GO CONFIDENTLY

Have CONFIDENCE in yourself and what you want to achieve. Believe that you CAN achieve it.

Confidence will take you places its lack will never be able to. It will open doors you might never have imagined. It will draw people to you in a way you never could without.

One with a dream is good. But one with a dream AND the confidence to put themselves out there for it is even better. And what makes that greater is the openness and willingness to RISK and SACRIFICE for that dream, for those who ACT on their dreams are those that can “change the world”.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

FOCUSED DETERMINATION

That way you get in the gym when nothing and no one else exists but you and the weights, feeling the pain and incredible high making it almost pleasurable; being so “in the zone”, your “happy place”, a sanctuary from the rest of the world’s realities – consider living EVERYthing in your life with that same focused determination. If you already have or do, you’ll understand how it can make everything seem to be more meaningful, hold purpose and give you a reason for “continuing”.

Life may not be a “training zone” per se, even as it is, for it as you live you are being “trained” in the ways of life – conditioned, moulded, taught, created and evolving; a living entity constantly changing, affected by the stirrings of its soul and the emotions wrought within it by its experiences of the world and those it touches as it passes by. Imagine seeing every experience and person as a “lesson” or a “reason” to help you learn or understand your “mission” and develop deeper meaning for the purpose you discover your soul living for.

Focus your soul on your purpose. Let it seep into your heart. Allow it to become all that your mind dwells on. Create your lifestyle around it. Act out the directives that will ultimately only bring you one step closer to your “destination”, even as each new destination reached only means that the next location on the journey is revealed, because the journey of life is one that is never ending.

Focus with such determination that you cannot see anything outside of your purpose. Know what you will and will not allow in your life. Become a master at inviting the growth you need and weeding out the inevitable toxicity that will seek to undermine and destroy you on your path to “success”. Listen to your instinct and be not afraid to walk away from anything that does not make your soul sing or that gives you a creepy feeling.

Let yourself “become” your purpose; so much that anyone who looks at you sees the focused determination and inexplicably knows that you are a soul on a mission. Like souls and hearts and minds will be drawn by your determination, the unwavering facing of whatever comes, perhaps seeking to join or walk alongside you as you brave and carve the path you choose to take.

Whether you are aware of it or not, that focused determination will inevitably ultimately inspire others, either to “find” their own purpose or to join you for however long it takes to “become” the conviction and strength that you exude for themselves. Sometimes we are what others “need” to get set on their own path, even as others may have been for us a turning point in “resetting” our lives.

FOCUSED DETERMINATION. It can create so much. It can become so much. It can change so much. Find YOURS. You never know WHAT it could do!

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

WHAT YOU BELIEVE

Your life does not happen by mere coincidence. You do not achieve the things you do by accident. You do not become the person you are by fate. You make a decision in your mind based off the dreams in your heart and you act on those dreams and it takes you on the journey you now tread.

When you dream set NO limits. See EVERYTHING as possible. Reach for the stars and HIGHER. Let no one or nothing tell you that what you see in your mind is not for you.

When you dream you set your “starting point”. You start NOW. Not tomorrow or some date in the future, but right now. Your destination is the VISION you hold and the journey to its realization is what will “create” the person you will BECOME.

BELIEVE in your dream. Believe that your vision will make a DIFFERENCE. Believe that you were created for a PURPOSE. Believe in the person you WANT to be.

Your life and who you become are based on the foundation of your dreams, for the one who ACTS on their dreams sets in motion events far beyond what even they can fathom. So don’t just dream and dream HIGH, but ACT on your dreams and watch the way your world CHANGES.

SOUL ON FIRE

A soul on FIRE can CHANGE the world. At least the one it is IN; the world of those AROUND it. It can make such a DIFFERENCE that the lives of all it touches will NEVER be the same ever again.

A soul on fire is POWERFUL. It can draw other souls to it like a magnet; moths to the flame that burns BRIGHT in the darkness. The VISION of that soul can INSPIRE more in the hearts of the souls warmed by its light.

A SOUL on fire canNOT be ignored. It cannot be cast aside and dismissed; muted down into the depths of the darkness. Even in the midst of intense opposition and force such a voice will be HEARD and followed.

A soul on fire creates a raging INFERNO that blazes in the souls following. It ignites PASSION hiding and lying dormant in souls that have been waiting for something to set them ALIGHT. Such an inferno SPREADS, like ripples on a pool or waves in the ocean, reaching FURTHER than one could ever imagine.  

A soul on fire is a WEAPON. So be careful WHAT you do; the influence you exert. For you never know who will be affected, or how it will leave them. Since…

A soul on fire can IMPACT not just the sphere it exists in, but the WORLD in its entirety, as the ripples of effect touch the hearts and lives of souls it might never ever meet, but whom, through its words and actions and vision are profoundly affected. To live dreams or nightmares and in turn touching OTHERS.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

ACT OF KINDNESS

It doesn’t take much – a smile, a hug, a few words of encouragement – to make a difference. You never know just what they might do, how significant such a small gesture might be to a soul in pain or struggling. Sometimes one small act of kindness, conscious or not, can change the course of another’s life – change their perspective, the words going over in their mind that they tell themselves, and in turn, their beliefs about themselves that from their actions stem.

We are not alone in this world. We are surrounded by billions of other souls, none any less significant or less precious than our own. We might never know the majority of them, never come into contact with multitudes, but we can also never UNDERestimate the effect we can make, even on those we will never physically meet – the words they read online or in print, the images they see that imprint into their psyche, the way everything comes together to form their reality of themselves.

No matter WHO you are - your “status” in life through power and position, the experiences that shaped you and created the person you are today – you can make a difference in someone ELSE’S life. All of us can. Just by opening our eyes to our hearts and understanding that even if one smiles does not mean there is not pain in their soul, because one laughs does not mean that the sound of tears does not echo louder inside them, when one extends a helping hand does not mean that they know how to deal with what is going on in their own life.

By realizing this, we can start to see how one small act of kindness every day can help not only others, but also OURSELVES. When you are in pain and give a smile you do not feel because you cannot bear to see another in pain can slowly warm your heart. Laughing with another even when you want to cry can slowly ease the burden of your tears. Extending a hand to help another in need can slowly give a glow that spreads through your soul, knowing that everything in time and for a purpose.

By changing something we might not even think we changed, we CAN make a difference. Making a difference in the life of another can ripple effect into the lives of those we do not even know, spread further than we could ever fathom, and start a chain reaction that changes more than we might possibly imagine. ONE small act of kindness might not change the world, but it is a START, for it starts with US, and when we change OURSELVES, we have the power to change ANYthing.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

BE A VOICE

There are many voices in the world, but for very voice there is an echo. There are followers, people who simply repeat the words of someone else because they have nothing original of their own to say. DON’T be one of those people. Be one of the VOICES. Stand up for what you believe in. Stand alone if you have to against the crowd of the “norm”. Stand by your word and do not let the naysayers and disbelievers sway you from your conviction.

Being a voice can often be a lonely path. You are the one CREATING the path. You are the one braving the first steps into the unknown. You are the one risking your life going over the edge of the cliff first. You are the one who is assaulted first. ACCEPT it. EMBRACE it. Even though it might be daunting, there is SATISFACTION in walking in a different direction than the crowd. CHANGE is created when an individual breaks away from what is known and sets off in another pursuit.

The greatest pioneers of this world were once voices that spoke out against what was. They were voices that talked of dreams and visions and the “impossible”. They dared believe in something other than what they were told to believe in. They traversed UNexplored paths and discovered amazing destinations. They “recreated” the world and changed lives in ways that could not be imagined in their time, but that we could not imagine being withOUT in the now.

Do not be afraid to let the world hear YOUR voice. Do not be afraid to dance to your OWN song. Do not be afraid to walk AWAY from the crowd and find your own path. Do not be afraid to be an INDIVIDUAL. You never know the DIFFERENCE you might make, the ripples of effect of change that your words and actions could bring. LISTEN to the inner voice in your soul and let it OUT into the world, so that it hears too. BE the voice that shouts in the mountains, not the echo reverberating back at you. BE the change!

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

ALONE AND TOGETHER

Alone one can achieve many things. They can stand against an army of disbelievers and naysayer and accomplish the “impossible”. They can hold their ground against forces that seek to destroy them and bring them to their knees. They can walk their own path and look behind only to find that they have followers in their wake. Alone, one can achieve many things.

Yet, those things, when looked at in the larger picture of life, are so very little. As one individual is but a speck in the sands of the desert of life, a drop in the ocean of life, barely a whisper on the winds that traverse through time, so is what they achieve “little”. It might enable something greater to be accomplished, but still…

TOGETHER, one or more individuals with vision can achieve many great things. They can change the world and topple dynasties as they usher in a new era. They can hold power over millions of people and create complete chaos and anarchy at the same time as they bring about the most immeasurable difference in others’ lives for happiness and peace. They can shake the foundations of the world and make it stand up and take notice. Together can be achieved many GREAT things.

There is POWER in UNITY. There is STRENGTH in COMMUNITY. Alone, one can only do SO much, but TOGETHER, such a change can be wrought that it changes the face of all one thought possible. TOGETHER, one sees the PURPOSE of the vision, the image that the tapestry of life forms with all its connecting threads, all the lives intertwined in and through and over and around each other, building something that is ultimately beautiful and hard to destroy.

Alone, there is nothing wrong with walking. But at some point in life, we “need” to walk TOGETHER. We DESIRE to “come in” with even only one other, to SHARE the journey and impact the world just that much MORE. There is nothing wrong with walking alone, but realize the strength that comes from walking TOGETHER.

2012 | Day 349: SPREAD LIGHT

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

SPREAD LIGHT

You can BE the light in the world or you can be the mirror REFLECTING the light of change that you want to see. Are you a leader or a follower? Determine what you are, because that will influence whether you are the light or the reflection.

BE the change you want to see. BE the light you want to see illuminated in the lives of the people you touch. BE the difference you want to make. BE the example you want others to follow. BE the one that CREATES the change, the one looked up to, the one who inspires POSITIVE effect.

If you do not have it within you to be the one that stands up and out, but you want your life to make a difference, to illuminate the light that is in your heart, be a MIRROR and reflect it out into the world, spreading the light of hope and faith that way.

You are stronger than you THINK. You have MORE within you than you believe. You CAN be the light if you desire to be. It’s YOUR choice. Either way SPREAD the light of life and hope and faith and change out in the world and MAKE a difference. Always remember, I DECIDE!

Day 266: ONE STEP FORWARD

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

Each day is a NEW day. A new day to take another CHANCE. A new day to take ANOTHER step. Another step FORWARD in the direction of your dreams. Another step forward, no matter how small. For even the smallest of steps is PROGRESS towards the fulfilment of the ultimate achievement. The ultimate achievement of the ULTIMATE dream. Whatever that may be. For it is different to each and every individual. But no matter what, I canNOT be stopped. I cannot be stopped from TAKING that step. I cannot be stopped from reaching that one bit FURTHER. I cannot be stopped from STRIVING for “just one more”. I cannot be stopped from doing my BEST, even if my “best” on any given day is not as good as it has been in the past or will be in the future. I will have given my best, my all on that day, and that is what MATTERS. What matters is moving FORWARD. What matters is keeping the dream ALIVE. Keeping the dream alive in my HEART and the hearts of those I touch. For when I touch others, I make a DIFFERENCE. And when you make a difference, especially in a dream, you can CHANGE the world. ONE step at a time.
