MOTIVATIONAL OF THE DAY

SKY EARTH FIRE

The sky rests above me quietly, knowing that it is far from the “top” of my world, the vast endlessness of space stretching out towards INFINITY eons above it.

The earth softly hums beneath me, cradling my footsteps as I tread upon its surface, I knowing that there is far MORE below than on the surface, and life is just the same, what is seen not even close to the depth of reality.

The fire glowing inside, the simmering embers that still have the power to burn if touched, wait within this soul, seeking to let loose the potential that they hold, the raging fire that can become, spreading light to places far beyond my reach. The fire within harnesses the power of passion, the emotion of heart, the PURPOSE of life, wanting nothing more than to be free to flicker in the darkness of the night of the world.

The sky knows it is not the limit. The earth knows it is not the “bottom”. The fire knows that He who fans it is omnipresent and its “power” is ONLY because of Him and the strength He gives to it.

The Keeper of the Fire is and always was and always will be. He will never sleep or drift or die. He stills the fire when it is needed and fans the flame when He knows it is time. When the winds of the darkness of the world somehow find a way to creep inside this soul and blow the flames out, He keeps hope alive, if even in one tiny glowing spark, knowing that even the smallest and faintest of sparks can STILL alight the night again.

My limits are not placed on me in this physical realm. The sky, the earth – they are nothing compared to the fire of the human soul when it is set alight. When such soul has purpose and knows without doubt its reason for living, then it flares brighter than any dark of night, encouraging the souls around it to burn WITH it.
