WORTH WAITING AND FIGHTING FOR!
Your heart knows what it wants. And it knows what it’s prepared to do to get it. If it’s something you TRULY desire and long for above anything, you WILL do WHATEVER it takes - wait as long as it takes, fight as much as it takes, suffer as much as it takes, until your dreams manifest as reality.
Waiting teaches us patience. It is probably the one thing above all else that shows us how much we truly want something. Waiting suffers the battles, the fights, the struggles, the torment, the pain, the tears. It’s NOT giving up when things seem bleak, hope desolate and lost beyond belief. It’s having faith that no matter what, you WILL persevere, that it will all be WORTH it in the end.
Nothing great ever comes easy. It is always going to be a battle, because that is the way of life. It sorts out the wheat from the chaff, determines who REALLY has it in them to touch their dreams. After all, if you’re not fighting with EVERYthing you are and have, then you’re not really fighting, and if you’re not really fighting, then it means whatever it is you are fighting for does not mean that much to you.
Pain is just one price we pay for our dreams. Sometimes it is the most costly of all, because the road to our heart’s desire is neither short nor easy, and the most beautiful of things cannot be touched, but they must be felt. The most beautiful things in life often come out of the most intense and immeasurable pain, drawn from a soul that refuses to let go or give in or give up, knowing that even the deepest torture is nothing to endure to see their dreams alive and living.
When your heart wants something, TRULY desires it, you will find within you the STRENGTH to endure and overcome ANYthing in the pursuit of it. So hold TIGHT to your dreams, NEVER give up hope, and always have faith that every minute, every fight, every tear is WORTH it!

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY
CHANGE IS A PROCESS
Change does not happen overnight. It does not happen in an instant. It does not happen just because we want it to. Change happens when we decide to make a stand and ACT on that decision. It happens when we determine that we are no longer going to live our life the way we are. It happens when our hearts and minds are in agreement with each other. It happens when we are prepared to work HARD to MAKE it happen.
Change starts in the HEART. It has to start in the heart to become a conscious thought. When it becomes a conscious thought we are AWARE of the reasons behind our actions and can GUIDE them in the direction we WANT to go. When we ensure our actions are in line with the change we seek we start to make progress. We start to see change. We start to BECOME what we want to be.
Change is a PROCESS. The desire and the decision to change may take but a moment, but the actual change itself is gradual, like the budding of a flower, slowly opening up to reveal the beauty hidden inside, embracing the world and adding one more wonder to it.
Once the events are set in MOTION they cannot be stopped and that flower can and will continue to bloom even in the harshest conditions if it is nurtured in life and purpose, or it will bloom for a brief while and die. The same can be said of us, in that we will continue to grow as long as we have purpose and passion, as long as we strive to constantly evolve and become better, our hearts and our minds determining the change that will occur, but if not, we will wilt and lose our delight, our sparkle, our shine, and we do NOT want to let that happen.
CONSTANT CHANGE FOR THE BETTER! CONSTANT MOVEMENT OF HEARTS AND MINDS AND ACTIONS! CONSTANT WORK GOING ON INSIDE US TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD!

2012 | Day 202: Taking Back the Power
MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY
It starts with YOU
Desire.

Motivation.
Inspiration.
Effort.
Progress.
Achievement.
Quote for Reflection:

June 1, 2012
2012 | Day 150: Your world can change in the blink of an eye
MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY
The Starting Point = DESIRE
Achievement is not accomplished from nothing. It starts somewhere. As an idea, a dream, a goal, a vision. It starts with a DESIRE. A spark that can just flicker faintly or turn into a raging fire.
Passion creates a burning heat that can’t help but fan that spark into a flame. Passion fuels the flame and lifts the wind that breathes life into it. Passion stirs the life in that flame into a fire. Passion stokes the coals beneath that fire, to keep it burning bright. Passion lights the dark night with that fire as the flames rise higher and higher.
But if there is no wind, no passion, only a mere thought, a wish barely believed in, then that spark will never become a flame. It will only flicker, maybe flare briefly, but soon fade and die, disappearing into the wind as if it never existed, not even an echo of a shadow in the deepest dark of night, forgotten and discarded for all time.
Is your desire just a faint flicker or a fierce fire? If you want something, TRULY desire it then you will give nothing but your ALL to ensuring that it burns fierce and bright for the entire world to see, to spread so much light that you cannot see the shadows, drawing others into its circle. When your passion is such, it will not go UNnoticed, and the world will turn and watch as you pursue your dream.
When your desire is raging fire, you will achieve GREATNESS, because such vision cannot be hidden, only glowing brighter and brighter, until it garners support, encouragement from all directions, to see it fulfilled.
Quote for Reflection:
Day OFF
Sleep: Went to bed even earlier last night, but woke after only three hours at 0215, and, unable to go back to sleep, I got up at 0309. Started feeling it at 1000, my stomach in pain and uncomfortable, so I returned to bed and slept for another couple of hours, waking feeling so completely sore, my limbs, especially legs dead and heavy, like I am walking around with lead inside them (my body is definitely paying the price for doing squats during Tuesday's photoshoot, especially since it is no longer used to them).
Mood: Sobered down quite a bit, the way my body feeling not helping matters. Reminding myself that this feeling in only TEMPORARY and once I get back "on track" I will be fine in a few days.
Energy: About as much as a battery on its last legs today - hence today being this week's day OFF.
I am honoured to be the "Fitness Model of the Month" for June

Comments
Sleep - Time and Quality: ~5 hours - let's hope that it STAYS normal from now on!
Energy: I have none.
Mental Focus and Clarity: Actually getting into my assessment now - once on a roll, focus is CONCENTRATED.
Stress: Might have to do something about this VERY soon.
Joints: Left elbow still clicking. Mid back aching a little.
Endurance: Ok.
Strength: Good.
Quality of Training: HIIT Run was slow - the slowest ever. I just had no energy. Even my efforts were pitiful . . . Resistance training was heavier weights, less reps, less sets to make for less overall duration than usual . . .
Recovery: Noticing that the heavier weights are definitely taking more out of me.
Body Composition and Look: Seeing upper abs better than I was at the start of the week. Obliques as well.
Question of the Day
Do we ever truly know what we are capable of? So many people become and are what others want them to be, trying to please others, that I wonder if they ever really know who and what they are, or whether they are even capable of knowing . . .

Comments
Mood/Aggression: NO-GO zone if you want to keep your head!
Energy: Nothing. Took forever to even get myself ready for training, and throughout it I felt like I was just dragging my body through the motions.
Libido: It's ON!
Joints: A few niggles here and there - elbows clicking, knees aching, hips popping.
Endurance: Fine.
Strength: Same weight as last week for less reps.
Pump: Decent, but nothing spectacular.
Vascularity: Spectacular.
Quality of Training: HIIT felt like my body was a heavy mechanical object podding along at the only pace it could go. Efforts were lacklustre compared to usual and I didn't have the energy to push harder . . . Resistance training was only 20 minutes, and definitely felt 'off' today . . .
