Day 357: Happy Christmas New Zealand!

Quote of the Day

"That some achieve great success, is proof to all that others can achieve it as well." - Abraham Lincoln

Training

Cardio 20 min.

Stretch 20 min.

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: WTF is up with me these days?! I slept for nearly 12 hours! Woke with a screaming migraine to boot - so very uncool.

Energy: Feel like the walking dead.

Stress: High as ever.

Quality of Training: Decent.

Other Notes: HAPPY CHRISTMAS NEW ZEALAND! If I was back home now, I would be celebrating Christmas in the summer sun with family and a real Christmas tree - I actually miss it. Will ring the family later today . . . Ironically, I finish my current bottle of Erase tomorrow (not happy about that either), and I finished my current bottle of Lipotrophin-PM yesterday. Not got much BLACK CATS left either - at this rate, I'm going to be going into 2011 with barely even my STAPLES. Ah well, time to start the New Year off with a fresh, clean canvas to paint new chapters of my life on . . .

Day 325: Back to Normal

Quote of the Day

"You can't change what happened to you, but you can see to it that your life isn't destroyed by it." - Tempest, Dark Fire (Christine Feehan)

Training

HIIT Run:
a. 4 min jogging
b. 24 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
c. 4 min jogging

Gym - Shoulders (1 min recovery between supersets/trisets):
Superset A -
1. Behind-the-neck BB Military Press 4 x 12, 10, 8, 6
2. Lateral Raises 4 x 12, 10, 8, 6
Superset B -
3. Seated BB Military Press 4 x 8, 7, 6, 5
4. Hammer Raises 4 x 8, 7, 6, 5
Triset -
5. Clean and Press 4 x 10
6. Single-Arm Lateral Raises 4 x 10 per arm
7. Seated Bent Over Rear Raises 4 x 10

Stretch 23 min.

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: Back to an all-over-the-place sleeping schedule (sigh).

Mood/Aggression: Better, now that I have had my first training session in a week.

Energy: It's back.

Mental Focus and Clarity: Blinkers are on and I am FOCUSED.

Stress: As long as training happens DAILY, I will be ok.

Libido: This has been an untameable beast.

Joints: A few clicks in left elbow during Behind-the-neck BB Military Presses, but nothing else.

Endurance: Good.

Strength: The week off didn't do any damage re strength.

Pump: In anterior and lateral deltoids.

Vascularity: Good.

Quality of Training: HIIT Run was interesting. Tasting blood from the 4-minute mark, continuing to the end of the run. Efforts were fast and slow at the same time. The cold made it better for me to run in . . . Resistance training was fine. Bit of pain, especially in left anterior deltoid, but nothing major. Felt good to be doing something again . . .

Recovery: Fine.

Body Composition and Look: Maintaining at ~10% bodyfat - on the higher end of the range I want to be in, so going to have to do something about that.

Other Notes: I started back on Alpha-T2, BLACK CATS, and Neovar Recomped today, adding back in Lipotrophin-PM, and just using LipoBURN re topicals.

Question of the Day

Can a simple hug wipe away the pain, hide the extent of the despair for a moment, and make us believe and hope in the core of our soul that we are not as alone as we think we are?

November 19, 2010

Day 321: I truly am an Addict!

Quote of the Day

"All the breaks you need in life wait within your imagination. Imagination is the workshop of your mind, capable of turning mind energy into accomplishment and wealth." - Napoleon Hill

Training

None.

The funny thing is, this would have been my week OFF training if I had competed as originally planned last weekend. Weird how things turn out.

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: I've spent the last few days doing not a lot else but sleeping - and now I know WHY . . .

Mood/Aggression: NOT good.

Energy: I have none.

Mental Focus and Clarity: I have not a lot of this either.

Stress: It's a small stress off knowing why I am feeling like this.

Libido: Demands upon demands here.

Recovery: It's not about what I've been doing or not doing, but about what I have not been having.

Other Notes: It's not the higher dose of Erase. It's not the lack of water that I've had over the past few days. It's not the highly upsetting and stressful events of the last week. It's my body going through STIMULANT WITHDRAWAL - and FAST. Didn't take long at all - barely a day withOUT BLACK CATS and I may as well have had someone sounding a battering ram in my head. I KNOW I have a serious problem - I'm NOT functional withOUT stimulants, and LOTS of them, which is nothing good, to say the least. I HAVE to get more, and STRONG ones at that, tomorrow, so that I can start LIVING again! . . . On that note, I used the last of my NeoVar Recomped today, so will be starting CreaPure again tomorrow . . . May also add in Recompadrol as my nutrient repartitioner, since I don't do well without one of those either . . . I am DEFINITELY going to have to learn to TAKE CARE of my HEALTH and STOP DESTROYING myself!

Question of the Day

Is the night ever truly black? Is it as dark as we sometimes think it is, or no, because there is never ever really a true absence of light?

September 13, 2010

Day 255: The first day in hell wasn't so bad

Training

HIIT Cardio:
a. 4 min jogging
b. 12 x 30 sec efforts/30 sec rest
c. 4 min jogging

Stretch 5 min.

Gym - Full-Body (30 sec recovery between alternate sets):
Alternate Set A -
1. BB Good Mornings 6 x 12
2. Side-to-side Plyometric Bench Jumps 6 x 24
Alternate Set B -
3. Push-Ups (feet on bench, hands on DB) 6 x 12
4. BB Bent Over Rows 6 x 12
Alternate Set C -
5. BB Military Press 6 x 10
6. DB Lateral Raises 6 x 12
Alternate Set D -
7. Dips 6 x 10
8. DB Bicep Curls 6 x 10
Alternate Set E -
9. Hanging Straight-Leg Raises (hips to 90 degree flexion) 6 x 10-12
10. Weighted V-Sits (on bench) 6 x 12

Post-Weights Cardio - Stepper:
20 min @ 8 floors/min

Posing Practice 10 min.

Stretch 20 min.

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: I actually passed out last night after eating a 1.6lb steak - must have taken more energy to digest than I thought, LOL.

Mood/Aggression: Have been fine today. Even during training and the pain, my attitude was positive and high. I have a PLAN and I am going to see it through!

Energy: Slow to come today, but once it was there, it was there. It's not until something is done that we often realize that is IS done, and yeah, with resistance training today, I just kept on going, even though it was 2-3 times longer than what it has been over the past few months, and found myself stepping up the pace during Post-Weights Cardio as well after a few minutes.

Stimulant Effects: Started a new bottle of BLACK CATS today and experienced a bit of an effect from it - every time I start a new bottle of product, even if I have been using it for a while, I experience effects like I might during the first few days on a product.

Mental Focus and Clarity: Couldn't ask for more. Then again, with four part-time jobs, full-time study, and training, I HAVE to be focused - there's so much to keep track of, but I'm doing it!

Metabolism: Good.

Stress: A few issues, but nothing I can't handle. I'm going to make a conscious effort to take 20-30 minutes a day for time for ME, when there is no pressure to do anything, and I can just sit there if I want - maybe it will re stress management, but regardless, it's something I've never done before and should have started long ago.

Libido: High.

Endurance: My running endurance is returning. My overall endurance there is never any problem with.

Strength: The next three weeks are NOT going to be about strength, but intensity and PAIN!

Pump: Was a lot better once I was half-way through the resistance session. And, as always, strong during posing practice.

Vascularity: The same as pump.

Quality of Training: HIIT was good - stamina is slowly returning here. No nausea or anything like it either, which is a great thing. Heart felt like it was going to fly right out of my chest during my rest periods, though . . . Resistance training was the first of many brutal sessions to come. Throughout Alternate Set A my heart was pounding, and I almost collapsed a few times after Side-to-side Plyometric Bench Jumps so intense are they on my legs. My body settled somewhat as I got into the session, and the time passed quickly. Face got flushed, cheeks rosy - which is a nice change from the pale white that it has been for the last few months during resistance training. Felt almost like I was moving in slow motion sometimes. The resistance session was just over 75 minutes, which is LONG for me - I rarely go over 40-45 minutes with weights, and the last few months, my sessions have only been 15-30 minutes! - but I walked out of the gym in a straight line, LOL . . . Even had the energy for Post-Weights Cardio, to make it a reasonable pace . . .

Recovery: The day OFF yesterday did me good - and for the first time, I didn't do 1-2 hours of yardwork (which I've been doing on my days off), which helped.

Body Composition and Look: I know I'm lean, but to me I'm not lean ENOUGH!

September 10, 2010

Day 252: Decisions, decisions . . .

Training

HIIT Cardio:
a. 4 min easy
b. 24 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
c. 4 min easy

Gym - Full-Body (1 min recovery between exercises):
1. Crunches (hips at 90 degree flexion, legs fully extended, to touch toes) 1 x 40
2. Reverse Curl (on floor) 1 x 40
3. EZ-Bar Bicep Curls 1 x 40
4. Push-Ups (feet on floor, hands on DB under chest) 1 x 40
5. Lateral Raises 1 x 40
6. Supinated BB Bent Over Rows 1 x 40
7. Flat BB Bench Press 1 x 40
8. Single-Leg Deadlifts (with twist and lateral reach) 1 x 40 per leg
9. Bicycle 1 x 40 per side
10. Plank x 1 min

Post-Weights Cardio 20 min.

Posing Practice 15 min.

Stretch 20 min.

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: Was woken by the cat licking my neck/face after ~3 hours of what seemed like nothing.

Mood/Aggression: I was highly pissed off and angry when I fell asleep this morning, and if I think about it, it still irks me . . . But . . . Good things are going to happen today. And despite training being PAIN, things are on track, so I am being POSITIVE . . .

Energy: Not even the first thing Alpha-T2/BLACK CATS combo was enough to wake me up this morning, and I just felt dead for a few hours afterwards. Training was ok, but definitely had no energy left after my weight . . . Last night at work, I was shaking and feeling near collapse at times throughout the night, so it'll be interesting to see what happens tonight . . .

Mental Focus and Clarity: Got some study to do before work.

Endurance: Excellent.

Strength: Actually struggled today.

Pump: Second to none.

Vascularity: Getting better - the vascularity that I get after applying a topical after having a hot shower straight after eating is what I want and need!

Quality of Training: As much as I wanted to run for HIIT, I didn't, because I already felt like being sick, and if I had, I would definitely have been sick, and I didn't want that . . . Resistance session was just a lot of pain. I gritted my teeth and was breathing heavily a few times, reminding myself what is at stake, and that quitting or going easy is NOT an option . . . Post-Weights Cardio I didn't even want to do, and it was one of the longest 20 minutes of my life it went that slowly . . . Posing is improving. Getting leaner definitely gives advantage on seeing what angles, etc. work best for showing definition . . .

Recovery: My biceps are still quite painful (odd).

Body Composition and Look: I have to get rid of that tyre (belly and lower back) and the cellulite from my legs (for the first time in my life, I got it during my forced break - must have been the daily galleon of ice-cream, LOL, but seriously, ugh). I can see that I'm getting leaner, but those areas bother me, and I just want to be sleek and streamlined, lean and hard, tight and dry, defined and vascular - and it will come.

Other Notes: Another nine weeks before I will give myself a week's break from training. It's a good thing I don't double cardio in the evening - the way I've been feeling, getting all my training done in the morning is enough! . . . Also, trying to decide whether to leave my hair down or tie it half-up half-down for competition. I don't want the Dreamtan to come off and make it feel all slimy and gross, but I also want to be able to 'showcase' it, since it will definitely set me apart from the other competitors . . .

August 15, 2010

Day 228: Day 15 of Alpha-T2

Training

None. Scheduled day Off - although I DID mow the lawns, and that took me an hour . . .

Comments

Stimulant Effects: None - not even 3 caps of BLACK CATS does much anymore!

Metabolism: I think I have a fairly fast metabolism - at least, when I'm training as I should be.

Body Composition and Look: 116.4lb at 11.7% bodyfat. So, again not a lot of change re body composition. SLOWLY losing the bodyfat, which is a good thing - needs to happen a little faster, though, so DIET AND TRAINING on track for next week, and things will HAPPEN!

Other Effects: I am definitely more INtolerant of the heat, and my body feels like a constant furnace I am that hot . . . Thirst is also a constant, nagging feeling, and yet drinking doesn't quench it . . .

August 4, 2010

Day 217: Three Days Out For The Count

Training

A disappointing fat lot of NOTHING - every time I exert any effort for anything but walking or standing up I feel like I'm going to be sick all over again (NOT fun and fcuking frustratingly annoying!)

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: I slept a little late this morning, after hours and hours of TRYING to get my mind to calm and settle enough to let me (yeah, right), and should have been easy, considering I hadn't slept since Saturday (WTF???!!!)

Mood/Aggression: Can't be bothered - just want to sit and watch cartoons and animated movies of all things, which is just odd since I haven't felt much like watching movies in a long time . . . Mood is starting to get edgy since I haven't been training . . .

Energy: I do believe that it is there - the nausea is preventing anything from happening.

Stimulant Effects: Interestingly enough, my heart rate is DEEP - I can feel every heartbeat pounding in my chest (but it's not INcreased), much like stacking BLACK CATS and ephedra, LOL. Body temperature is also high as high - but that could be a fever or something; not sure, since I'm getting on and off chills as well . . .

Mental Focus and Clarity: My mind WON'T shut off (damnit!)

Metabolism: Have not eaten much over the last few days, so can't really tell.

Appetite: Drinking cold water makes me feel ill, and the thought of food right now is so offputting that it's not funny.

Stress: I want to train DAMNIT!

Other Notes: I did NOT take my doses of BLACK CATS today, and only one dose of Shred Matrix - I want to see if less stimulants will let me sleep tonight!

July 27, 2010

Day 209: My body loves to RECOMP

Training

HIIT Cardio:
a. 4 min easy
b. 24 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
c. 4 min easy

Stretch 21 min.

Comments

Mood/Aggression: Actually, in a REALLY good mood - and actually relieved that I have a few days off my night work (more time to use to do my other work and study and try and chillax somewhat - if that's even possible).

Energy: Not starting out the day great, but picking up speed as it goes along . . .

Stimulant Effects: Man, it would take an awful LOT of stims to give me any "stimulant" effects nowadays - my body is too used to them and I keep dosing higher and higher . . .

Mental Focus and Clarity: Like my energy, didn't start out great, but picked up pretty quick after BLACK CATS and then the Anadraulic State GT/T-911 dosing.

Libido: I don't know if my body can handle the volume it's wanting, LOL.

Endurance: Great.

Quality of Training: HIIT was pretty good. I DID consider taking today to give my body a rest, since it seems like forever since it had one, but my mind knows better, and I did what I had to do . . .

Recovery: Feeling a little sore, but not from training.

Body Composition and Look: I'll let my final body statistics do the telling, but from what I can see and feel, I have achieved another successful recomp, as opposed to a cut (which is fine; I still have some time - but not much, and after this I will be straight outright cutting).

July 14, 2010

Day 195: 3 caps of BLACK CATS!

Training

HIIT Cardio:
a. 4 min easy
b. 13 x 1 min effort/10 sec easy
c. 4 min

Stretch 25 min.

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: A further 8 hours sleep last night, waking to feel even worse than I have the last few days, with sore throat, swollen glands and tongue, and stuffy head (sigh).

Mood/Aggression: Calm, the aggression lurking beneath the surface.

Energy: I have energy today! Back on stims and 3 caps of BLACK CATS makes a world of difference!

Stimulant Effects: No stim effects, though.

Mental Focus and Clarity: I was not in the mood for anything when I woke up, but with 10 minutes of dosing 3 caps of BLACK CATS, my mind was highly alert and THERE, ready to go.

Stress: Still high.

Libido: Back on top!

Endurance: Speed endurance is starting to pick up a lot better now.

Pump: In legs.

Quality of Training: Another HIIT session for this week (yes, I did today's training yesterday and yesterday's training today), with longer intervals and shorter recovery time, and having the energy and stamina for it.

Recovery: My body no longer aches all over - just my head and neck . . .

July 13, 2010

Day 194: I've had NO stims for two days!

Training

Day 193

Gym (30 sec recovery between sets):
1. Underhand-Grip BB Bent Over Rows 5 x 4-5RM
2. Overhead BB Squats 4 x 5RM
3. Weighted Dips 4 x 5RM
4. BB Ab Rollout 4 x 5

Post-Weights Cardio 20 min.

Stretch 20 min.

Day 194

HIIT Cardio:
a. 5 min easy
b. 30 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
c. 5 min easy

Gym (45 sec recovery between sets):
1. Wide-Grip Lat Pull-Downs 5 x 8RM
2. Incline DB Bench Press 5 x 8-9RM
3. BB Romanian Deadlift (plates to floor) 5 x 8RM
4. Close-Grip BB Bicep Curls 5 x 8RM
5. Hanging Straight-Leg Raises 5 x 8

Post-Weights Cardio 20 min.

Stretch 21 min.

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: The last two days, I have gotten ~8 hours sleep for both of them.

Energy: I have been waking starting and feeling and continuing on like I am in a permanent "crash".

Other Notes: The last two days I have NOT used any stimulants, just for a brief reprieve, and will be starting back again with BLACK CATS, T-911, and ASGT tomorrow. Also a note to add that from tomorrow, I will be dosing BLACK CATS at 3 caps first thing, and Drive at 3 caps per dose.

July 10, 2010

Day 191 - Day 7 of T-911 and ASGT

Training

V-Burn Challenge Circuit (no recovery between exercises; 1 minute recovery between rounds):

3 x rounds -

1. Jumping Split Squat x 10

2. Hand Walkout (from toes) x 10

3. Single-Leg Deadlift (with twist and lateral reach) x 10 per side

4. Push-Up (with alternate side rotation) x 10

5. Jumping Jacks x 10

6. Side Lunges (with over head reach) x 10 per side

7. Handstand Push-Up x 10

8. Squat Thrust (jump and reach) x 10

Stretch 21 min.

Comments

Mood/Aggression: No aggression today. Just tired and disappointed in myself and feeling worn down.

Energy: Barely there. Definitely do NOT feel like going to work tonight . . . I'll be having a dose of 2 caps BLACK CATS and 1 tab T-911 just before I go into work - I did this last night, and energy picked up to get me through a physical shift; so should again tonight.

Mental Focus and Clarity: I don't even want to think today.

Stress: Higher than high.

Libido: Still high, but it's the first day in a long time that I just can't be bothered.

Endurance: Needed some definite improvement today.

Pump: Painful in anterior delts and arms.

Vascularity: Fine.

Quality of Training: Last week I did 7 rounds of the V-Burn Challenge Circuit - the amount I am supposed to do, but this week I started having pains in my chest towards the end of the third circuit, and rather than continue, stopped (which I shouldn't have). DEFINITELY need to train as early in the morning as possible - training in the heat kills me . . .

Recovery: I'm seriously shattered from work more than training.

Other Notes: The heat is really starting to affect me. I do NOT like it at all - New Zealand summers are much more preferable over this. Hell, I would take the US WINTER over this! I am having to use multiple stimulants to even remotely get me through what I have to, let alone find motivation and energy to do anything else . . . Next week needs to be 100% BETTER than this week!

July 6, 2010

Day 187

Training

HIIT Cardio:
a. 4 min skipping
b. 26 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
c. 3 min skipping

Stretch 24 min.

Comments

Mood/Aggression: Mood is interesting - the events of the past week still have me highly strung out and aggression is very predominant. In fact, I am having to use my training as an outlet for that aggression and other frustrations.

Energy: It's nice to have energy again, and sometimes I have to remind myself not to over do it, that 'easing' back into things is actually ok when necessary, and that the faster I get back to normal, the faster I can hammer myself again.

Stimulant Effects: I DO notice the difference when using T-911 and Anadraulic State GT - moreso with the T-911. With BLACK CATS, even though I am doing the BLACK CATS 30-60 minutes pre-T-911 and Anadraulic State GT, there is a small increase in heart rate and temperature after my pre-training supplement doses.

Mental Focus and Clarity: My mind does not want to turn off - even though right now I would dearly love not to have to live in my head.

Stress: High - as always.

Libido: T-911 always rockets my libido, and my body is constantly reminding me that it has needs - not that everything it wants it should get.

Endurance: This is definitely getting better by the week; I am pleased.

Pump: In arms and anterior delts during HIIT - a little painful in anteriod delts afterwards, actually.

Vascularity: Fairly standard.

Quality of Training: Good. I decided to do a skipping session instead of running, and do HIIT running tomorrow pre-weights. Hammering out the aggression and frustration during the efforts. My skipping rope actually broke (I wanted to do a minute more), which pissed me off a little, but I'll manage.

Recovery: Fine after yesterday.

June 23, 2010

Day 174

Training

Cardio 20 min.

Stretch 20 min.

Gym (45 sec recovery between sets):
1. Wide-Grip Lat Pull-Downs 5 x 9RM
2. Incline DB Bench Press 5 x 8RM
3. BB Romanian Deadlift (plates to floor) 5 x 8RM
4. Close-Grip BB Bicep Curls 5 x 8RM
5. Hanging Straight-Leg Raises 5 x 8

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: Back to sleeping between 2-4 hours.

Mental Focus and Clarity: Was not the greatest on waking, but not 15-20 minutes after dosing BLACK CATS, it was high and I was ready to go.

Energy: I have been like a non-stop energizer bunny again.

Mood/Aggression: Overall, mood is good, with a few VERY aggressive and angry moments thrown around.

Stress: Up and down re different areas.

Endurance: Good.

Strength: Still on the rise. I can now actually 'throw up' DB over 35lb by myself for exercises like Incline DB Bench Press and the Seated DB Shoulder Press, etc., when before my forced recovery period, although I could do the exercise fine, I had to get someone to place the DB in my hands in the starting position for each exercise.

Quality of Training: It was good today. I was really feeling it on the cardio, especially in my legs.

Recovery: My legs ache - understandably.

Pump: Definite pump today; best in biceps after Close-Grip BB Bicep Curls.

Vascularity: Vascularity better still, with ropes showing here and there.

Muscle Hardness/Density: Arms and legs.

June 16, 2010

Day 167 - Day 11 of FREE TEST

Training

HIIT Cardio:
a. 4 min jogging
b. 8 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
c. 4 min jogging

Gym (45 sec recovery between sets):
1. Wide-Grip Lat Pull-Downs 5 x 8-9RM
2. Incline DB Bench Press 5 x 8-9RM
3. BB Romanian Deadlift (on box, plates to floor) 5 x 8-9RM
4. Close-Grip BB Bicep Curls 5 x 8RM
5. Hanging Straight-Leg Raises 5 x 8

Post-Weights Cardio 20 min:
a. Spin Bike 10 min @ 100-102 rpm
b. Spin Bike 10 min @ 108-110 rpm

Stretch 30 min.

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: I've gone from sleeping every second or third day to every day, but falling asleep when I want to be getting UP (sigh). My body HAS to settle down SOON . . .

Mental Focus and Clarity: Been completely there.

Energy: Once I get myself going re training, I am fine. Energy was pretty awesome today.

Mood/Aggression: I am a perfectionist, and sometimes this is a good thing, and sometimes it is not. Sometimes I need to learn when to say "Enough!"

Stress: Still high on the radar, but more manageable than it was.

Endurance: Slowly returning.

Strength: To be honest, I'm not really too concerned with my strength levels at the moment - more focused on getting my ENDURANCE back to where it was. However, strength is gradually improving - the way my resistance training is structured will allow for this.

Quality of Training: HIIT Run was a huge explosion for the first few efforts, petering out over the later sprints . . . Resistance session was pretty good. I'm getting stronger re lifting the heavier dumbbells up by myself (I never have a problem DOING the exercise, but 'throwing' the heavier dumbbells up is an issue for my wrists), which I am pleased with.

Recovery: I had yesterday off (and did yesterday's session today before today's sessions). Not sore this week, like I was last week - could be that this is the second week of this training, and I have had two days recovery already . . .

Pump: Strong pump today, especially in my forearms - they were so hard that it was PAINFUL.

Vascularity: Reasonable.

Muscle Hardness/Density: Muscles don't actually look as hard today as they were - recovery days have a small impact.

Other Effects: I have definitely established a pattern re appetite - to get any appetite suppression, I have to dose BLACK CATS twice daily at 2 caps per dose; if I only have BLACK CATS once daily, then I am like a ravenous, unstoppable animal re appetite.

June 9, 2010

Day 160

Training

Gym (45 sec recovery between sets):
1. Wide-Grip Pronated Pull-Ups 2 x 5, 3
2. Wide-Grip Lat Pull-Downs 4 x 8RM
3. Incline DB Bench Press 5 x 8RM
4. BB Romanian Deadlift (on box, plates to floor) 7 x 6-8RM
5. Close-Grip BB Bicep Curls 5 x 6RM
6. Hanging Knee Raises 5 x 8

Post-Weights Cardio 20 min:
Stepper @ 8 floors/min.

Stretch 24 min.

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: Actually having trouble sleeping. After my one hour of sleep yesterday, I slept briefly for three hours this morning. Could be the second dose of BLACK CATS that I've started having in the afternoon - to get me through the rest of the day.

Mental Focus and Clarity: My mind will NOT shut off!

Energy: As I said, I've started dosing BLACK CATS twice daily, as the little amount of training that I have started doing (and "little" is right - resistance sessions are HALF (if that) of the time I would normally spend lifting weights, and I'm only doing three of them a week (as opposed to 4-5), with cardio gone back to one 20-min session daily) is taking quite a lot out of me come mid to late afternoon. Energy DURING training is fine, though - although, today it wasn't, and during post-weights cardio (let's not do that again - cardio always BEFORE weights works better for me), I was EXHAUSTED.

Mood/Aggression: A smile crept out . . .

Libido: My body is in OVERdrive!

Joints: Nursing my left wrist after resistance session today . . . And back - going heavy on BB Romanian Deadlifts, I may as well be doing regular BB Deadlifts, as they have the same effect on my back and really does a number on me; I'll feel that tomorrow, guaranteed.

Endurance: Not really there.

Strength: It wasn't a strength-strength session today, but my strength was there on all but Wide-Grip Pronated Pull-Ups - which is why I finished my sets/reps with Wide-Grip Lat Pull-Downs. I do NOT do assisted pull-ups, but do them completely on my own, and right now I am definitely noticing the extra 10-12 pounds (and also doing Wide-Grip Pronated Pull-Ups - I usually prefer Close-Grip Supinated Pull-Ups).

Quality of Training: Resistance session really got me working. So much so, that I was exhausted and barely walking in a straight line afterwards - it was sheer willpower and determination NOT to miss any more training sessions that got me through cardio afterwards.

Recovery: My core has never been so sore in my entire life! The BB Ab Rollouts (and probably the Overhead BB Squats as well, since they are a "new" exercise) from Monday hit me today, and it hurts to move - doing the Hanging Knee Raises was almost torture.

Pump: Not much of a pump going today.

Vascularity: Vascularity was ok, better after training than during (I am noticing how pale I am - when I am darker, my vascularity seems a lot higher).

Muscle Hardness/Density: Legs and a little arms.

Body Composition and Look: Still so very far from where I want to be.

Other Effects: BLACK CATS has annihilated my appetite - definitely useful. It didn't take long at all - yesterday I suddenly realized that I had no desire to eat whatsoever. For those that know me, this is a very rare thing for me - I have been called everything from a bottomless pit to a food vacuum, been compared and concluded as 'worse' than the Cookie Monster or a garbage disposal unit, because of the frequency and quantity of food that I usually consume, and more, LOL - and I am going to make good use of it whilst it lasts!

Day 159

Training

HIIT Cardio:
a. 4 min skip
b. 8 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
c. 8 x 40 sec effort/20 sec easy
d. 4 min skip

Stretch 23 min.

Comments

Sleep - Time and Quality: Only slept from ~0230-0330 this morning. Felt like I had been asleep for ages, though.

Mental Focus and Clarity: BLACK CATS kicked this into high gear soon after waking and getting up. Working to keep it early afternoon. Have to stay on the ball for a long shift at work this evening.

Energy: I definitely have energy, despite my aching body.

Mood/Aggression: Up and down.

Stress: Still in the red warning zone.

Libido: Definitely responsive.

Endurance: Better than this training session on Sunday, but still needing to be quite a bit HIGHER.

Quality of Training: HIIT was fast and furious this morning. I had a lot of energy - surprising for so little sleep, and was eager to get it out. Worked up quite a hot sweat.

Recovery: DOMS in legs and core from yesterday's session - looking forward to having NO more DOMS in about a week.

Pump: Lower legs and arms.

Vascularity: Vascularity isn't as high today as it usually is during training (and throughout the day).

Muscle Hardness/Density: It doesn't take much for my legs to harden back up again.

Body Composition and Look: Down another 1.4 pounds from yesterday - making it a loss of 5 pounds from baseline to date. This loss will slow down by the end of the week though, as most of it will be from food and water weight, no doubt, with a little fat. And then it'll be burning the fat from me.

Other Effects: I've had quite the upset stomach the last couple of days - the first few days on Drive (from the Icariin), and it should be gone by the end of the week.

2. Overhead BB Squats 4 x 5RM
3. Weighted Dips 5 x 4RM
4. BB Ab Rollout 4 x 5

Stretch 20 min.

Comments

Mental Focus and Clarity: ~15 minutes after dosing BLACK CATS, I am wide awake and ready for anything.

Energy: I definitely had energy today, and prepared myself for an interesting training session.

Mood/Aggression: Mood has picked up, and can only get better with training again.

Stress: Unbelievably high.

Libido: My head may match my body today.

Endurance: My training sessions are not going to last as long as they would usually. However, I will be noting endurance re cardio, more specifically my SPEED endurance, since this is what Drive does for me.

Strength: It was the first of a new and different resistance session today - as all of this week will be - so technically, this week is setting baseline levels to make comparison to in further weeks.

Quality of Training: Pre-weights cardio was good. Legs were feeling it a little, and I was sweating a lot . . . Resistance training was interesting. VERY different to what I am used to. First time I have added Overhead Squats to my training (I have actually only done them once before today), and it was weird, to say the least. Recovery was fine. A short session - half as short as usual. The change in training style should be productive for my body.

Pump: Pump in legs after pre-weights cardio. Reps not high enough to get a pump during resistance training.

Vascularity: Vascularity was strong in the gym.

Muscle Hardness/Density: My upper arms actually feel harder today - most probably from the Weighted Dips.

Body Composition and Look: I am down 3.6 pounds from yesterday - training again definitely makes a fast difference re weight and body composition for me, and I am excited to be on my way back to being me!

The Next 4 Weeks: Train to FREE TEST

GOAL

My goal for this phase (will take 5-8 weeks to achieve) is to get back to my normal level of fitness, predominantly:
* Body Composition of 8% bodyfat
* Resting Pulse of 30-32 beats per minute

I'm starting at:
* Body Composition of 14.3% bodyfat
* Resting Pulse of 43 beats per minute

TRAINING

Training is going to be slightly different, considering the last 13 weeks, and how much I have been struggling over the last two weeks to start training properly again, as well as new working situations.

Sunday: HIIT Cardio + Stretch 20-30 minutes

Monday: 20-40 min Cardio + Stretch 20-30 minutes + Gym

Tuesday: HIIT Cardio + Stretch 20-30 minutes

Wednesday: 20-40 min Cardio + Stretch 20-30 minutes + Gym

Thursday: HIIT Cardio + Stretch 20-30 minutes

Friday: 20-40 min Cardio + Stretch 20-30 minutes + Gym

Saturday: V-Burn Challenge Circuit + Stretch 20-30 minutes

So, different to what I am used to - which is good; it will give my body a shock. Actually, re days, etc., it's more like I trained when I first started focusing on bodybuilding. So, it's pretty much a 'Back to Basics' time for me - with everything, including supplements.

SUPPLEMENTS

The only NEW supplement (i.e. supplement that I have not used before) that I am using is FREE TEST (although I was a beta tester for FREE TEST, the final version is nothing like the beta version I tested).

Back in the Saddle: One Week Down

Woke feeling sore, but refreshed, although my energy levels were waning (interesting) . . .

pm

HIT (no recovery between rounds):

2 rounds of -

1. Skip 1 min

2. Box - Straight Punches 1 min

3. Skip 1 min

4. Box - Uppercuts 1 min

5. Skip 1 min

6. Box - Hooks 1 min

7. Skip 1 min

8. Box - Pitter-patter 1 min

9. Skip 1 min

10. Plank 1 min

Stretch 20 min.

So, one week down on my journey to recovery (remembering that I am allowing 6 weeks to get back to where I was re fitness and physique). Even at Maintenance training levels, I have been struggling - which is to be expected, but MUST be done. And it must be built upon, and next week will see the addition of some post-weights cardio - got to get my body back on track as soon as possible.

Once these 6 weeks are up, I will be adding in RPM and Drive, to make up the four horses stack (i.e. RPM/Drive/IGF-2/NeoVar), using BLACK CATS as a staple again, to help with progress. I've had great success using this stack in the past, and look forward to using it again!
