LIVE STARTING NOW

Nothing like a reminder of how short life really is to motivate you to make the most of your life NOW.

Follow your heart. Chase your dreams. Never stop believing. If they rest insistently on your soul they're there for a reason, and sometimes it's only in the DOING that the reason becomes clear. Listen to your heart. Live your dreams. Never give up. Whatever you love to do you love for a purpose, and sometimes only YOU can fulfill that purpose.

So go out into the world and live unapologetically as your soul is led, the sparkle from your heart shining in your eyes as you live loving life and all that you do, being open to and seeing the magic come alive in every moment in the beauty surrounding you. Live so that come the time your ability to do so fades, you will have lived so completely and ultimately that you have no regrets, because you will have done all that you can with all that you are, become more than you ever thought you could and made all the difference only you possibly could have.

Make the MOST of your one, precious life and if you are not already, start doing it NOW.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BOTH A BLESSING AND A CURSE

Love is Beauty. Love is Hope. Love is a Dream. It gives souls wings to fly. It gives hearts courage to dare. It gives people the push to risk. It is acceptance, understanding, unconditional. Love is a gift to be cherished above all else, for all time. It is something, that when real, once found, can never ever be forgotten.

Love is the most beautiful thing on earth, the most powerful magic there is. And like all things powerful, it can also be twisted into something dark and ugly.

Love brings tears, the most immeasurable heartache. Love causes wars, makes cities crumble. Love leaves devastation, the most unimaginable destruction in its wake. It kills the light that burns in a soul. It cuts deeper than any knife and leaves wounds that never heal. It is the most painful thing in the world to endure.

Love is both a blessing and a curse, the most beautiful thing in the world, but also the cruelest.

And it touches us all at some time in our lives. Which face we see one cannot predict. We can only hope and pray for the love that makes our souls blossom, sing, smile, soar; the love that makes us stronger and better than we ever thought we could be.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

NO SHORTCUTS

Life is TOUGH. It HURTS. It lets you achieve the pinnacle of “success” and then it kicks you down a cliffside faster than you can think. That’s life. Get used to it.

Get used to it. But DON’T accept it. DON’T let it beat you so much that you give up trying altogether. Don’t let it take away the ESSENCE of you and the spark that keeps you going and burning bright for others to see.

Life is tough BECAUSE it is PREPARING you. For what is to COME. It has to make sure that the you that eventually reaches the destination intended is a you that can LIVE there. It has to make sure that you have what it TAKES to live the life you want and achieve the dreams in your heart. It has to make sure that you’re STRONG enough to look fear in the face and release courage despite any and all odds.

The journey may be long AND hard. But without the journey the destination would not hold as much MEANING. It would not be APPRECIATED for the sacrifices required and the work that it took to get there. It would not see a soul that had been tested by fire and trialled through destruction come out as a “brand new” being capable of the ultimate AWARENESS of self and its world. It would not see a soul who understands that the true desires and dreams of the heart are worth EVERYTHING endured to get there.

Shortcuts create DEFECTS. Life wants to make sure that there are no defects in the “end creation” that steps into its final place of realized PERFECTION. It wants to make sure that the soul that holds its dreams in the palm of its hand is one who KNOWS the explicit emotion of having experienced the world through more than a looking glass. It wants that soul to see the DUALITY in everything and understand just what it takes to stand on the top of the world and look out over it. It wants a soul who knows its darkness and light and CHOOSES to live its truth in light.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BE A STAR

Have NO fear in being DIFFERENT. Have NO apologies for wanting what YOU want. Have NO qualms about walking ALONE from the rest of the world determined to be the same. Have NO hesitation in standing OUT.

 

To accomplish YOUR dreams, sometimes you HAVE to walk APART. Sometimes you have to go where no one else is WILLING to go. Sometimes you have to bear the criticism and condemnation from lack of understanding and judgement of those who are too scared to venture outside the bounds of comfort and possibility in their OWN lives. Sometimes you have to be the one who makes others BELIEVE.

 

To be a STAR, you have to do your OWN thing. You have to do what it TAKES when you are the only one who is willing. You have to hold onto your faith in your determination to see it through to the END. You have to be the LIGHT in the darkness of the world and let others see you for the miracle that you are.

 

A star is a MIRACLE. YOU are a miracle. Not everyone believes in miracles and YOU are the one who might CHANGE that perception. Be who you ARE and DO what you do and walk your OWN path.

 

Shine a light for OTHERS in the darkness and let them know that fear is NOTHING. Let them know what is POSSIBLE. Let them know that dreams are not JUST dreams and can become REALITY if they truly desire it. Be the one who makes that DIFFERENCE.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BIG

“BIG” is NOT out of reach. “BIG” IS in your future, If you WANT it to be. But first, you must “UNTRAIN” yourself from thinking that “great” is not for you. Because it IS if you desire it enough. And then, you must start to THINK “big”. Fill your mind with dreams – pluck them from your heart; it knows what it wants. Create dreams so big that it might look like it will take a “miracle” to achieve them. More importantly, BELIEVE in your dreams – with all your soul and heart and mind, for it will take ALL of you to accomplish the “impossible”. When your heart is set on a dream so “big” you cannot help but create the circumstances to MAKE it happen – you open up your life to opportunities you might otherwise have never taken, walk alongside those not in your “natural” element, sing a new song in your soul to the world. “BIG” is out there for everyone who has a dream and believes it CAN be done. When you think “big” and dream “big” and believe in “big”, in some way, shape or form, “big” cannot HELP but BE.

2013 | Day 58: RESULTS, NOT EXCUSES

RESULTS, NOT EXCUSES

There is ALWAYS an excuse that can be made. There is always a reason that could BECOME an excuse as to why something is not being done. But excuses are NOT what I do. Excuses are NOT acceptable. Excuses are made by people who canNOT take responsibility and have no accountability for what they do - not just with their personal life, but in every aspect of their life.

This last week, the last month, I have had EVERY reason to “not” be able to do something, every excuse to fail. However, instead of taking those circumstances and that stress and allowing it to overwhelm me, I USED them as motivation to push HARDER. I used them as a reason TO succeed expectations. I asked myself to GO the distance and put in the time and effort. I got RESULTS.

Excuses are made by WEAK people, those who think that their failures rest upon someone else. They are made by those who want the world but are not prepared to DO what it takes to capture it. They are made by those who dream but never act, instead only trying to discourage others from pursuing their dreams, because they do not have or are not willing to do what it TAKES to accomplish their own.

There is ALWAYS an excuse. You CHOOSE whether or not you ALLOW something to become an excuse. YOU decide what you do when life kicks you down or tries to destroy you. You create an excuse or IGNORE the naysayers and disbelievers and those who pretend to support you and secretly hope for your demise, and you get the job DONE. You GET results.

YOUR CHOICE. I DECIDE.

2012 | Day 338: YOUR CALLING

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

YOUR CALLING

Don’t let others stop you from doing what you KNOW you are MEANT to do. Don’t give them the power to take AWAY from your MINISTRY. You do what you do because only YOU can do it; only YOU can give the world what you bring to it; only YOU can be the blessing that you are.

There will ALWAYS be those who will hate what you do – whether simply to create mayhem, or because it touches some chord in them they do not like or want to acknowledge, or some other reason known only to them. Do NOT listen to them. Do NOT let them scare you off. Do NOT let them DETER you from your path, because you KNOW what it is and WHY you are walking it.

Your life and EVER step you take has a PURPOSE, and you are DETERMINED to see it THROUGH to completion no matter what it takes, the obstacles in your way, the difficulties that lie ahead, because you KNOW what He has tasked your heart with. You know that withOUT your gift to the world it will never be, and that would be a tragedy.

What you do has an EFFECT on the lives of others – feed off the POSITIVE energy and know that you ARE making a DIFFERENCE, CHANGING hearts and minds and lives for the BETTER. KEEP on doing what you are doing. LISTEN to your soul and the words placed upon it to be spoken, speaking that POWER out into the world, to be captured and meditated on and nurtured into seeds of greatness in the souls of others.

2012 | Day 278: VISION AND REALITY

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

VISION AND REALITY

If you want something, you HAVE to do what you need to for it to HAPPEN. If you have a vision, you have to DO for it to become a REALITY. If you have a dream, YOU have to ACT for it to manifest.

Having a dream, a vision, wanting – it should all be about creating a BETTER you, someone who has a wealth of knowledge and experience behind them, unafraid to let the world see what they are, because they are no longer that person. Your past may have created the circumstances that moulded you, but it does NOT define who and what you are – that is something YOU have to do for yourself, so stand STRONG and be CONFIDENT in knowing your vision, that the path you are walking is going to lead you to a higher place, a better you.

Know your PURPOSE and then SHARE it. Share it so that you can garner the SUPPORT you need to make it HAPPEN. You CAN do it on your own, but you never truly accomplish anything ALONE, even if it is a “solo” act.

Having a VISION means having a future that is not JUST for you, but that makes a DIFFERENCE in the lives of others as well. YOU may be the one who gets down to the nitty-gritty, because you know better than anyone what it is you want, but TOGETHER make it a reality.
