MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY


Be gentle with yourself. Just as everyone has their own path in life, so every flower blossoms and grows at different paces and in its own season. You are human and that means to be perfectly flawed. It does not mean you have to be indestructible, even if you want and have tried to be.


You don't have to have it all figured out before you move. Look inside for the answers you seek, deeper than you might have ever sought before, for when uncertain which turn to follow, that which you might not have truly been able to admit even to yourself rests quietly, waiting for you to be ready to listen and acknowledge.


As you do, be brave enough to be honest with yourself, to be vulnerable and open to face your weaknesses head on before any addictions and desires cause destruction irreparable. I have learnt this. The irony is that my angels and my demons, though often at odds with one another, much like my mind and my heart, are also the best of friends and would not survive long without the other, for as dark and light are two sides of the same coin, so are they in my Gemini soul.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BE STRONG

The night seems longer than ever, darker than ever, your tears limitless in their source, the emotions tearing and ripping you apart seeming determined to see how little they can leave you with. Yet you know better – that you are stronger than this, have endured much more than this, too many times before, and that you found a way before, so you will find a way NOW. You will be STRONG and no one will ever know, your face a smile, your body acting as it should, living life through the “motions”.

You HAVE to be strong. You cannot let it show. You will not let them see your struggle. Your pain is yours alone, because the one that should have cared cares not. You have others relying on you and you must be strong for them. Never mind what YOU are going through. You continue to be the rock that they “need”, even when you have no rock of your own.

You stay strong on all outward appearance and you see the irony in the strength others get from YOU. You understand that even when your own world is dark you can STILL be a light in that of others. You can still provide some comfort to others and help them through THEIR tough times. You can continue to be everything that they think you are because they need you to be that, even though you may feel powerless and unsure of how to proceed in your own situation.

Your strength, your guidance, your simply “being” – you may never know how it helps another or inspires them. You do it because it’s what you do. In turn, though you may not find the peace that YOU seek, you can at least know that you are able to make a difference. You can continue being an example – you ARE an example, your entire life, though it might not always be the best one. You continue on, because if you did not, the other option is NOT an option.

SOMETHING WONDERFUL

Life is full of miracles and wonders. Life is full of beauty and majesty. There is ALWAYS something that can – and will – amaze and surprise you, especially when you LEAST expect it, often when you have given up on anything of the like [for you].

Live life like it IS a miracle – because it IS. Live life like something WONDERFUL is going to happen to YOU – because it IS waiting to be. Live life APPRECIATING the beauty of the souls and hearts and of those who surround [and love] you. Live life knowing what majesty created this world and give THANKS for it.

Life loves to SURPRISE you, to create DELIGHT in your soul, by AMAZING you with WONDER. It loves to bring JOY to your soul in the most UNexpected of ways, through the most UNlikely of people. It loves to RENEW the HOPE in the hearts of the broken and weary, giving them something to look FORWARD to after the cold and dark night of tragedy. It loves to RESTORE the FAITH of those who have all but lost it, giving them glimpse of the future and what could be.

Life is full of everything you could ever imagine and MORE. It might try to beat you down and bring you to your knees, but it can also be truly wonderful, and sometimes you have to look past the pain and ugliness to see the beauty and wonder of it. You have to accept that there is a BALANCE and you cannot have one withOUT the other - they will always COexist, just as there exists light and dark within the human soul. The soul holds more power and strength than you might ever know, so always believe and never forget, that something wonderful is about to happen [just when you need it the most].

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

NO SHORTCUTS

Life is TOUGH. It HURTS. It lets you achieve the pinnacle of “success” and then it kicks you down a cliffside faster than you can think. That’s life. Get used to it.

Get used to it. But DON’T accept it. DON’T let it beat you so much that you give up trying altogether. Don’t let it take away the ESSENCE of you and the spark that keeps you going and burning bright for others to see.

Life is tough BECAUSE it is PREPARING you. For what is to COME. It has to make sure that the you that eventually reaches the destination intended is a you that can LIVE there. It has to make sure that you have what it TAKES to live the life you want and achieve the dreams in your heart. It has to make sure that you’re STRONG enough to look fear in the face and release courage despite any and all odds.

The journey may be long AND hard. But without the journey the destination would not hold as much MEANING. It would not be APPRECIATED for the sacrifices required and the work that it took to get there. It would not see a soul that had been tested by fire and trialled through destruction come out as a “brand new” being capable of the ultimate AWARENESS of self and its world. It would not see a soul who understands that the true desires and dreams of the heart are worth EVERYTHING endured to get there.

Shortcuts create DEFECTS. Life wants to make sure that there are no defects in the “end creation” that steps into its final place of realized PERFECTION. It wants to make sure that the soul that holds its dreams in the palm of its hand is one who KNOWS the explicit emotion of having experienced the world through more than a looking glass. It wants that soul to see the DUALITY in everything and understand just what it takes to stand on the top of the world and look out over it. It wants a soul who knows its darkness and light and CHOOSES to live its truth in light.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

SHADOW AND LIGHT

Shadows are a natural accompaniment to light. They are cast under whatever stands in the light and sometimes over as well. In the same way that the Devil tries to tempt you and lead you astray when God blesses you and life seems to be going better than ever, shadows seek to cast darkness over any light shining so brightly because they cannot bear to see such glory and would rather see it smothered.

It is simply the way it is and will never change. Those who are doing nothing with their lives will always sit back and criticize those who are standing up and stepping out and taking the risk of pursuing their dreams or calling. Those who are waiting for someone to do something that they can emulate through plagiarism will always try to topple those who shoulders whom they seek their own greatness from.

There are shadows and light in every soul. Every day they fight with one another to see which will come out triumphant. Remember that the shadows in your soul can help give strength to your light and make it that much brighter. Never underestimate the power of the synchronicity of having your soul being complete in working together and understand that without the darkness there would be no light.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

TOWARDS THE LIGHT

No matter where you are there is ALWAYS a light SOMEwhere, whether near or far, in or out of sight. REMEMBER that. Remember that the darkest night has a dawn rising AFTER, the inky blackness of space is lit with billions of balls of light, and the darkest heart is not completely devoid of the faintest glimmer of light.

When hope seems dark look for the LIGHT and let it revive you. Let the light push away at the shadows inside, pressing down the claustrophobia clawing up from the depths, the heartache threatening to overwhelm again. Let the light RENEW your heart, its gentle peace REFRESH your soul, the happiness of your inner CHILD loose in the world to make it all a wonder.

Dark BALANCES light, but some souls have more of one than the other, the other half hidden or not even half, having to find or discover it. The light exists for even the darkest souls and when it is sought even the shadows can begin to fade from the glow that the dawn spreads from the INSIDE out. Never forget that there is ALWAYS a light for us when we lose our way and we can always turn TOWARDS it.
