If there is ANYthing that the events of these last few days have reiterated (the start of it all the day I went to see your memory, buddy, and the night I returned to my first home and took this pic #gonebutnotforgotten), it is THIS: Life in this lifetime, is finite and fragile, and people even more than the illusion of. So despite everything that happens or may happen, give yourself permission to live a brave and bold, beautiful life. One that dares greatly irrespective of the odds or feared consequence, no matter what others may think or possible warnings against of that little voice in your head. For every moment is a chance that will never be again, every person a blessing that may never be gifted again, every opportunity the door to a world that may never be offered to you again. And taking that risk, shutting out all the naysayers or doubt, seeking the stillness of soul and heart colluding to bring to the ultimate conclusion, is worth EVERY moment, the beauty of possibility and potential far greater than mind might imagine. Live your life. Take the risks. Love your journey. Make it UNforgettable. Live it so much, and be present in it, that the ones your soul loves, and the souls yours encounters, become indelible footprints on your heart and inspiration on theirs. BE the difference. As much for YOU as for them. And live so much that it cannot ever be forgot who changed it forever, or when.

You know what: Life is short. TOO short NOT to chase your heart or take the risk on something or someone you can’t stop thinking about. Who cares what the world might think? It's YOUR heart, your happiness, your future, your POTENTIAL. So let loose your soul to dance in the rain and have companion souls join you, beside you or to their own tune, each of you creating a beautiful melody no one but those who “see” might understand.

If you want it, SAY so. Forget timidity or fear. Put aside "what ifs" and "buts" and set yourself out there where you can be SEEN. Yes, you might be vulnerable, but in vulnerability you open yourself up to an abundance of blessings you might never have thought could be.

You want to let your soul dance? Then LET it dance. And pull those you wish to dance with alongside you, feel the magic in the moment and make it last a lifetime not forgotten. Hold onto the moments granted, for you know not when they might be gifted again.

Life is too short to be spent in hesitation, wondering, wanting but never doing. Before you know it the moment could be gone and you never know if with it your chance for something great or “once in a lifetime”. So, LISTEN to your heart. OPEN up your soul and set it free to DANCE throughout your life with a smile in its step and a glow that spreads light wherever it reaches, rippling through life making the difference that only YOU can make.

There are infinite possibilities inside you, endless potential that even you might not be aware of. You are an incredible masterpiece, with your own melody and vibrations, a composition no one can ever successfully imitate or copy. There is greatness within and surrounding you and you just need to let yourself BE and LIVE it, no matter the present, because the present is in a constant state of flux and you with it. When you just do YOU and focus on doing what you do best, knowing or not the next step of the journey, your action in faith is the catalyst that sets in motion the process that will bring you to the intended vision. You are part of a vision, an irreplaceable part, one that may not always be seen or recognized, which is ok, because you dance to your own tune and have a rhythm unlike any other, and it is only BECAUSE of your confidence in such knowledge that enables you to be. Believe in the process, trust in the vision, and continue to do what you feel in your soul and know in your heart to be your truth, for everything matters, action and reaction.

There’s a world within a world and that world is you. And within that world are many more: dreams, each one a different path, alternate reality to this world, even as they are not. For while we dream and some are meant to be nothing more, there ARE some that sit so strongly on our soul to simply be "just dreams" - things we have carried within us from our very first lifetime, ever since we can remember in this one.


We may have let them slip and sink into the swirling kaleidoscope of our (sub)consciousness, but they have never been far from the surface, rising always when we seek out soul for our true heart’s desire(s). It could be that you were afraid to “let” yourself have that dream, of what it would mean, how it would be, if you actually HAD everything you truly desired, but now you can acknowledge that "fear" and see it for what it is, realizing that while you wanted it, you may have not been "ready for it" before.


But you are NOW (and you ARE going to make it happen, bring that dream out of your inner world into the physical one). It has been a long road to this place, but that one dream – the one that would mean more than anything else in the world, that ever has or could be, if it “came true” - you KNOW is also your true purpose; your gift, your “calling”. You know it because when you let it "slip", feeling unable to give voice to your soul, how much darker is the darkness [even if the darkness assists in "birthing" that voice]. But it has all come to this, everything felt over the last six months finding clarity each time you assert this dream, and you know you cannot “wait” any longer.


Life has often felt like I am dreaming, even though I know I am awake. The adult in me knows that life is not a dream we are living, but the child in me refuses to accept that our life cannot be a dream lived. Dreams and reality infuse this world and nothing is impossible when worlds exist within worlds, and more than we can fathom in those worlds we do NOT see.


Life CAN be a dream – YOUR dream – if you truly want it to be. I have to BELIEVE.

Of all the quotes I have ever read or heard, from the first (and likely to the last, moreso than ever), "I'd rather end up wishing I hadn't than wishing I had. Don't you?" has resonated the most with my freespirited Gemini. My life is not one too many understand or might "agree" with, the things I have done and the way I have chosen to live it, the gypsy soul in me a wanderer with "restless feet". Yet for a time, those feet "settled", knowing that they wanted to move on but unsure of quite where to go next (aside from knowing without doubt that my free soul needs to be near the ocean to be its best), unusual caution where once sudden impulse might not be ignored. I know too well how much a spontaneous decision can turn into an amazing adventure, with memories that will last a lifetime. I also know what can happen when you throw all caution away and chase your heart without care of consequence, events reminding you of how unpredictable life is and that sometimes there is nothing to do but "fuck it"! There is a balance, even if others (and sometimes yourself) do not see it, and yes, while you should dream, taking steps daily to move closer towards the achievement of your goals and aspirations, sometimes you have to stop yourself overthinking and just do it, risking without any logical or reasonable conception of the outcome. There is a time and place for everything, but in the end, life is about living and living requires risk. There is safety in security, but there is no guarantee of happiness or "success" (both of which are defined relative to the individual) there. If informed reasonable doubt, perhaps reconsider, but if unshakeable desire your soul cannot let go of for without cause, then trust your "gut feeling" (having both ignored and listened to my intuition, I know it is never wrong). Lucille Ball's "I'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't" holds truth, although whatever done, irrespective of what happens is not a "regret" for an awakened soul, but either an experience unforgettable or a valuable lesson on their journey of change and growth.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

Nothing like a reminder of how short life really is to motivate you to make the most of your life NOW.

Follow your heart. Chase your dreams. Never stop believing. If they rest insistently on your soul they're there for a reason, and sometimes it's only in the DOING that the reason becomes clear. Listen to your heart. Live your dreams. Never give up. Whatever you love to do you love for a purpose, and sometimes only YOU can fulfill that purpose.

So go out into the world and live unapologetically as your soul is led, the sparkle from your heart shining in your eyes as you live loving life and all that you do, being open to and seeing the magic come alive in every moment in the beauty surrounding you. Live so that come the time your ability to do so fades, you will have lived so completely and ultimately that you have no regrets, because you will have done all that you can with all that you are, become more than you ever thought you could and made all the difference only you possibly could have.

Make the MOST of your one, precious life and if you are not already, start doing it NOW.
