If you're going to treat her like everyone else, you don't deserve her. If you're only going to speak words that are as meaningless as sweet nothings, you don't deserve her. If you only want her because she makes you feel good and knows how to please you, you don't deserve her.

She is not anyone from your past and she doesn't deserve to be treated with abuse, contempt, or taken for granted. She is different to anyone you have ever met or every likely to meet, especially in this place, or anywhere else. If you cannot see that, then you definitely don't deserve her.

The Gemini woman smiles as she falls apart. You hurt her and she moves on; she forgives, but she never forgets, and once her trust has been torn, it may as well be broken, because very few broken things in her world ever get mended, and she does not bother to fix many of them, having the attitude that some things are better broken than together. No matter how precious that trust once was to her, she will do her best to try and forget, even if she can’t, only because if she always remembers she allows it power to destroy her all over again; even as she appears strong and invulnerable to the world, her demeanour a mask of coldness and strength, her heart an icy stronghold that does not seem to have any holes in it, her mind closed with a passion of fury, even as icy and fury are nothing close to what is truly going on inside her. She will smile when she looks at you, take part in life with you, but there are tears in her soul, falling with every painful smile, every look in your eyes, every word she speaks, knowing that you do not know and do not want to know and will never know, just having your own perspective on who she is and why she does what she does. She knows that people do not want to know the truth of another’s soul and so she is a chameleon for every person that crosses her path, a different creature for every man, even as every face she shows is an aspect of her and not a genuine mask, for she is a woman with many personalities, like a diamond in how multifaceted she is; but also like a diamond, albeit rough at times, in how she appears and comes across, for not everyone will see her sparkle and shine, but only glimpse the promise of the beauty that she could be.

ANGEL DEMON

BROKEN BEAUTY


She had a beauty about her brokenness,
something you would never forget.
She had a way of owning it,
as if being broken gave her the edge
she needed to truly sparkle.
She had an air about her you could not explain,
but felt deep within your soul,
the way her eyes looked into you.
She had a way of making all who met her
always remember, wondering if she was
real or dream, her simply being.

I know I am different. I have always known. And I have always accepted. It has never bothered me.

My soul has never bothered me. The way my heart was even as it was not. The colour of blood pearl always [one of my] favourite. And black a natural accompaniment to the welcomed embrace of darkness.

There is beauty in blood. In darkness. In pain. In fire.

Inspiration is found in pain. Through twisting beauty. In splintering a heart through mind and soul and wanting to destroy to escape the pain. Through actions sought to numb all feeling.

We change. Or accept. And embrace. It all.

I have. I am. I will. The soul knows what is real.

Angel and demon. Inked representation of what resides within this earthly vessel of blood and bone. But not what can be explained through words or ink or touch or look alone. Felt through a soul that sings both and celebrates the demon that lets the angel survive.

SHE IS


Some days she's dark; some days she's light. No matter what, she's always true; she's always her - that you can trust. Her soul is dark with shimmers light, her heart black stained with crimson tears, her mind shattered but always sense. She holds madness in one hand and peace in the other, each as much a part of her as her smile, or tears, or eyes that look through your soul. She can hide with the best of them, assumptions and impressions all the world once knew of her, until she chose to share herself, and in her vulnerability let slip too much, the truth behind the mask now seen: The love behind the distance, empathy behind the cold, pain behind the indifference, an aching beyond the loneliness that she rarely sets free. There is a soul unlike any other, an oxymoron complete, for she is as she is not, a complexity few will - if ever - understand. Both woman and girl, enlightened though innocent and anything but, a soul forever young even as it has lived lifetimes; a Gemini is she, but so much more than can ever be explained by words. She just simply is and will always be. Me.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

God created you as an individual. He lovingly crafted every inch of your body and then chose especially the soul that would reside there. He whispered dreams and longings into your spirit that you alone would hear and be able to fulfil the need for in this world. He made you to stand out and be seen. He WANTS you to soar on the winds above the earth. He wants you to ride the energy of your own unique spirit, for when you do that, when you follow your soul on a journey even you might not know where, you are opening up your life to more power and blessings, you on the world and in turn being able to also see and receive them.

Refuse to let the world sully what He made with grace and love. Do not allow it to dull the gleam of your soul and clip the wings of your spirit. Stand firm and steadfast, strong in your faith, in Him and who you are and your purpose, understanding that the diminishing of your light affects not just yourself but those around you and whom you impact, knowingly or not. There is something inside you that only YOU can bring to the world, so do not let the world “take it away”, for it will only destroy what was pure and beautiful, turning it into something muddy and ugly. Do not let them desaturate your soul, but find your courage and strength on the energy of the healing winds of the heavens.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

YOU ARE UNREPEATABLE. Not just for the fact that no one else can ever be you, but because, whether you know it or not, acknowledge it or not, there is something about you that has its own "magic". There is a magic about you that cannot be emulated or replicated by any soul but your own, for it belongs only to you and you alone can wield it...You have within you a light that no one else can hold or shine. Your light springs forth from the dreams in your soul and the hope in your heart, cast just the way it is because of everything that you have experienced and the darkness you have to manoeuvre around. Your light can never be lit in another soul, even though it has the power to spark alight the light of another soul...Your life is an example, you an example that others look up to, look to for guidance, for "light". You are a motivation, even if you do not know it, and your life through your actions speaks volumes to other souls who might be needing the very thing that you are not saying. You touch more lives than you know, so never ever stop being you and doing what you do!

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

In a world that is determined to try and make you into something that you are not, DON’T let it! FIGHT back because after all, you are YOU, and along with your character your IDENTITY is all you truly have. Don’t let yourself be dissolved into the mass of society, just another puppet walking in tune to the ringmaster’s mandolin. DANCE to your OWN tune. RUN when the rest of the world walks. LAUGH at the very blessing of being ALIVE.

Be YOURSELF in a world that tries to take that away from you! Hold TIGHT to your principles, staying TRUE to your core values and beliefs. Don’t let the world tell you that you’re wrong for thinking the way you do just because it is DIFFERENT from what it finds acceptable. CHALLENGE authority, for it was the world who instituted it. EMBRACE the outcasts, for they are very likely like you, scorned by the world because they REFUSE to conform to ideals in opposition to who they are.

Represent yourself with HONOUR and do not let yourself be defined by anything other than what YOU determine you are! Don’t give them the POWER that only you by rights should own. Take BACK what is yours and stand proudly, UNWAVERING in the face of adversity. Have the CONFIDENCE to stay TRUE to YOU and find RESPECT in having the COURAGE to stand alone, even if it means walking apart from the rest of the world and forging your OWN path.

Why would I ever want to be "normal"? Your eccentricities are what set you apart. They are what make you beautiful. They are what make you YOU. Why would you ever want to CHANGE that?

Be PROUD of who you are and why you are who you are. You are above that which has tried to destroy you and will only CONTINUE to grow in strength and power. You are a force to be reckoned with.

Like the ocean, you are made of depths, of tides, of endless possibilities. There is nothing "normal" about the ocean. It is ORPHIC: "mysterious and entrancing; beyond ordinary understanding".

Human. Warrior. Beast. Fighter. Free spirit. Enlightened soul. YOU are orphic.
