dreams, failures into opportunities - so that we can have nothing but the BEST. He ALWAYS has something WAITING for us, even if WE make the choices that might eventually take us AWAY from those things. After all, we DO have FREE WILL, the power of CHOICE, and what we do is not always in line with what He would want us to do. But, it IS our life, and we HAVE that grace.

We do not have dreams in our hearts for NO reason, so if you have one that CONSUMES you, then know that it is there for a PURPOSE. You might not know what for - and if you do, then more power to you - but when you DO, then nothing but good things can eventuate from its fruition, no matter how hard the journey there might be.

Even if we have a dream in our heart, it is not meant to STAY there. It is meant to be SHARED. You’re NOT alone on your journey to bringing it about. And if you have a dream, YOU cannot wait for Him to just “do it” for you - YOU must get out there and DO it yourself. YOU need to build the foundation, start the framework of your masterpiece, find the tools to help you, the people who will build with you, make the final decisions on anything important. He might place a dream there, or it might be OUR dream, born from the passion He instilled in us, but it is up to US to ultimately DO something about it.

I don’t know what my future holds. But I know what I WANT it to hold. I know what my heart HOPES for it to hold. And I know what I must do to get there. The journey is not going to be easy by any means, but it is one that I am WILLING to take, obstacles I will run THROUGH, chase away any shadows of doubt with the light of belief. Whatever happens, I know that He is looking out for me, that if my dreams are in line with HIS dreams for me, then there is an incredibly amazing and wonderful future ahead of me, beautiful and BLESSED and well WORTH waiting for.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

THE SMALLEST STEP

You KNOW what you have to do. Your soul knows. It has known for a long time. It has been your heart that has been conflicted. It has been your mind “of two minds”. But not it’s TIME. It’s time to COMPLETELY take that step. To make that 100% commitment to be in with all that you are “no holds barred”.

You have tried to take that step before. You thought you HAD taken it. And you did. But for some reason you took it and then stepped BACK. Not only stepped back, but stepped back again and it caused your soul anguish and unrest.

You saw doors open when you stepped FORWARD. You saw the “light”. You saw changes begin to occur that you thought might have been an “illusion” even as you believed they could be real. When you stepped back there was a “hold” on all that. There can be NO more “holding”.

You know deep down what you MUST do. You know how NUMINOUS the emotions sweeping through your essence are at taking that step. And you know you really have “no choice” but to take it. Not if you want your life to mean something again and you to bloom and blossom.

It’s not always easy doing what you must. Sometimes it’s not even “the right thing”. Even as it is the “perfect” thing to do for YOU. Dig deep and remember that you’re NOT alone in taking that step. Hold tight to the faith you have never let go of. TRUST and BELIEVE.

Believe in YOURSELF. Believe in your FUTURE. Believe that GREAT things will come, even if there is a “waiting period”. Still your soul and remember that “everything for a reason” and even if you don’t yet fully understand that reason, know that your instinct will always “lead you true”.

So take that step. That single step. Take it and KEEP walking. FORWARD.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

SURRENDER

Sometimes we are better off NOT knowing. Sometimes we need to STOP seeking answers that serve no purpose but to destroy us a little more each day we wonder or discover the truth. Curious creatures that we are we want to know, but we do not always NEED to.

Sometimes closure is simply walking AWAY. It is letting GO and letting God, understanding that He does not do things withOUT reason and that even in pain the bigger picture means that whatever we are forced to leave behind will serve to prepare us for what is to COME. It will make us STRONGER in spirit, heart, and mind, reinforcing the areas of our soul that need to “carry” us through until that time when we will finally see the WHY in all of this.

Sometimes we must SURRENDER our thirst for knowledge and let the answers lie. We must become comfortable with the fact that we might NEVER know the reason for such senseless action and everything that does not make sense and conflicts with everything we know to be true (or thought we did).

Sometimes we must trust that He is taking us away from something that would have caused far more destruction had we REMAINED where we were and is leading us towards the future we were always meant to be walking. That trust can be hard to find when your world has fallen apart around you, but there is something in you far greater than any devastation you can stand in, and that faith will be the anchor that keeps you able TO stand, as many times as it takes.

Sometimes SURRENDER is the best option. It is not a choice we have to make, but in making it our soul might finally find some rest, as we release our desire to be in control of everything and just hand over the steering wheel to let ourselves be DRIVEN.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BIG

“BIG” is NOT out of reach. “BIG” IS in your future, If you WANT it to be. But first, you must “UNTRAIN” yourself from thinking that “great” is not for you. Because it IS if you desire it enough. And then, you must start to THINK “big”. Fill your mind with dreams – pluck them from your heart; it knows what it wants. Create dreams so big that it might look like it will take a “miracle” to achieve them. More importantly, BELIEVE in your dreams – with all your soul and heart and mind, for it will take ALL of you to accomplish the “impossible”. When your heart is set on a dream so “big” you cannot help but create the circumstances to MAKE it happen – you open up your life to opportunities you might otherwise have never taken, walk alongside those not in your “natural” element, sing a new song in your soul to the world. “BIG” is out there for everyone who has a dream and believes it CAN be done. When you think “big” and dream “big” and believe in “big”, in some way, shape or form, “big” cannot HELP but BE.

2013 | Day 18: RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING

RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING

Today is a NEW day. The sun will rise on a FRESH world. The stage opens on a DIFFERENT you.

Yesterday is GONE – look back only to LEARN from it and move FORWARD into your FUTURE. Tomorrow is not YET here – what you do TODAY will determine your tomorrow and you will not see the true effects of any IMPACT you make until then. Today is HERE – it is time to do something REMARKABLE and make it AMAZING enough to want to REMEMBER for a long time.

You have a chance to create new OPPORTUNITY. You have an opportunity to EVOLVE into a higher being. Your evolution has the POTENTIAL to inspire many others and CHANGE their lives.

USE today to make a DIFFERENCE. Let your smile LIGHT up the world around you. Make it ridiculously AMAZING!

TIME FOR CHANGE

There's always a time in everyone's life when they KNOW things HAVE to change - they canNOT stay the same anymore, being the way that they are, doing the things that they have done, being the person they have been. There is a trigger that signals "it's time to CHANGE" right NOW! Fear is a natural response to this trigger. So is excitement. We need to learn to see PAST the fear and MANAGE the excitement, to create a BALANCE of emotion and thought in the person that we are going to BECOME. Think not of what lies ahead with pessimism - instead see the beauty and the OPPORTUNITY in being able to REDIRECT your path and create for yourself a DIFFERENT future.

2012 | Day 366: A NEW YEAR

A NEW YEAR

The end of an era is coming to a CLOSE. It is time for a New Year to begin – to TURN the page on this chapter of life and start AFRESH. It is a time to see the ENDLESS possibilities stretched before you, the miracles just waiting for you to bring them ABOUT, the accomplishments with YOUR name already on them.

It is a New Year – a time of INFINITE possibilities and wonder, when you can RECREATE yourself and start over. It is time to begin to become the person you ALWAYS wanted to be, because you HAVE the power to, everything within you to be who you are MEANT to be. It is time to DECIDE who you ARE.

A New Year gives you opportunity to set out everything BEFORE you – before it is already half-way over and you wonder where the time has gone. It allows you to design a BLUEPRINT of what you want your life to BE and where you want it to GO. It shows you what needs to be done, to think about what TRULY matters.

A New Year is a time of CELEBRATION – passing of the old as you step INTO the new. It is a time to take hold of your destiny and determine your FUTURE, set rolling the ACTIONS that will have a domino effect in your life for either positive or negative. Choose to move FORWARD and become BETTER.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BE BOLD

Life waits for no one. It casts opportunities your way and if you don’t take hold of them, it snatches them away just as quickly. Sometimes though, it does not give you anything and you have to CREATE those opportunities yourself. You have to be BOLD in going after what you want - if YOU don’t, no one else will do it for you.

Be bold. In your pursuit of life, your pursuit of dreams, your pursuit of passion. Don’t be afraid of what you want. If you’re not given the opportunity, don’t be discouraged; know that there is ALWAYS a way. BELIEVE it.

Be bold. If you want something, it’s up to YOU to MAKE it HAPPEN! Don’t wait until it MIGHT happen for you - take the first step; reach out; use everything you have at your disposal, to find a way to make your desires a reality.

Be bold. When you are bold, you will find things start to happen for you. You find support and encouragement, sources of advice and information, people who can and want to help you. Doors open where before there may have been none.

Be bold. You’ll be surprised at what can happen. The journey might be difficult, with many obstacles placed in your path, but when you are driven to succeed, those obstacles just give you strength.

Be bold. The world notices DOERS, those who have a burning desire to ACHIEVE their goals, and even if it might not agree, it applauds them and provides means to aid in their quest. It might take time, but when you accomplish what you want, it makes everything worth it.

DREAMS EMPOWER THE SOUL

DREAMS EMPOWER THE SOUL, giving us the STRENGTH to SURVIVE even the harshest of circumstances, the most horrific of tragedies and the deepest despair, giving us HOPE for the FUTURE. Dreams empower the soul, because sometimes they are ALL we have, reminding us of what we DESIRE so DESPERATELY, giving us something to AIM for, even if conditions seem so very beyond the possible of the achievement of them at the time. Dreams empower the soul, for they make us BELIEVE, the faith in the hope in our hearts when we think of them a flame that BURNS FIERCELY in the recesses of even the darkest soul, because NO soul is without a dream, without something so precious that they cannot let go of it and would give anything to see it manifest. Dreams empower the soul, allowing us to see what we TRULY ARE in the spaces of echoes inside us, in the realms we might rarely dare to tread and search, seeking to PROTECT our HEART from that which could creep in and find them, bringing them to our consciousness, creating vulnerability we cannot bear to let anyone see or know of. Dreams empower the soul, providing us the COURAGE to be VULNERABLE to another, to be able to OPEN our HEART once it has been shattered and left scattered through time and space, to be WILLING to let someone else HELP us try to find the pieces and put us back together, to CREATE something NEW and BEAUTIFUL in its own way. Dreams empower the soul, so that we can FACE LIFE and live it WITHOUT FEAR of what may happen, EMBRACING what may come, knowing that things WILL happen and being ready for them, faith that they will only make us STRONGER and VALUE even more that we cherish, HOLDING TIGHT to those dreams, knowing that although they might only be a fantasy now, THEY ARE A FANTASY THAT WE CAN MAKE OUR REALITY.
