You never know when or where or with whom a "moment" will be created or felt. Sometimes it's just about keeping your mind and heart open to be ABLE to experience such moments and that wonderful sensation of truly feeling "alive". "Magic" can be found anywhere and everywhere, if you but "look" with the heart of a child and never let your inner spark go dark. Your world may not be for everyone, but you are meant for the entire world to see, glimmering and sparkling, and that can only happen if you let your soul FREE of that which might bind it and try to "keep" it. It's the LITTLE things that ultimately make the difference and become the "moments" we realize our life "pivots" on.

Your life is NOT yet over. There is STILL air in your lungs, even if sometimes they feel like someone has crushed them beneath the weight of the world. There is still hope in your heart, even if sometimes it feels as if you’re clinging to it by the MEREST of slivers. There is still faith in your soul, even if sometimes you wonder why and ask yourself what you are holding on FOR.

There is still LIFE in your life, even if sometimes you cannot see the way or know what the next step to take is. There are multitudes of POSSIBILITIES swirling around you, just waiting for you to open your eyes to see them for what they are; to see them standing there in front of you wanting you to see them, as you want yourself to be seen.

There IS love out there for you. It might have had folded arms and guarded smiles, but it IS there; as cautious as you because it has been hurt over and over, scars it wears proudly because it still has the courage to believe that it WAS meant for this life, beauty that only another soul who sings the SAME tune can see and appreciate.

Life is FULL of infinite possibilities. Endless opportunities call YOUR name. You could walk in ANY of myriad directions. You could traverse far MORE than one ocean. YOU could live a life of untold wonder and unimagined joy. You just have to SEE it. You have to realize it and understand that it IS there for you. You have to be OPEN to it. You have to step INTO it.

Taking that FIRST step is always the hardest. Walking AWAY from what you know for what you don’t is always apprehensive. Opening up your heart and soul again for something new is always a RISK. But all the risk in the world is WORTH it, because without it, you would never truly know what it is like to be blessed, to live happiness, to experience peace, to grow and evolve, and to REALLY live.

Those who inspire others often inspire, not because they are perfect, but because they are NOT. They have struggled and OVERcome insufferable odds, refusing to give up and stay down, living testimony to others that there IS hope. Their stories inspire because they are REAL people who lead real lives and yet manage to achieve "the impossible" when most would make excuses.

No life is "perfect", but things do not have to be "perfect" to be happy, successful, or blessed, and sometimes the way we "deal" with life and the things it throws at us "make" the inspiration others "draw" from. Even when they do not know your story, whether you want them to or not, are aware of it or not, the impression one might get can be powerfully influencing.

If one were perfect there would be NO inspiration, for there would be nothing "worthy" to admire. But when one is IMperfect and has no fear in admitting weakness, there is strength in that vulnerability, the risk to "expose" to scrutiny, for there is courage in such risk and willingness to let others see that "battle" and people relate to REAL.

Christmas is already well into back home, but barely just crept into right here. Whether there or here, with loved ones or in solitude, the spirit and significance of Christmas glows just as much as the smile thoughts of those loves cannot help but bring irrespective of presence, and light up energy like the brilliant golds or glistening blues of Christmas lights, beautiful in both summer and winter. Despite experiencing extremes in emotions with events since last Christmas past, being here in this moment, today, still breathing and fighting, means choosing to keep my heart and soul open, allowing such experience to create even more change and embracing new softness that now can be recognized more truly as strength. Taking it day by day, sometimes survived barely by that smile tucked away, even before this Christmas begins leaking sunrise into the world here, I choose to consciously continue allowing love, much like the sun during the day, to grow in strength and power of warmth and light. My wish and hope for all, even as day turns to night and leaves this Christmas behind, is that not only today but every one moving forward, will stay alight with the glow in the spirit of Christmas.

OPEN your eyes to the world you live in. Open your HEART to the blessings you have been given. Allow the WONDER of everything to seep through your soul.

Think of the MIRACLE of life. Think of all the POSSIBILITIES that exist. Know that you are BEAUTIFUL in this world filled with ugly.

Believe that everything happens for a REASON. Believe that you CAN make a difference. Embrace the experiences that life has given you and the love you are surrounded by.

He knows your heart. He knows your mind. He knows infinitely more about you than you could possibly fathom.

When you open yourself to the fullness of everything, open your mind to the potential of anything, and open your soul to believe in the glory of Him and all you have and are, you will see that life truly is pretty AMAZING. REVEL in that knowledge, that feeling, the emotion evoked in the core of your being. Revel in it and LIVE it – an amazing life!

Life is short and it is oh so very PRECIOUS. EVERY moment counts and every second matters. Everything you DO has cause and effect. Everything you SAY lingers in a heart or mind or time. Everything you ARE can change the world AROUND you...WORK on making the one YOU live in the way you WANT it to be as much as you can effect and have "power". As you strive to become the BEST you possibly can, encourage OTHERS to their potential alongside you, showing them that there is ALWAYS hope and NOTHING is "impossible"...LIVE life as you strive, ENJOYING the "moments" that will become memories,  GRATEFUL for the blessing of those kindred souls who journey with you and have come to mean more than you ever might have thought. As you open your heart and let your soul SMILE allow yourself simply to "be", EMBRACING all that you are and will become, INVITING the future and opportunity for GROWTH,  inspiring movement and momentum of vision...EVERYthing has a PURPOSE. Every "chance" is a gift given, a mystery to unravel, a wonder to behold, a blessing to be shared. Every NEW day is another day to unlock potential,  change in ways that might have once been unfathomable, experience the amazing in the "normal", make a DIFFERENCE as only YOU can. You know what: Life is short. TOO short NOT to chase your heart or take the risk on something or someone you can’t stop thinking about. Who cares what the world might think? It's YOUR heart, your happiness, your future, your POTENTIAL. So let loose your soul to dance in the rain and have companion souls join you, beside you or to their own tune, each of you creating a beautiful melody no one but those who “see” might understand.

If you want it, SAY so. Forget timidity or fear. Put aside "what ifs" and "buts" and set yourself out there where you can be SEEN. Yes, you might be vulnerable, but in vulnerability you open yourself up to an abundance of blessings you might never have thought could be.

You want to let your soul dance? Then LET it dance. And pull those you wish to dance with alongside you, feel the magic in the moment and make it last a lifetime not forgotten. Hold onto the moments granted, for you know not when they might be gifted again.

Life is too short to be spent in hesitation, wondering, wanting but never doing. Before you know it the moment could be gone and you never know if with it with it your chance for something great or “once in a lifetime”. So, LISTEN to your heart. OPEN up your soul and set it free to DANCE throughout your life with a smile in its step and a glow that spreads light wherever it reaches, rippling through life making the difference that only YOU can make.

STOP WARRING WITH YOURSELF

Life is but the passing glimpse of a history. It is a whisper on the winds of time. It is an echo in the halls of eternity. Every breath taken is insignificant to all that is immortal, even as every breath has significance.

Life is too short to spend it wasting time. It is too short to be at odds with yourself. It is too short to be conflicted in your soul. It is too short to be your own worst enemy, always battling yourself, punishing yourself for every tiny mistake, those thoughts you berate yourself with, the perpetual torture of belief that you are unworthy of what life has and is giving you.

You have to STOP this war on yourself. You have to stop thinking of yourself as nothing of value. You have to stop crumbling your dreams into dust because you might be the only one who believes in them. You have to stop the wounds you are leaving on your own heart.

You have to start seeing yourself the way those who LOVE you see you. You have to start seeing the potential in you, acknowledge what you have done, and see that the future holds so much room for growth and more. You have to start seeing the perfectly imperfect and beautiful being that God created to fulfill the purpose that He has charged you and you alone with.

Life is too short to spend it at war with the world, let alone yourself. It is too precious to be spent, even unconsciously, in the painful present of destroying the happiness hidden in the depths of your heart. You were meant for greater things than this, so open up your soul, unbind your heart, and free your mind from all you have inflicted on it, and start seeing and believing in the miracle that you are.

And that means allowing yourself the freedom to simply be who you are. When you do that, life will open up in more ways than you thought possible. THEN and only then, will you know what living truly means.

THE SCARY CHOICES


Sometimes we find a dream in our heart that we didn’t realize was there, discovered during a period of darkness, or when someone or something completely UNexpected comes into our life and we are knocked out for the count. Sometimes those dreams can SCARE us beyond all imagining, something we never wanted or ever thought we could or would want, held in trepidation as we debate the decision whether or not to FOLLOW our heart in this matter.


Will we or won’t we? Will we step out and risk everything we know and have ever known for something OUTSIDE the scope of our experience and knowledge, so unknown that we feel helpless and lost in navigating our way through it? Will we choose to look BEYOND everything that could possibly go wrong on the journey, seeing instead the wonderful OPPORTUNITY that life is blessing us with, the dream we have denied our heart for so long?


Whether your mind acknowledges it or not, once you are AWARE of this dream, you can NEVER become UNaware, that dream becoming a PART of you, living and breathing with you, held capture in your heart, no matter how far down you may try to push it or try to deny its existence out of fear of what might happen IF you follow it. You’ll never know if you don’t give it a chance, if you don’t take the risk and put yourself out there, if you don’t DO.


But when you’re afraid and you just DO it anyway, that’s when you grow and open yourself up to new POSSIBILITIES, when your heart SINGS in the exhilarating feeling of not knowing but knowing and having FAITH that something WONDERFUL is going to happen. It’s not just persevering and desiring it with a force more powerful than you ever realized, but it’s making the choices that scare us the MOST, stepping into the decisions that you want so desperately but have never allowed yourself to consider a plausible reality, that CHANGE us the most and can be the BEST things we ever do, WORTH everything in the end.


Will YOU hear and HEED the call of you HEART and take the RISK, no matter how fearful you are, no matter how hard the path ahead might seem, to SEE where it takes you, to take the chance that it could be something that ENRICHES your life BEYOND anything else you have ever known? Will you be BRAVE and EMBRACE it, knowing that God would never have offered such an unexpected gift it He did not WANT it for you? WILL YOU?
