MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

RELEASE

The smile that was glowing flickers a little and the spark that was becoming brighter suddenly whispers like a ghost in and out of time. Everything that was once so alive feels tired and before you know it days have turned into weeks. When you suddenly become AWARE that you have let that which once did not bother you creep inside and settle on your heart, you need to stop and take a moment.

Your soul longs for the sound of the waves upon the shore. Your body longs for the feel of the sand beneath your bare feet. Your heart longs for the PEACE that can be found in the solitude of losing yourself in the beauty around you and the sheer magnificence of something greater being born in the stillness.

Close your eyes and imagine. Let your mind wander along the shore, your dreams bold in planting their footprints in the sand, unafraid to splash through the waves, your smile and laughter unaffected and pure again. Let your soul out. Release all that which “holds you down” and give it up to the One who always knows and sees and has been waiting for you to UNDERSTAND.

Remember how it felt to be so “light”, the “glow” diffusing throughout your being, your aura “rippling” out like a wave in positive vibration. Remember the joy that turned even the most mundane things into “moments”. Remember the smile that lit you from the inside out so that even YOU noticed the change in yourself and wanted to be “out there” sharing the “happy”.

Sit back and close your eyes. Remember the emotion. Remember the feelings. Remember waking every morning and sensing that something wonderful was about to happen. Something wonderful WAS, because your soul was open and light and ready for anything. Go back to that time and let your soul relax as it releases everything clouding your colour, to once again be FREE.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

REMEMBER

Sometimes we allow life to get in the way, infiltrate our mind with its fear, doubt, and worries, our circumstances looking bleak instead of an opportunity for change. Are you swimming or drowning in it? Are the things that once used to make you so happy now pulling you down into the depths of despair?

When the things we love become the things that destroy us, what then? We need to REMEMBER - WHY we loved it, what it was that gave us so much joy and peace, smiles before the tears, laughter before the screaming. We need to REMEMBER, and in doing so, maybe make our burden a little lighter.

Let your memories be sweet. Let yourself remember how much you loved. Live without floundering, without sinking, feeling like every day is a battle just to stay afloat. Because all the energy you’re exerting to try and simply STAY here is draining you of energy you could be using for something ELSE.

Remember what it was like and THANK the past for HAPPENING, giving you such blessings, knowing that not all things are meant to last - and nothing ever will. Give yourself time to grieve, but allow yourself to move ON, so that you CAN “live again”.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

THE ULTIMATE

Whatever is happening right now is going to happen with or without your permission. The hardest part is being “awake and aware” as it happens, especially when you would love nothing more than to fall asleep and never wake up. As you walk through the hours your mind wants to disappear from the world, float away with the clouds to another part of the world or rise to the stars in the endless blackness of space, to be “free” from the reality of moving footprints being kicked through the sands of time by a hurricane wind determined to rush them to the sea of undoing.

Staying calm in the midst of the hurricane, shrouding your eyes so no one sees the real emotion in the depths, looking to seek solace from the one who should know you the best but remains naïve no matter how loud your soul screams, is one way to keep going. One way to try and make sense of the “breaking”, to forgive yourself for being human and having moments of weakness. One way to stay another day in this world when the closing your eyes and walking down the middle of the highway is an impulse that calls to your bruised mind, easier to envision when you have spent time before sitting there for solitude.

Somehow you must let go of whatever is causing distress in your soul and unease in your mind, no matter how hard; remind yourself that it is not worth “taking” from your life any more than it has, if your heart not precious enough to be cherished, to kill yourself slowly over the one you find crept inside. Close your eyes and refind your “centre”; gather “the world” around you as you seek within and without the whispers of dreams, murmurings of wonders that the future can hold if you let go of the rock pulling you down to the depths of the ocean you find yourself drowning in.

Listen to the words that say “do what’s best for you”, the loudest voice of them all that of the one who walks beside you but cannot hear you; give yourself permission to do as you’re “told” and let it happen without feeling regret or remorse for deciding to look after you and not those who seek only to use you, even as their lips speak beautiful words that are nothing more than mere words, for words twisted to fit actions and not the reverse as professed. You need to let your mind come to terms with the actions, peace with the story unfolding, and let yourself “be”.
