Don’t be what they expect you to be. Don’t let the opinions of others overtake and saturate your soul. Don’t become what they want you to be.

It’s ok to be different – in fact, it’s BETTER; EMBRACE it! It’s ok to be exactly who and what you are – you should always be true to YOU. It’s ok to live your life the way that makes your soul sing – anything else is NOT ok.

There will be many who do not understand you, but it doesn’t matter. The best way to make the difference you were created for is to accept and embrace that and live your life how God places it on your heart, for nothing else will ever feel “right” and in the end, it is only between you and He.

If there is ANYthing that the events of these last few days have reiterated (the start of it all the day I went to see your memory, buddy, and the night I returned to my first home and took this pic #gonebutnotforgotten), it is THIS: Life in this lifetime, is finite and fragile, and people even more than the illusion of. So despite everything that happens or may happen, give yourself permission to live a brave and bold, beautiful life. One that dares greatly irrespective of the odds or feared consequence, no matter what others may think or possible warnings against of that little voice in your head. For every moment is a chance that will never be again, every person a blessing that may never be gifted again, every opportunity the door to a world that may never be offered to you again. And taking that risk, shutting out all the naysayers or doubt, seeking the stillness of soul and heart colluding to bring to the ultimate conclusion, is worth EVERY moment, the beauty of possibility and potential far greater than mind might imagine. Live your life. Take the risks. Love your journey. Make it UNforgettable. Live it so much, and be present in it, that the ones your soul loves, and the souls yours encounters, become indelible footprints on your heart and inspiration on theirs. BE the difference. As much for YOU as for them. And live so much that it cannot ever be forgot who changed it forever, or when.

Strength isn’t about power or might. Sometimes strength is simply smiling at another when you don’t “have” a smile or just being there to listen when you’re exhausted and want to do anything but. Strength is not always “seen”, but it is always FELT and you never know who is observing.

You might never know it, but YOU could change someone’s life. You could be the catalyst for them looking into the mirror and searching deep and asking themselves what they truly want out of life. 
You could be the one they look up to and aspire to “be like”, because they see what you do and know a little of your story. You could be a “reason” in their life that inspires them to become BETTER.

It might not seem like you are being strong sometimes, but what is and what is seen are not always the same thing, and people are so very influenced by impressions, even when they come to learn the “truth”, and sometimes the truth makes them take a few steps back and think and “see” more.

When it feels like you have none, draw on Him. There is a never-ending supply of strength and grace waiting for us if we just ask for it. In the times when we don’t feel strong or want to be, then it is time to let His power be the strength we need. Remember, STILL being here, is strength and you never know what that means or “tells” others and the impact that a single ripple can make.

Those who inspire others often inspire, not because they are perfect, but because they are NOT. They have struggled and OVERcome insufferable odds, refusing to give up and stay down, living testimony to others that there IS hope. Their stories inspire because they are REAL people who lead real lives and yet manage to achieve "the impossible" when most would make excuses.

No life is "perfect", but things do not have to be "perfect" to be happy, successful, or blessed, and sometimes the way we "deal" with life and the things it throws at us "make" the inspiration others "draw" from. Even when they do not know your story, whether you want them to or not, are aware of it or not, the impression one might get can be powerfully influencing.

If one were perfect there would be NO inspiration, for there would be nothing "worthy" to admire. But when one is IMperfect and has no fear in admitting weakness, there is strength in that vulnerability, the risk to "expose" to scrutiny, for there is courage in such risk and willingness to let others see that "battle" and people relate to REAL.

Life is short and it is oh so very PRECIOUS. EVERY moment counts and every second matters. Everything you DO has cause and effect. Everything you SAY lingers in a heart or mind or time. Everything you ARE can change the world AROUND you...WORK on making the one YOU live in the way you WANT it to be as much as you can effect and have "power". As you strive to become the BEST you possibly can, encourage OTHERS to their potential alongside you, showing them that there is ALWAYS hope and NOTHING is "impossible"...LIVE life as you strive, ENJOYING the "moments" that will become memories, GRATEFUL for the blessing of those kindred souls who journey with you and have come to mean more than you ever might have thought. As you open your heart and let your soul SMILE allow yourself simply to "be", EMBRACING all that you are and will become, INVITING the future and opportunity for GROWTH, inspiring movement and momentum of vision...EVERYthing has a PURPOSE. Every "chance" is a gift given, a mystery to unravel, a wonder to behold, a blessing to be shared. Every NEW day is another day to unlock potential, change in ways that might have once been unfathomable, experience the amazing in the "normal", make a DIFFERENCE as only YOU can. RECOGNIZE it and take control, even as you let Him "lead", understanding that every day is His gift to you, your "second chance" to live a life of choices that will create positive example to INSPIRE courage and "risk" in others to LIVE their lives as COMPLETELY as possible...

The highs, then lows, before the depths, the falling... seemingly endless falling... through the darkness, a vortex of black, not knowing when it will stop, or even if there is a bottom to be reached... a recurring dream since childhood, where you are just falling and falling and falling, through time and the black... BUT... It is just a dream, even as it is not a dream, and all dreams eventually come to an end, when we open our eyes, when we awaken... when we still ourselves enough to come back to our soul to see the blur between dream and nightmare and know both are the same, just different perspective of energy and vision... AND... we know that we can fall up too, maybe not as fast as we fall down, but we can, and we do... and we will rise past everything that we have seen or known as we fell, to a place beyond the point where we fell from... SO... keep going, my friend, dark to night, until night becomes day, that day turns to light... for the strength of your heart to hold onto hope, no matter the circumstances, is a light on its own, and you never know what difference it might make to who or where in your dark... keep a hold on your heart, for your soul, for its power.

The journey to higher awareness and greater awakening is not one all "succeed" through, but it is one the healing warrior understands only too well. Those moments, the breaking, they are never easy, no matter how many times you go through them, or for whatever reason. They are never easy. And it takes a lot of courage to keep going, to bring yourself to continue showing up in the world when you want to disappear from it altogether sometimes. It takes strength to walk among the calm and show nothing of the chaotic storm going on inside, to give a smile because you know that you never know what another may be going through and it could be the difference they need today. It takes more than many may ever know, to process the pain and accept the lesson trying to be taught through it, because you know that you cannot just accept it but have to know it, truly know, deep down in your soul, not only in your head and felt in your heart.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BE YOURSELF

It can be hard to realize that to be truly HAPPY you must be YOU. You – as you ARE, in your ENTIRETY. No hiding aspects of yourself away, but letting the world know by seeing how BRILLIANTLY you can glow – the way you have let others see you glow and the way you unconsciously glowed before from the touching of another soul against your own.

In that time you were happy – completely and unadulteratedly HAPPY. You were FREE to be you, with those who only longed to see more of the soul you had started to let peek out at the world. Somehow, between then and now, it ran away and hid again, and now you have to STOP that and let it back OUT – you need to OPEN up your trembling heart to the winter frost to find the sun and its warmth.

NO more hiding. No more shying AWAY. You have so MUCH potential inside you. You have so many DREAMS, so many HOPES and plans for the future. Let them OUT. Give them VOICE and see that there IS support – there are those who want to see your soul bloom like it did once before, and grow beyond that to FLOURISH.

Just be YOU. Not what the world wants you to be. Not what others want you to be. Not what you think you should be. Just be what you ARE and be UNashamed of it – do not forget your beauty, your wings, your UNIQUENESS and everything about you that stands you apart from anyone and everything else. Let your soul back out and simply let yourself BE.

When you can do that, KEEP on doing it. LIVE your dreams. Let the joy of refinding the passion that had slipped away infuse back into everything you do. Let the smile in your soul sparkle from the depths and light the smile of another. Give yourself permission to FLY again and GROW ever more into the person He intended you to be. Let the HAPPINESS become a way of life again.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

Wild creatures were made to roam free, not tied down, wandering souls exploring the world in all its wonder, dancing from one experience to another, living and loving and learning every shade of ecstasy possible. The free spirit does everything in its own way and time, knowing ultimately that what is meant to happen will without requiring force, having faith that whenever beauty is sought it will be found, because like-minded souls are instinctively drawn to one another, regardless of time or place. Let passionate soul loose, releasing any inhibiting bonds from its restlessness, to watch it flit its way through the tapestry of life, leaving glimmers of light like flickering glow-worms in its wake.
