MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

FITNESS IS A LIFESTYLE

Your FITNESS is important, ESSENTIAL to overall soundness of body AND mind, to living a COMPLETE life. Therefore, it canNOT be something you only do “here and there”, but something you do CONSISTENTLY. Fitness has to be a LIFESTYLE.

We all have ups and down in our in our fitness, the way we do everything in life - that is normal. What is NOT normal is to use fitness the way you would fashion - as a trend, something you change based on how you feel or what is perceived as “normal”.

Fitness should not be a TEMPORARY commitment, something done only at specific times of the year or when you want to achieve a certain goal. Fitness is an INVESTMENT - in your HEALTH and well-being, in your FUTURE. See the VALUE in that investment, in making that LONG-TERM COMMITMENT, even if you might not see all the benefits of it right now - because I guarantee later on, you WILL.

There will be times along the way when it will be hard and you might question the time and effort you invest in your fitness, but as with everything, it is to be expected, because NOTHING worth doing ever comes easy and withOUT sacrifice. However, if you commit to your health and make fitness a LIFESTYLE, instead of a “passing trend”, you will NEVER regret it.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

COMMITTMENT, POSITIVITY, AND WILLINGNESS

Life is full of struggles, challenges that force us to rise to our POTENTIAL. Some see the hardship in the challenge and give up because they find it too difficult, whilst others CRAVE the challenge and seek every way possible to use the experience to BETTER themselves.

There IS a way through every challenge, if your eyes are OPEN to it, thinking OUTSIDE the box, nurturing creativity and GROWTH in your soul. There is an OPPORTUNITY to DISCOVER new aspects of life and of yourself, gifts waiting to be ACCEPTED and OPENED with wonder.

To FIND the way through life’s challenges you have to be COMMITTED: To yourself, the goal, the dream, allowing your mind to filter away any negativity about the outcome, knowing that if you have faith it will all work out. Not always as you wanted or expected, but in a way that will only ENRICH your life, adding to the wealth of experience you ALREADY have, EXPANDING your mind and heart, and opening up your soul for even MORE blessings.

To get THROUGH life’s challenges, you need to be WILLING to walk the path before you, no matter how daunting or unknown. You have to believe in yourself and your ability to OVERCOME, ensuring POSITIVITY even when your heart might feel faint at some point in the journey. Your willingness to WORK through the obstacles thrown in front of you reveals your soul, the way you seek to conquer them and see them as stepping stones to GROWTH.

Moving through life is a FORWARD journey. You cannot grow if you stay still or move backwards. You HAVE to move forward, ALWAYS forward, focused on the FUTURE stretched before you, knowing that you have the LIMITLESS potential to create in it whatever you want it to BECOME.

COMMIT yourself to the path you have determined to walk. Be POSITIVE about your chances of success. Seek WILLINGLY the path less taken and carve your OWN path. Stride FORWARD in FAITH and BELIEVE for the BEST.

Comments

Mood/Aggression: NO-GO zone if you want to keep your head!

Energy: Nothing. Took forever to even get myself ready for training, and throughout it I felt like I was just dragging my body through the motions.

Libido: It's ON!

Joints: A few niggles here and there - elbows clicking, knees aching, hips popping.

Endurance: Fine.

Strength: Same weight as last week for less reps.

Pump: Decent, but nothing spectacular.

Vascularity: Spectacular.

Quality of Training: HIIT felt like my body was a heavy mechanical object podding along at the only pace it could go. Efforts were lacklustre compared to usual and I didn't have the energy to push harder . . . Resistance training was only 20 minutes, and definitely felt 'off' today . . .
