MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

ACT ON YOUR FUTURE

One small step can turn into leaps and bounds and somersaults, and before you know it, you’re jumping off cliffs into the open chasm below with arms wide open…

The first step is always the hardest. The first three weeks of getting up and going after something, trying to “reset” habits and patterns is always the most difficult. But you take that first step, get through those first three weeks, and everything after that becomes “easy”, and before you know, when you look back you wonder why you didn’t “start” SOONER.

STOP wondering. Start NOW. Don’t be the one who looks back three weeks from now and KNOW where you could have been or SHOULD be and berate yourself for NOT doing it. Instead, SET your plan and know what you are going to be doing day-by-day to get you one more step CLOSER to your goals. Set your plan and then ACT on it.

Envision yourself jumping off that cliff and LOVING it. Imagine running through the waves on the beach and feeling the JOY seeping through every inch of your being. Reach out for the stars and know that you have it within you to be soaring through the heavens WITH them. Know that it is NOT a dream, but a reality just waiting to be “created”.

And it’s on YOU to create it. It’s on YOU to be the change you want in your life. It’s on YOU to take that first small step that will cause your “domino effect” of growth and achievement.

2012 | Day 280: I CAN

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

It’s all very well and good to have a dream, but a dream is just a dream unless you ACT on it, and a dream will not be acted on unless you believe that you CAN achieve it. Belief in yourself and your ability to achieve your dream is ESSENTIAL. You HAVE to believe that you can AND will accomplish what you want, or you will never really come close. If you believe you take every challenge as it comes, don’t allow difficulties to discourage you, knowing that you are one step closer every day to having what you desire, becoming who you want to be.

Your MIND is your most POWERFUL tool in the pursuit of your dreams. If you have no faith in yourself, no belief that you are capable, thinking that what you want is not possible for you, then you will never have it, because you have already talked yourself OUT of it. But if you have confidence in yourself, believe that you can, and know that NOTHING is impossible for those who truly desire their dreams, then you are more than walking potential, and no matter how long the journey to get to your destination, you WILL arrive.

When you believe, you do everything you can to accomplish your goals, take the risks necessary, seek out the people who can help along the way, and do not allow the negativity of others to dissuade you from your path. When you have a dream and a vision you believe in, knowing that even if you do not have all the answers to everything that might happen along the way right now but just go ahead and start regardless, you will be able to overcome anything, something greater driving you through everything, because you BELIEVE.

It’s not enough to want something. It’s not enough to THINK that you can accomplish your goals. You have to BELIEVE in not just your dream, but in YOURSELF, and know that ANYthing is possible if you believe that “I CAN” do it!

Day 215: Achievement

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE OF THE DAY

It's the struggles that make your achievement worth it; after all, it's the journey, not the destination, we learn and take the most from.

Success: What Is It?

How do you define success? Is it money, wealth, power? A body rival to the gods in terms of leanness and muscle? Is it finding a balance between work and play? Or making your work something that you love, so that it is more play, and that play is your passion?

To everyone, success means something different. You can guarantee that if there were a thousand people in a room, each one of them would have their own definition of success. And each one of them would be able to tell you when they had reached it.

So, what does success mean? Achieving your goals? Having a vision for the future, and working towards it? Having self fulfilment and love and acceptance?

How do you measure success? By the times you try and fall down, only to get back up and keep soldiering forward? Or by the hills you climb to get to the highest mountains that you strive to reach? Is it the peaks you pass on the way to the top of the highest one you are seeking? Or is it something else? Something deeper, different, and unexplainable, that drives you?

Where do you go once you have achieved your success? Do you stop and bask in it for a while? Do you go backwards, because one you have achieved your goal, all effort dies from you? Or do you keep on striving, climbing higher and higher, ever seeking, ever searching, ever having to attain something more? Do you set for yourself a higher goal, and start from there? Do you keep your eyes upon the stars, the ultimate lifelong ambition to set yourself among them?

I am a Warrior . . . A Warrior never stops climbing. A Warrior never stops seeking. A Warrior works always to the highest glory possible.

. . . What are you?
