Rosie Chee Fitness Newsletter :: September 2012

THE ANNIVERSARY EDITION

It's been a year since I published the first edition of my online monthly newsletter and it has been a journey for sure...

This month in the 'Training' section, I have given a "Workout Of The Year" from one of the many I have done over the past year.

In this month's 'Nutrition' section, I have listed some of the health benefits of having "An Apple A Day".

Check out this edition of the Rosie Chee Fitness Newsletter HERE.

2012 | Day 197: Badabing-Badaboom!

MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

Born Into This World...

I was NOT made to follow. I was made to LEAD. I was born to STAND OUT. I was designed with a PURPOSE. I was created for a MISSION. I am who I am, not because of circumstance, but because I am ME, defying logic and reasoning, something INSIDE me above circumstance, roaring my UNIQUENESS to the world, so that in the end it can’t help but KNOW who I am. It is my DESTINY to be GREAT and I will take hold of it and run with it until I can run no more!

Quote for Reflection:
TRAINING

HIIT Run:
a. 4 min jogging
b. 28 x 20 sec sprint/10 sec easy
c. 4 min jogging

Stretch 26 min

OTHER NOTES

Sleep: ~2 hours - once I finally drifted off had some crazy dreams [that would make a great kid's book or insane movie)!

Energy: First day with energy in weeks (and on only ~2 hours of sleep)!

Joints: Shoulders hurting like hell - especially rear left right in under and on top of my shoulder blade!

Quality of Training: HIIT outside - nice to pound the pavement again. Nice to have energy again! Sprints were great, passing quickly. Built up a sweat real fast. Only issue was right lower leg from ~15 minutes, when I could feel shooting pains through it.

Supplements: Erase, Alpha-T2, and Shred Matrix back today - HELLO ENERGY!

Other Notes: I have been in the US three years TODAY. It is also the first-year anniversary of my having become part of Team World Physique. AND great to be starting my Masters today AND have my energy back!

Comments

Mood/Aggression: Interesting. Gone from smiles to rants and back again, up and down re confidence and positivity. I'll be glad when Sunday comes around, to be honest.

Energy: Have more than yesterday - then again, it was the EASY day of training for this week.

Mental Focus and Clarity: So many things need doing - my mind is everywhere at once!

Stress: The stress is starting to show a little - I've yelled a lot today, and I usually don't yell.

Endurance: Fine.

Vascularity: My chest vascularity was mentioned today.

Quality of Training: HIIT was ok - could feel my legs and maybe it wasn't as hard as it should have been, but it's better than having a day OFF!

Recovery: OK.

Body Composition and Look: Slowly getting better - tyre and cellulite is still there, but there's not much I can do about that now, except make sure my stage presence and how I carry myself take any attention away from my imperfections. Midsection looking a little better - abs are not quite popping, but the definition is there. I am now in similar condition to what I was when I did my photoshoot the week before coming to the US, with the same girths re waist and hips, but with more muscle mass in my deltoids and arms and re width in my back.

Other Effects: Still very thirsty - I am drinking water like there's going to be a drought!

Other Notes: Did a practice tan-up for what I will be doing tomorrow night today, as well as decided on make-up, so that pretty much takes care of those final details . . . Today is also my first wedding anniversary - hard to believe I have been married that long (or that I got married at all)! Celebrations and whatnot are on hold for post-competition, though Definitely looking forward to a couple of lazy days . . .
