"Always tell someone how you feel, because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last for a lifetime."

"Try to find the beauty in each breakdown...Connect, connect, connect - with every ounce of who you are, with every inch of your patchwork heart...Please, just connect - because beautiful things are vanishing...Do not let your heart become one of them." - Bianca Sparacino

"I liked it best when he took control...he possessed me completely the way I belonged to him and he to me and this kind of power makes you beautifully vulnerable in ways that you show your true self. He was my safe place... I loved him because I could be me in every way others never see." - N.R. Hart

"You cannot worry about who is loyal, who is honest and who you should trust. Sooner or later, people will show you their true colors and when you get that sign, trust it. Trust your intuition and the vibe you get from them. You already know who to let in and who to keep out. Honor your energy with this." - Sylvester McNutt

"There is no such thing as a right way to have a relationship and a wrong way. The only thing that matters is that the two of you are doing things in a way that makes you both happy!"

"...we belong not only to a spiritual realm, but a physical realm...we all have at least one soul place in the physical world...a special site or spot where we experience unique feelings of belonging, empowerment and energetic rejuvenation." - Mateo Sol

Attraction rarely makes sense. I'm learning that. But if you look deeper, beneath what appears to be...to the souls connecting, maybe it does...

Not just there, though any more. My heart here, also calls "home". My soul too, with other souls. It feels peace, in some presence. It can quiet, where once not. Though still rare, it still can. That alone is, all the difference. Yet it does, yearn for this. The ocean waves, the beach beside. To walk along, to hear it. The crashing waves, soul song singing. Feel their mist, upon my skin. Taste salt air, breathe it in. All of it, I miss so. No matter where, I always will. As I miss, ALL called "HOME".

The first thing that popped out to me with this memory was the word "disconnect". Even the piece itself, the image I chose to accompany it, despite knowing how I felt and the event that caused the expression of emotion this was re words, immediately to mind came this sentence from Brene Brown's "Daring Greatly": "Even if we choose to stay out of relationships and opt for disconnection as a form of protection, we're still alive and that means vulnerability happens.". There is that word again - DISCONNECT[ion]. For some reason, even before the full moon last week (and seeing what had been written about what it "meant"), I had felt it on my soul to reread this book (the first time was back in 2015, when I bought it after the K-Do Alliance photoshoot, which was a true example encompassing a lot of what "daring greatly" is-another story), and opened it again that night. I do not believe in coincidences, and going through it again, with almost every part of it, something comes to mind of words exchanged or events occurred this year, moments and people so much as to that day or the one before in what reading "on", making me realize so much and speaking deep to my soul. Every time you read a book, you "see" something new or understand more or perspective re enlightenment changes, I believe (at least for me, and sometimes I see things that did not before, or the same things I highlighted in the past resound, albeit for different reasons), and this is no different. The difference though, is me; I am more AWARE OF ME than I was when I read this in 2015 (which was really only just at the beginning of my "awareness awakening", one might say the true cusp in discovery of "feminine bloom" and path to awakening the "goddess" that was later birthed in moonlight and started walking in and owning her power...but I digress)... EVERYTHING about now is making me look hard at myself, ask myself "why", as I challenge the "rules" (not what one might think, and certainly very different to societal expectations, particularly those re "norms" mentioned in this book) I had made for myself and dared think of what it would mean to "allow" myself a life that might include everything I had once created "disconnect" from. ESPECIALLY as this year started out so uncharacteristically, consciously choosing (even if unconsciously "daring greatly") to throw aside everything that I would normally have done for reasoning as simple and as complicated as "new year" and "time for change", etc. and being open to, that small but ultimately big decision snowballing through 2019 right up until this moment, the epitome of everything "DARING GREATLY" is about and on it speaks. Even the quote posted re "memory" three years ago ("Some people are just loners. It's that simple." - Jimmy Callahan, The Wedding Ringer) jumps out at me with the challenge: But is it? IS it that simple? Or is it simply how you have chosen to be because of something that not even you were truly aware of until you began to question it? Looking back at this week, everything that has happened - NONE of it is INsignificant, and NONE of the people my soul has dared to "dare greatly" with are either... NO more disconnect. Not from me. Not for them. Life's too short. They're too precious. EVERY MOMENT MATTERS...

I'm not perfect and I won't ever be. I am just me, in all my chaos and wild: Gemini child of the moon with a soul of the sea, as fluid and swift in mood changing as the spirit of air, but with heart of endless depth both dark and light as the night. I make no promises but one, and that is no matter what happens, whatever part of me you may see, I will always be real, true to my essence; I know no other way to be.

Enough men want her because they see her body. But her body does not want a man who does not see her mind or seek her heart. Her soul wants substance and depth. She has no desire for superficial and she does not want any who see only surface.

You cannot see it, but beneath the skin there lies a heart so deep it could drown the ocean...you have no idea what this woman has been through...With so much love to give, knowing no other way to be but non-judgmental and unconditional, it has taken more abuse than a heart should, and now it is tired...her mind will not rest, not even for a second, scattered and shattered with more spaces and sights than reasonably existing in any one place...

"What turns you on?" he asked.
"Knowing you want me," she replied.
He smiled, amused, shaking his head. "I always want you. You should know that."
She mirrored his smile, though no laugh reflected back from her eyes shifting darker than black. "Sometimes it's different. When you want ONLY me - that's what turns me on."
