MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

ONE STEP FORWARD

Each day is a NEW day. A new day to take another CHANCE. A new day to take ANOTHER step. Another step FORWARD in the direction of your dreams. Another step forward, no matter how small. For even the smallest of steps is PROGRESS towards the fulfilment of the ultimate achievement. The ultimate achievement of the ULTIMATE dream. Whatever that may be. For it is different to each and every individual. But no matter what, I canNOT be stopped. I cannot be stopped from TAKING that step. I cannot be stopped from reaching that one bit FURTHER. I cannot be stopped from STRIVING for “just one more”. I cannot be stopped from doing my BEST, even if my “best” on any given day is not as good as it has been in the past or will be in the future. I will have given my best, my all on that day, and that is what MATTERS. What matters is moving FORWARD. What matters is keeping the dream ALIVE. Keeping the dream alive in my HEART and the hearts of those I touch. For when I touch others, I make a DIFFERENCE. And when you make a difference, especially in a dream, you can CHANGE the world. ONE step at a time.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

THE NEXT LEVEL

Life does NOT stay on the same plane for your duration of it. Planes shift beneath you, around you, in front of you. There are always HIGHER levels to ascend to, and that is what you should be striving for. The next step UP. The next tier of success. The next “moment” to happiness.

There is everything WITHIN you to climb to that next level, to take your life up a notch. There are dreams “sparked” inside that drive you to reach a different height than before, wanting to CONTINUE climbing the mountain of life with gusto and bravado, even if it does not feel what it shows the world.

Your life is determined by what YOU make of it, the decisions you make, the paths you take, the people you allow into and out of it, everything coming together in an elaborate tapestry in colours only you can see or understand. Your life is everything YOU allow it to be, because ultimately, you are the “creator” of your destiny.

Your destiny lies withIN you. In your SOUL, the secret depths few have ever seen. In your DREAMS, the ones you have always known and the ones you are discovering. In your MIND, your belief and confidence in self to accomplish these mighty things your heart wants to bring to fruition.

You should never be “content” to be where you are at. Your life does not reach a level and then STOP. You were intended to keep STRIVING to become better, and to be better, you HAVE to take your life to the NEXT level. To do that, you have to search deep inside and pull those resources out and USE them.

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

NEW

A year ago this date a pretty significant event for me occurred. It was significant in the mere fact that I even LET it happen. What followed began the journey of a heart opening up to life and the possibilities and dreams it had never dared before. A different type of strength was born, and emboldened by that strength a NEW creature began to emerge.

It is funny how fast time goes and how quickly everything can CHANGE even as nothing changes. I can look back and smile and feel that warm glow in my heart, even as that journey has ended and that creature no longer exists. I can look back and smile BECAUSE of the strength that still exists, even as it has developed and grown into something more than would have been imagined this date a year ago.

For this day is not this date a year ago. It is a NEW day. It is not a time for looking back except to remember fondly the happiness in such moments that were and learn from the experiences that sprung forth from them. It is a time for NEW strength to be moulded and new words to be written in a new chapter of this life.

With EVERY new day that dawns comes the opportunity for new adventures to begin, new dreams to be realized, new thoughts to be created, new strength to be born. It is a chance for RENEWAL of your soul, heart and mind, releasing what we have no control over to Him and taking accountability to change what we can make a difference in.

Every new day is the chance to CHOOSE to accept that the past no longer is, but that the lessons learnt are valuable. It is a chance to EMBRACE the new waiting, taking the strength you know exists and allowing it to let your smile be real, your heart to still hope, your faith to truly believe, and you to simply “be”, even as you will not let yourself stand still, constantly desiring forward movement.

As the new day starts take a moment to still your soul. Breathe in deeply and clear your mind. Seek the strength of your soul and pull it close. As it rises from within let it push away anything that would hinder your heart in moving FORWARD. Let your mind follow it, new footprints on sands wiped clean from the waves, new thoughts with new COURAGE at first a tiptoe and then a running leap becoming bounds.

New day. New strength. New thoughts. New beginning. New creature. BETTER YOU.
