Sometimes closure is simply walking AWAY. It is letting GO and letting God, understanding that He does not do things withOUT reason and that even in pain the bigger picture means that whatever we are forced to leave behind will serve to prepare us for what is to COME. It will make us STRONGER in spirit, heart, and mind, reinforcing the areas of our soul that need to “carry” us through until that time when we will finally see the WHY in all of this.
Sometimes we must SURRENDER our thirst for knowledge and let the answers lie. We must become comfortable with the fact that we might NEVER know the reason for such senseless action and everything that does not make sense and conflicts with everything we know to be true (or thought we did).
Sometimes we must trust that He is taking us away from something that would have caused far more destruction had we REMAINED where we were and is leading us towards the future we were always meant to be walking. That trust can be hard to find when your world has fallen apart around you, but there is something in you far greater than any devastation you can stand in, and that faith will be the anchor that keeps you able TO stand, as many times as it takes.
Sometimes SURRENDER is the best option. It is not a choice we have to make, but in making it our soul might finally find some rest, as we release our desire to be in control of everything and just hand over the steering wheel to let ourselves be DRIVEN.

There are many people who have been and are part of our lives; some remain, but many are no longer. Still, there are those who linger on the outskirts, whom we know we should let go of and yet we cling to some memory of...It's time to LET GO. It's time to RELEASE any hold another soul has on your own and understand that no matter how much they mean or meant to you they canNOT be any longer. It is time to move FORWARD...EVERY person in our lives is a reason, season, or lifetime. It is time to acknowledge the reasons and to let the seasons pass, so that the lifetimes can flourish...Reason or season, those souls that have touched your own are no less "special" than the lifetimes; it just means that not everyone is meant to be a continuing part of your life story...All those who no longer have a role in our world we need to let go of gracefully, thankful for the blessing in having known them, hopeful that we in turn were able to be a valuable part of THEIR personal growth...

A CANDLE FOR YOU
In my heart I have lit a candle. That candle is for you. Loss is a part of life and everyone experiences it. Everyone deals with it in their OWN way. I will NOT mourn your loss, but rather CELEBRATE your presence in my life, the difference that it made, cherish the memories, to remember you with a smile. Having lit this candle means that I am letting go, or trying to, even as I remember every little thing that you brought to my life, the beauty and happiness, laughter and joy, the new dreams you sparked in my heart, and the wonder that you opened my eyes to.
You are gone from me and I cannot help you if you will not let me. Never forget that you will ALWAYS be a part of me, no matter where you have gone to, where your soul lies, in this world or the next. The loss of you is crippling, but it is one that I will bear with a smile even as tears saturate my soul. Even as those tears flood my heart I will NOT mourn your absence, for without having known you I would not be who I am today, would never have known what it was like to glimpse heaven, even if I was not allowed to touch it, and hold that hope in my soul, have that light to see me through the darkness.
The candle I have lit will always burn bright. It will always remind me of the wonder of you, the BLESSING. It is my way of dealing with your loss, this tragedy that no one could ever possibly know about. It is my burden to bear, even as it is not a burden, because it lights my heart with something I would never have had if not for my soul touching yours across the distance in the time that we had. This candle is my memory of you, the light of the love that nothing can ever replace or be dearer than, and allow me to move FORWARD with my life, thankful for such a gift to be left with.

Not because it makes me vulnerable. I have gotten past that. But because you are too much like me, the way I used to be, and that actually is a little "scary" for me. I did not let myself feel and eliminated all emotion even before I knew it existed, put up walls and barriers and no one got close, so much that I really never had awareness of myself or my heart until it was too late. But something changed to make me change that, for me to dare to bring down the barricade of ice and thorns that kept the world at a distance. And in being open I discovered more than I could have imagined for me. And you, you are like me, the me that I was, the one that pushes the one wanted the most, away, because it makes you vulnerable, and being vulnerable is not something you ever allow you to be, for being vulnerable opens you up to the possibility of being hurt, and being hurt means deep inner pain, unlike the physical pain you can brush off. It hurts me to know this, as much as it hurts me to try to let go of someone who my now open and strangely soft heart has so much care for, more than any before, and those that there were, rare even then, or now too. But you, you are the one who encompasses it all, nothing no other has ever managed before. So yes, I am vulnerable and I let myself be, because I love you more than I ever wanted to, and that is what "scares" me.

THE GEMINI WOMAN
The Gemini woman smiles as she falls apart. You hurt her and she moves on; she forgives, but she never forgets, and once her trust has been torn, it may as well be broken, because very few broken things in her world ever get mended, and she does not bother to fix many of them, having the attitude that some things are better broken than together. No matter how precious that trust once was to her, she will do her best to try and forget, even if she can’t, only because if she always remembers she allows it power to destroy her all over again; even as she appears strong and invulnerable to the world, her demeanour a mask of coldness and strength, her heart an icy stronghold that does not seem to have any holes in it, her mind closed with a passion of fury, even as icy and fury are nothing close to what is truly going on inside her. She will smile when she looks at you, take part in life with you, but there are tears in her soul, falling with every painful smile, every look in your eyes, every word she speaks, knowing that you do not know and do not want to know and will never know, just having your own perspective on who she is and why she does what she does. She knows that people do not want to know the truth of another’s soul and so she is a chameleon for every person that crosses her path, a different creature for every man, even as every face she shows is an aspect of her and not a genuine mask, for she is a woman with many personalities, like a diamond in how multifaceted she is; but also like a diamond, albeit rough at times, in how she appears and comes across, for not everyone will see her sparkle and shine, but only glimpse the promise of the beauty that she could be.

What happens though, when the reason your heart found to stay becomes the reason you need to or should leave? When the shift in energy, no matter how subtle, begins to no longer be a safe place for but cause distress to your soul. The sudden realization of hurt stinging from recent revelation of betrayal, learning loyalty not your own changes face when you stand true to those YOU call friend.
The past few days preceding this new Gemini supermoon have been dark indeed, heartbreaking in truths that can no longer be denied. When I think of how many have tried and who finally succeeded where all those had failed, how yes, people DO surprise you, but because time too changes more than the mere passing of days. It changes souls with what they do to survive, to where once they might have, now no longer align.
We must respect the journey; listen to our truth, for if we cannot, how can we expect others to? When it is time to let go, no matter how hard, we need to find the strength to say even if only silent goodbye to something or someone(s) it is splintering our soul to know we must leave behind. After EVERYTHING, surely this is not how it ends!

Change is intended to create and cultivate GROWTH creating circumstances which force you to reevaluate your life, so that you can see and let go of whatever might hold you back. Often, whether we are consciously aware of it or not, or want to admit it to ourselves, FEAR is one of those things: Fear of becoming even more vulnerable or letting it be known, of leaving a "comfort zone" because it may be the only thing familiar to us, even if we are very uncomfortable there and want a "way out", but being honest with ourselves that we have no idea of what to do or where to go next.
Growth IS uncomfortable and can make you vulnerable, because it is often made in the most intense situations which place us in a position where NOT reaching out to another may cause further devastation, but it is a huge step because trust can be so thin because of experiences preceding the "turning point" of honesty with yourself about what is happening. It takes a lot of courage to confide in another soul, especially when your history has almost always been alone or loyalty betrayed, but sometimes people DO surprise you and you may find more than just a glimmer of hope if you risk taking that uncertain step.
Risk can sometimes be the test of whether or not we are truly ready to move FORWARD, for without it, taking that step, making a decision that we have absolutely no idea where it will take us, there may never be real opportunity for growth. Sometimes we HAVE to take that first step of trust to begin to "see our way again", blurry as it may be, because it means we want to move forward no matter the cost, knowing that anything is better than merely existing like we have felt became a way for a while.
Even if you have almost always "traveled" alone, there are times when it is better for your own wellbeing, and essential for your increasing enlightenment, to welcome the company of another soul beside your own. And not just for you, but for that soul too, it may mean the first step in their journey of courage and risk, desiring to break free from all that keeps them immobilized, willing to let go of any and all fear, to begin the process of truly LIVING again.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY
Your life is but one in immeasurable threads in the tapestry of life and will touch more than you know, crossing over and under, between and through, even wrapping around others. In the same way, other threads will come in contact with your own, some wrapping tight around you to create a mess, albeit a beautiful mess. Yet no matter how much beauty in the initial entanglement, time has a way of revealing the true colour and nature of each thread, and should those that surround you dramatically or seek to forcibly change the unique vibration of your own, you must determine whether to stay and let the mess become an ugly ruin, extricate your thread as best you can, or cut it off and allow what was lost in the mess be as you start a new weaving in a different part of life's tapestry.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY
RELEASE
The smile that was glowing flickers a little and the spark that was becoming brighter suddenly whispers like a ghost in and out of time. Everything that was once so alive feels tired and before you know it days have turned into weeks. When you suddenly become AWARE that you have let that which once did not bother you creep inside and settle on your heart, you need to stop and take a moment.
Your soul longs for the sound of the waves upon the shore. Your body longs for the feel of the sand beneath your bare feet. Your heart longs for the PEACE that can be found in the solitude of losing yourself in the beauty around you and the sheer magnificence of something greater being born in the stillness.
Close your eyes and imagine. Let your mind wander along the shore, your dreams bold in planting their footprints in the sand, unafraid to splash through the waves, your smile and laughter unaffected and pure again. Let your soul out. Release all that which “holds you down” and give it up to the One who always knows and sees and has been waiting for you to UNDERSTAND.
Remember how it felt to be so “light”, the “glow” diffusing throughout your being, your aura “rippling” out like a wave in positive vibration. Remember the joy that turned even the most mundane things into “moments”. Remember the smile that lit you from the inside out so that even YOU noticed the change in yourself and wanted to be “out there” sharing the “happy”.
Sit back and close your eyes. Remember the emotion. Remember the feelings. Remember waking every morning and sensing that something wonderful was about to happen. Something wonderful WAS, because your soul was open and light and ready for anything. Go back to that time and let your soul relax as it releases everything clouding your colour, to once again be FREE.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
Sometimes it takes more than once; multiple “lifetimes” to create the best version of self that can possibly be, even as we continue growing and evolving with each “resurrection”. Every experience contributes to the being we are and become, but not everything is necessary to be taken “with” us into the “new” and there come times in our lives when we must leave behind all that was for all that will and could be. We must “release” the old so that the “new” can live in victory.
As a phoenix rises from the ashes of its own flames, having grown through burning “hell”, purified by heat and pressure like a diamond, so must and do we. Everything cold and dead or that no longer serves purpose in our lives with forward progression and momentum must be removed and let go of, the fire within that burns so bright separating itself from anything that would drag it down or hold it back from burning brighter and flying higher.
Find peace with your past, but let it shatter far beneath you as you rise on fiery wings to soar above the ocean, through the heavens, in the midnight sky, as another glowing flame spreading light in the darkness. Let everything ice burn and melt away with the heat of the passion and life that flickers and roars for freedom, and hold nothing back from the heat. Let the cold, hard prison that once “captured” you break as the fire burns it from the inside out, the world seeing the soul inside rise and shine.
Everything of “old” has been transformed; weakness become strength, with passion and heart renewed. The “new” has different feeling than what was, even if there are similarities in appearance, for the inner change, the evolution of soul, the spark that lights the fire now was created from the “death” of what “made” the new, the flames clean and bold and free from the dust and smoke of yesterday. Burn as you were always meant to, a living flame, as an example.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY
The night has passed in its darkness and all things hidden suddenly alight within it, words said and emotions wrought as a soul grasps itself together yet one more time. But yes, the night has PASSED and is no more. In that should be the same of what transpired within it: Let gone and let go and given to Him, for some things our soul should not bear if we want to stand unencumbered by chains of any kind, even those we might have once placed upon ourselves.
The day dawns, the fingers of light reaching across the sky reaching for you, to remind you that light pushes AWAY darkness and a NEW day has begun. A new day and a new time, giving you another opportunity to start fresh and claim it as your own, your life to walk forward in His grace and share YOUR light with the world.
As we grow in darkness, so too do we grow in light, and all that occurs in darkness will eventually be revealed in the light. Let not the darkness be the strength creeping in your soul, but take from it iron strength and indomitable will to mesh with the positive energy and healing love of the light.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY
NOURISH YOUR SOUL
Your SOUL is the most PRECIOUS part of you. It is the CORE of you. It is your HEART, your DREAMS, your LOVE, your LIFE. It is the ESSENCE of what makes you YOU.
Too often we allow our soul to become dusty or dirty. We bear with a situation or get burdened down with weight that creates such heaviness in our soul that sometimes we feel like we just want to close our eyes and sleep forever. Sometimes the pen we write our life with drips black ink that falls on our soul and creates a dark stain where once light shone through.
A life is NOT a life when our soul becomes too damaged. It is only HALF a life when our soul becomes so tired that it wilts instead of grows. It has a negative effect on not only us but those AROUND us, and that is NOT what we want to ensure.
If your soul does not get NOURISHED, like a flower that needs the sun, it wilts and eventually dies. You canNOT let that happen. So even if it hurts like hell, renders your soul in pieces for a time, sometimes we must REMOVE any aspects from our lives that would cover the light of our soul and prevent it from reaching for the sun.
Life is too SHORT to allow yourself to live it merely SURVIVING. It’s time to take a stand and “spring clean” your soul, everything that resides there, hidden or not, and determine whether its presence in your life has a positive or negative cause and effect. If it is NOT positive, allow yourself to let it GO. Allow yourself to begin to LIVE again.
