You're a fighter, like me. You've been through hell and come out the other side, not afraid to walk through the fire. You know who you are and have no fear in being all that is in you, living with purpose because anything else is unimaginable. You're real, authentic "true blue". You've seen the darkest parts of human souls, including your own, and it only makes you stronger, your fire burn brighter, your grit harder and more secure. You are loyal and fierce and refuse to lie down. You're a true warrior, a conscious decision to live life on your own terms no matter what it tries to throw at you. You've known heartache, but happiness too, and hope is not yet gone from your soul. You are energy I find myself drawn to, even if I don't yet understand why.

Just because I love you doesn't mean I want to be with you. Loving you does not mean that I am IN love with you.
Just because we have great physical chemistry doesn't mean I want to have anything more. Even if impulsively acting on it eventually created sexual attraction.
Just because I am sexually attracted to you doesn't mean I want you to love me. But know that sexual attraction for me towards any is rare and DOES mean that I love you.

THE ANGEL AND THE MERMAID
You think you are so fucked up. And maybe you are. I don't care. Because I saw you, I see you, as an angel. An angel who this mermaid came to love. Two very different creatures, from two very different worlds, but, if you look closer, share two very similar souls. And if some myths are to be believed, mermaids are not all beautiful, but monsters, demons. And demons are not all monsters, but angels, fallen into hell. We really are not that different. You and I. Maybe that is our attraction.
