THE TRUTH
Your head and your heart often speak two different languages, in discord with what you should or shouldn’t do, what you want to do and what you feel you ought to do, and sometimes incomplete confusion over which path to follow. Your head can reason out the possibilities and logically give you a “yes” or “no” with explanation.
Yet reason and logic are not always the best things to follow, for they can be conflicted with your instinct and your soul, the whispers deep down within you that echo up to your heart and move it in another direction altogether. Those whispers in your soul can sometimes tell you more than your head ever can. It might not make “sense” to your head, but not everything has to for it to be “right”.
Sometimes the most illogical thing is the MOST logical option, sensing on faith and everything that cannot be explained. You won’t know if you don’t LISTEN to those soul whispers, the prompts of emotion in your heart, try to understand why you feel the way you do. Sometimes the feelings make no sense, even as they feel the most natural thing in the world to follow.
Yes, it is wise to listen to your head and the reason it can present, because “impulsiveness” is not always the best thing. But…there are times when your head is so completely WRONG that if you listen to it and ignore your heart, you can miss out on the most wonderful things in life meant for you and live to regret the “what if?” of not knowing. So, when you want to know the TRUTH, still your soul and search deep within you, seeking His voice as well as your heart for the answer, and no matter how it “looks”, follow your heart if what rests upon it remains consistent and only gets LOUDER. Follow and the path will open up before you; one step at a time, you will know what to do.
